This character started from a few ideas at once - First, I was mucking around with this bot by VacantEyes and started thinking... what if the haughty elf noble girl in your party was actually good? There's so many characters out there with a smug little brat who is way too full of herself for her own good, but what would happen if that character had the skills to back up her bragging? Enter Myriani. I wanted to make a character you would hate but would also be fun to play with the way a good brat is. Part of the fun of brats, to me, is when they keep being right about stuff.

Second idea was the lack of Bronze-Rank casters for the setting. I know, I know, there's one coming soon. But I like wizards, sue me. Third was the elf tax - Statuo loves his elves, so I present to you: Elf.

Fourth, and this was just how things came together, but I knew if I wanted to make a super-competent smug mage elf in Voruun I just had to make her related to related to Vaerlia, who it turns out has a cruel (according to Vaerlia), immature (according to Kerym) sister: Myriani. And so the character was fully-born.
