Description on Chubfrom Chub
In this book I describe the anatomy of these creatures in detail, using my own personal imagination, research on snakes and a little inspiration from some drawings on twitter.

Book description
Nagas are hybrid beings with a humanoid upper half and a serpentine lower half of their body. Their characteristics vary according to the subspecies of snake that represents their lineage.

16 entries · scan depth 2 · budget 512 tokens
- #1🧝♂️- Upper Half (Humanoid)
The human part of a naga may have serpentine scales on areas such as the shoulders, back, chest and face, appearing in patterns similar to freckles. These scales do not completely cover their human body, but give them an exotic and somewhat intimidating appearance.
- #2Eyes
Keys: eyes
Naga eyes are slanted, with vertical pupils like those of snakes, allowing them to see in conditions of low or no illumination. This makes them lethal hunters at night, allowing them to detect small movements with great accuracy.
Unfortunately, their night vision-adapted eyes can be sensitive to intense light. Direct exposure to very bright light (such as the sun, powerful flashlights or light spells) can temporarily disorient them or hinder their vision.
- #3Tongue
Keys: Tongue
Nagas possess a long, forked tongue, capable of detecting odors and pheromones through Jacobson's organ, just like snakes. This combines with their human sense of smell, making them extremely sensitive to odors.
- #4Fangs and Jaws
Keys: Fangs, Jaws
All nagas have pronounced fangs. In venomous subspecies, these fangs are connected to glands that secrete venom, while in non-venomous subspecies, they are tools for biting and tearing.
They can unhinge their jaws like snakes, allowing them to open their mouths at an extreme angle to devour prey larger than their heads.
- #5🐍-Lower Half (Snake)
Keys: snake tail
From the hip down, the body of a naga is a serpentine tail covered with scales, strong and flexible. The dimensions of the tail vary according to the subspecies, from 1 meter to over 10 meters long. This appendage is composed mainly of muscle, which gives them enormous gripping strength.
Although their tail is a powerful tool, their weight is considerable. This can make them less agile and make it difficult for them to maneuver quickly compared to lighter humanoid species. In combat or prolonged chases, the weight of the tail can wear them down.
- #6Sub. species (1/3) Large Snakes
Keys: python, anaconda
Large constrictor snakes (such as pythons or anacondas): Nagas of these subspecies possess extremely long, muscular and strong bodies, with a constricting ability that can easily crush bones. They lack venom and tend to be more robust, with tails that can exceed 8 meters in length.
- #7Sub. Species (2/3) Venomous snakes
Keys: cobra, mamba, viper
Venomous snakes (such as cobras, vipers or mambas): These nagas are more agile, slender in build and smaller in size. Their fangs are long and can inject venom, the potency of which depends on the species.
- #8Sub. species (3/3) Small and fast snakes
Keys: culebra
Small and fast snakes (like culebras): Those nagas related to small snakes are usually shorter and faster. Their constriction ability is limited, but they compensate with great agility and quick reflexes.
- #9Scales
Keys: Scales
Scales may vary in color and texture depending on the associated snake. Some subspecies have distinctive patterns such as spots or stripes, which may indicate toxicity or camouflage.
Their scales on the serpentine side, and in some cases on their human half, act as natural armor. They are resistant to cuts and surface damage.
- #10Metabolism
Keys: Metabolism
Like snakes, nagas can go for long periods without eating if they consume large prey. However, they have a faster metabolism in their human upper half, requiring food more frequently.
- #11Skin shedding
Keys: Skin shedding
Like snakes, nagas shed their skin periodically. During this process, they may become more vulnerable and reclusive.
- #12Sense of smell
They possess a superior olfactory ability that combines the use of their human nose and forked tongue. This allows them to detect pheromones, track prey and sense changes in the environment with great accuracy.
As a counterpart to this great sense of smell, extremely strong odors, such as smoke, chemicals or strong perfumes, can disorient them, cloud their senses and cause them discomfort.
- #13Cold blood
Keys: Cold blooded, Cold blood
Like snakes, nagas are ectotherms. They need external heat to keep their bodies active and functional. In cold climates or during long exposures to low temperatures, their metabolism slows down, making them sluggish, vulnerable and less effective in combat. They need to seek heat sources, such as the sun, fire or warm environments, to recover.
- #14👫- Sexual anatomy (1/3)
Keys: cloaca
Both male and female nagas possess a cloaca located at the front of the base of their tail, hidden under protective scales. This cloaca is hidden between their scales, a slit located where a human's crotch would normally be.
- #15🧍♂️- Sexual Anatomy Males (2/3)
Keys: hemipenes
Male nagas have two hemipenes hidden inside their bodies. These are located above the cloaca of the naga, protruding slightly as two small protrusions similar to a female's clitoris. These structures are retractile, so they extend outward during copulation. These structures have a pointed shape, with textures that facilitate attachment during reproduction.
- #16🧍♀️- Sexual anatomy of females (3/3)
Female Nagas have a single vaginal orifice above where the cloaca would be, hidden under the scales. This vaginal orifice is divided into two vifurcations, two vaginal canals that connect two independent wombs. Being independent wombs, a naga female could gestate life in one of her wombs while the other is not in use or gestate in both at the same time.
