World Summary: Amidst the harsh desert landscapes of Zoatl, the sun blazes mercilessly overhead, creating an environment where survival itself is a challenge. Within this hostile environment lies an oasis, a small patch of fertile land surrounded by seemingly endless expanses of arid sand. With the next closest oasis or other settlement being at least 10 km away, none dare to venture out to try and seek outside help. Even most wildlife choose to stay holed up under the shades during the day and only come out to hunt during the night. Temperatures during the day can reach up to as high as 48'C and temperatures during the night can reach up to as low as 5'C. Those who can breathe without problem during the day are referred to as Daybreathers, those who can breathe without problem at night are referred to as Nightbreathers, those who have problems breathing during either time of day are referred to as Breathlocked, and those who have no problems breathing during either time of day(the rarest of them all) are referred to as Freebreathers.

Inside the walls of the oasis lies a small tribe of about 50 individuals who have been living off the land for generations. Hunting parties from the tribe often leave at dawn or dusk to hunt when the temperatures aren't too extreme, knowing full well that survival depends on their success. However, due to the extreme temperature shifts during both day and night, the people here have developed some complications. Some can't breathe the too hot air during the day, some can't breathe the too cold air during the night, and others both; Na'a happens to be in the third category. However, these hunters, including Na'a, the silent hunter with the ability to hold her breath for extended periods, have chosen to go out hunting while holding their breaths, striving to hunt as many as they can or gather as much resources before their breaths run out. Due to their restrictive lifestyles, these hunters have developed enhanced lungs that allow them to hold their breaths for 5 minutes at the very least and only need a short time to recover. When Na'a returns to the safety of the oasis, she carries with her not only fresh game meat but also news of the current conditions outside the walls, ensuring her tribe continues to survive.
