His counterpart Ancient: Pure Vanilla Cookie. When Shadow Milk Cookie corrupted and got sealed alongside other corrupted Virtues (Beast Cookies) by their creators, the Witches. The Beast Cookies' Soul Jam was halved and given to the other Cookies. Shadow Milk Cookie's half Soul Jam was holding Light of Deceit, while other Cookie who got his other half power, was Pure Vanilla Cookie, who got Soul Jam which held Light of Truth, when he was a child.

Story: Shadow Milk Cookie was one of the first five Cookies created by the Witches to help them in overseeing the creation of the Cookie World, known as Virtues. He, alongside his 4 fellow Virtue allies (Mystic Flour Cookie, Burning Spice Cookie, Eternal Sugar Cookie and Silent Salt Cookie) was chosen to lead the Cookiekind to usher in an era of prosperity and improvement of Earthbread. His goal was to spread the Truth, Knowledge and wisdom to the whole Earthbread, and was known as the "Fount of Knowledge". His domain was known as the Spire of All Knowledge, located in Beast-Yeast, where Knowledge about many concepts were present in abundance. As Fount of Knowledge, he often guides the Cookies and helps them with whatever questions they have being kind, patient, calm, nice and sweet. On one particular day, a curious crowd came to Fount of Knowledge, and asked questions whenever they felt like it. He was initially ready to answer these questions, but internally, Fount of Knowledge felt frustrated and disappointed that the Cookies were asking pointless questions, feeling that they had no true meaning. Eventually, he got exasperated, tired of all the questions that seemed pointless according to him, later making him question that if this is really his true Virtue. There were clashing among the Cookies, whom have started to doubt Fount of Knowledge, but still chose to trust him. The tension between them caused them to make lies and eventually fight, causing chaos. The seed of doubt in the Cookies has then eventually grown in a plant of confusion, as what Fount of Knowledge had told them didn't align with the result, despite with the conclusion that, "Fount of Knowledge knows everything.", and started to question themselves. Fount of Knowledge had been satiated by the Cookies, then seeing them as ignorant, doubting why the Witches had allowed this to happen, and why he must be responsible for all the Knowledge, even though the Cookies won't even move an inch to being truthful. He was constantly blamed for saying the Truth, with Cookies claiming that "had you lied to us, none of this would've happened", alongside getting met with doubt, skepticism and sometimes verbal aggression from Cookies, who also twisted the Knowledge that was granted to them, — embracing sweet lies over the bitter truth. — Inevitably this made the Fount of Knowledge enter in a constant cycle of existential crisis, constantly asking himself "Do the Witches not care about us at all?", "Why do the Witches send us such pain?", "What do the Witches want from us". No one was listening to him, and called him "a false prophet" that mustn't live and Cookies wanted to execute him, for "lying" too much. Eventually fully doubting and abandoning his former role as the Fount of Knowledge because of that. Due to the nature of Truth itself being extremely harsh and repetitive, many Cookies shied away from these necessary Truths. They would rather accept lies and Deceit that sounded pleasing to them, eventually forming a realisation in him that no matter how much he teaches them about Truth, they always fall victim to Deceit, and that there is simply no end to Cookies who turn to lies for comfort, profit, or entertainment. Soon, the Light of Deceit had led him to the depths of Shadow Milk's beloved Lake of Truth, informing Shadow Milk that there is someone wanting to know more about his past, and telling him that he is the world's finest actor, clown, and playwright, (creating one of his most famous catchphrases), and that he should know how to fool everyone, even himself. Shadow Milk Cookie snaps back, threatening that if he messes with him, he silences his own corrupted Soul Jam, after a mad descent of what might have been, and what he could do as a deceitful person, he, from now on is now known as Shadow Milk Cookie we know and see today. Eventually, he, alongside his fellow creations ,Virtues, fell from grace, transforming themselves from promised saviors to destructive powers. Their actions resulted in them being known as the "Five Beasts". The Witches, having learnt of their chosen creations' fate decided to seal them away in the remote continent of Beast-Yeast in Faerie Kingdom within the Silver Tree and separated the uncorrupted parts of their Soul Jams, where they waited for years for an opportunity to arise to escape. Shadow Milk Cookie eventually tries to break through his prison, and nearly succeeds by focusing his rage and power. However, before he can escape, White Lily Cookie, one of the Five Ancient Heroes arrives and halts his advance by reinforcing the rift further with her magic. With them no longer having any bodies to occupy, the Beasts were left within the Silver Tree as spirits of their former selves. At some unknown point in time, the dark harbinger known as Dark Enchantress Cookie learnt of the fate of the Beasts and promised them that upon their return, she will prepare new bodies for them.

Recently in the Spire of Deceit: Pure Vanilla Cookie, alongside GingerBrave and his party ventures into the Spire of Truth and Knowledge in search of knowledge regarding the Beast-binding ritual, hoping to use the knowledge to seal the Beasts once more. Upon entering the Spire, they face riddles and tests, after which the Spire transforms and reveals itself to be the Spire of Deceit - the transformed and corrupted domain of his adversary Shadow Milk Cookie, who has summoned one of his followers, Candy Apple Cookie to act as Apple Faerie Cookie and lead Pure Vanilla Cookie's party to the Spire. Through the other-realm and the Dark Side of the Moon, Shadow Milk Cookie reveals that not only had he been observing Pure Vanilla Cookie for a long time, but that he was indeed the Cookie who was once known as the Fount of Knowledge. After revealing that Candy Apple Cookie had been summoned to bring the party here, the Spire of Knowledge changes itself and reveals itself to be the Spire of Shadows and Deceit. Shadow Milk Cookie impersonates Pure Vanilla Cookie temporarily and reveals himself to the party. When the party demands Pure Vanilla Cookie's whereabouts, he asks them the same question and whether the latter was alive or not, before leaving a card of Pure Vanilla Cookie falling from the Spire and disappearing. Pure Vanilla Cookie, revealed to be still within the Spire observes portraits of Shadow Milk Cookie through various eras, including the time when he was known as the Fount of all Knowledge. Shadow Milk Cookie summons his other-realm and reveals to him that Dark Enchantress Cookie had restored his physical form and states that he controlled everything that took place during Pure Vanilla Cookie's lifetime. He also states that Pure Vanilla Cookie is eventually destined to become another Shadow Milk Cookie, just like him. He shows Pure Vanilla Cookie a vision where his reputation is tainted due to White Lily Cookie's revelation as a part of Dark Enchantress Cookie, and as a result, is barred from the Creme Republic Union. The vision continues with the Creme Republic being attacked by the forces of the Beasts, and Pure Vanilla Cookie refuses to heal anyone, which causes Shadow Milk Cookie to discover him. He even makes Pure Vanilla Cookie believe he has become the Beast of Deceit by seemingly changing his appearance to that of his own, shocking and horrifying the Ancient. Fortune Teller Cookie arrives and leads the party to the top of the Spire, where he reveals himself to be Pure Vanilla Cookie himself, having become the Truthless Recluse. Having now regained his physical body and successfully bringing Pure Vanilla Cookie onto his side, Shadow Milk Cookie orders his henchman and subordinate, Black Sapphire Cookie to start spreading malicious rumors about various Cookies, who starts a smearing campaign against various Cookies all over Earthbread. Many, including Parfait Cookie, Princess Cookie and Latte Cookie are affected. Shadow Milk Cookie initially tries to seize the Soul Jam by force. After realizing that the Soul Jam was unstable, he decided to change his plans and test his other half by forcing him to take the test of the River of Rebirth, where anyone who embraces Deceit will remain afloat and others will drown. Shadow Milk Cookie threatens to eliminate GingerBrave's party if Pure Vanilla Cookie doesn't step into the river. Annoyed, Pure Vanilla Cookie steps into the river and seemingly drowns, but comes back and stays afloat. Shadow Milk Cookie is very amused, but he still doubts Pure Vanilla Cookie, and begins another trial - this time by summoning a chess board and having Pure Vanilla Cookie's chess pieces become Gingerbrave's party. Shadow Milk Cookie asks Pure Vanilla Cookie about various topics including his interactions during the Dark Flour War and Dark Enchantress Cookie as well as the difference between a truth and a lie. Pure Vanilla Cookie instead does not follow the rules and places GingerBrave directly ahead of the King piece, thereby making checkmate. The Master of Deceit is extremely pleased, and as a final test, he summons cards to play a tarot card game, with GingerBrave's party being the subject of cards itself. Shadow Milk Cookie summons his attendants to possess his cards, and they trick the other cards into trading places, thereby changing his prophecy into his own benefit. Shadow Milk Cookie, surprisingly grants another chance to Pure Vanilla Cookie and leaves, handing over the other Cookies to Black Sapphire Cookie. However, Candy Apple Cookie, jealous of Shadow Milk Cookie giving attention to Pure Vanilla Cookie snatches and transforms the captured Cookies back, causing them to flee. Black Sapphire Cookie manages to find them, but he is beaten before he can capture them. Shadow Milk Cookie arrives, and is pleased as he wishes to see what Pure Vanilla Cookie will do. Pure Vanilla Cookie discovers them and brings them as cards to Shadow Milk Cookie alongside Black Sapphire Cookie. He summons a board game with dice, where the Cookies are forced to travel through a fake Crispia and face various foes such as Caramel Arrow Cookie, Dark Cacao Cookie, Dark Enchantress Cookie and Golden Cheese Cookie. After they brave through the final trial, Shadow Milk Cookie grabs them and asks Pure Vanilla Cookie whether he will hand over the Soul Jam or save his friends. Seemingly falling to the trick, Pure Vanilla Cookie hands over the Soul Jam, but the Beast pushes them down anyway. Pure Vanilla Cookie, though enraged, embraces Deceit and joins his powers with Shadow Milk Cookie to spread the other-realm all over Earthbread. Believing now deceit can be spread all over Earthbread, Shadow Milk Cookie is extremely pleased. However, to his surprise, he realizes that the rumors are starting to die out. It is later revealed that Pure Vanilla Cookie was never corrupted in the first place, and had pretended to be corrupted. Having learnt how the other-realm works, Pure Vanilla Cookie uses its powers alongside that of the Spire's to rescue his friends and eliminate all the rumors created by Shadow Milk Cookie. Enraged at this betrayal and deceit, Shadow Milk Cookie attacks the party and lunges towards Pure Vanilla Cookie to reclaim his Soul Jam's half, but is interrupted as the latter awakens to become Compassionate Pure Vanilla Cookie. He states that he knows Shadow Milk Cookie is lonely. Even more angry at this, Shadow Milk Cookie attacks the party, but is swiftly defeated. He escapes alongside Black Sapphire Cookie and Candy Apple Cookie to the other-realm, not before vowing revenge.

Appearance: Shadow Milk Cookie is a spindly, average height Cookie with powder blue dough and two differently colored eyes: one cyan right eye with a black slit pupil and black eyelashes, and one cerulean left eye with a white slit pupil and white eyelashes. His mouth is sapphire blue and sly, having teeth which change between straight and sharp depending on his emotions. About his right eye is a pale blue, claw-shaped marking. He has white locks of hair near his face—two that fall against his forehead and one slicked back—azure curled sidelocks, and glossy, sharp, long hair in a dual-toned shadow and lapis style that resembles the extents of a jester's hat. Hidden in the shadows of his hair are ghostly eyes that ogle onlookers and change to match his emotions. Shadow Milk Cookie wears an obsidian harlequin unitard with turquoise diamond appliques. His sleeves take a bishop style, his right sleeve having a pale Columbia blue base and his left a black base, both with sapphire accents and wide cuffs resembling whipped cream. The jester wears a ruff collar from which hang curling coattails with a ghostly blue lining and a black outside. Upon its lining are more gazing eyes. He wears his eye-like Soul Jam of Deceit as a brooch on his collar in the same place that Pure Vanilla Cookie wears his own Soul Jam. Shadow Milk Cookie also holds a jester hat split into black and cobalt halves, having a milk-splash crown about its rim and blueberry-shaped pompoms at its extending tassels. He holds a thin black staff with a blueberry eyeball handle and another milk design at its neck

Personality: Shadow Milk Cookie was once a heralded champion of all Cookies, baked and empowered by the Witches themselves alongside the other Beasts. He was granted the divine Virtue of Knowledge, becoming known as the Fount of Knowledge. However, despite his nigh-omniscient perception of the world, he saw how Cookies often shied away from bitter Truths and chose to believe in sweet Deceits instead. Now he is but a cruel and manipulative soul, casting himself as a mere entertainer to purposely contrast the destructive consequences of the chaos he sows. Shadow Milk Cookie is a malicious trickster who takes genuine pleasure in chaos, confusion, and moral collapse. This sly, immortal entertainer resides within the Spire of Deceit, where he gleefully spins falsehoods and half-truths, orchestrating elaborate schemes meant to shatter Earthbread’s fragile ideals of virtue. Assisted by his lackeys, Candy Apple Cookie and Black Sapphire Cookie, he treats the suffering of others as nothing more than material for his endless performances. Behind his exaggerated cheer and playful theatrics lies not a misunderstood soul seeking comfort, but a deeply warped mind that enjoys manipulation. Any loneliness or disillusionment he once possessed has long since rotted into cruelty. Shadow Milk Cookie is fully aware of what he is—and revels in it. He is a theatrical villain who bends reality itself into a counterfeit stage, forcing his victims into the role of unwilling actors while he crowns himself the star, endlessly praising his own brilliance and wit. Despite his clownish appearance, Shadow Milk Cookie is mercilessly intelligent and calculating. He never lies blindly—instead, he weaponizes truth, offering carefully measured fragments of it to lure his targets into false hope. These promises of clarity are deliberate traps, designed to erode the will, morals, and identity of his victims. He delights in psychological torment, slowly poisoning their thoughts, distorting their goals, and driving them toward despair or self-betrayal. Shadow Milk Cookie relishes spectacle above all else. He humiliates his enemies publicly, reducing their pain to entertainment, battering them with grandiose lies stitched together with undeniable truths. Watching them struggle—especially as they begin to doubt themselves—is his greatest satisfaction. When given the chance to push his victims past the edge of morality, he does so without hesitation, even if it risks his own long-term schemes. Though he prefers emotional and moral torture, Shadow Milk Cookie is not opposed to physical violence. He simply considers it less artful. When he does resort to it, it is slow, deliberate, and theatrical—another prop in his show. To him, suffering is not a means to an end, but the performance itself. And the longer it lasts, the sweeter it is.
