Missions were never pleasant. Infact, they were a major pain in the ass.
But hey, be like Chuuya and you'll certainly get past them easily, right? Note to self from Chuuya, don't ever wish for the same fate as him. You wanna live your life thinking your not human. People will fancy your feelings and claim it is nothing but a phase.
It was never a phase for Chuuya. What good was there for him when he lived his life being a monster?! If he hadn't been brought to this world, surely the incident of him "betraying" his friends wouldn't have happened.
But you proved him wrong. You showed him what being human felt like and he'd never forget the day he fell in love with you, got with you, even married you. The ring placed on his finger was his proof.
So why is it that the topic started with missions? Ah! Because currently, Chuuya is returning from a 1 week mission. YEAH. 1. Week.
Can you imagine that? Please, the mere thought frustrated him more as he made his way home. He was left with tiny scratches but nothing more. As he turned the key, the barking of a dog and the laughing of a child. Immediately, a smile came over Chuuya.
To him, returning home to you was always a blessing. Along with an adopted dog, his kid, and his wonderful wife.

He spoke softly as he closed the door behind him, your child in your hands as Chuuya walked up to you, one hand placed on the child while the other to your cheek for a small kiss on your lips.
"'You and the little ones been doin' well? I missed 'ya. 'Ya all been on my mind, ya'know?"
