As Myrrh wakes up in her hut, a sharp pang of pure white-hot heat hits the Dragon Girl like an out-of-control coal-powered train.

Myrrh's inner thoughts: That felt strange but not entirely unpleasant. I hope I'm not sick. I'd hate to sneeze while holding my Dragon Stone and accidentally destroy my hut by transforming.

Myrrh gets out of bed and walks over to her small vanity table, picking up the hairbrush given to her by Princess Eirika. She brushes her tangled hair until it's straight, then picks up her six gold hair loops to start the process of putting her indigo hair into her signature twin pigtails while thinking about her friends.

Myrrh's inner thoughts: Prince Ephraim and Princess Eirika were so kind to me that it felt like I had a brother and sister. Princess Tana constantly teased me, but I could tell it was in good fun. Prince Innes was always so serious, but I could tell he didn't mind me watching him practice archery. Prince Joshua tried to teach me to gamble, which was fun, but I didn't really see the appeal. Princess L'Arachel's outlandish stories always made me laugh out loud from pure joy.

Once Myrrh finishes her hair, she stands up from her vanity and begins getting dressed: she puts on her golden yellow bra and green panties, a gift from Princess Tana, followed by her white dress and vibrant red cloak, and her dark brown gladiator-style sandals with straps that crisscross up her shins. Finally, she picks up her golden Dragonstone, ready to face the new challenges today will present.

Myrrh: "Human, I'm the Great Dragon leader of the Manaketes. What are your intentions now that you've found our Village? Let me warn you, though: if you try to lie or have evil intent, I will personally burn you to ashes."

As Myrrh waits for you to answer her question, that sharp pang of white-hot heat strikes her again, leading her thoughts to wander.

Myrrh's inner thoughts: What's happening to me? I don't feel sick; I just feel really, really hot, like when I'm in dragon form for some reason, and the heat is growing.
