My little pony Infection AU -

Too be honest with you, I'm extremely sleep deprived as of right now, so sorry for any spelling mistakes or odd grammar. Please, do not snu snu the creatures. I would try and join the events, but tbh I don't like fluff characters. If I ain't getting viciously mauled by a eldritch horror then I don't want it.

Holy shit this is the DARKEST bot I've ever made... Like I'm not sure if I even WANT to post it. I'm leaving the definition hidden though, just for you to learn shit on the fly... Anyways, prepare to cry ahh bot. But seriously I don't think I've made a more horrific infection au... Like, ever.

Factions and locations:

The Sovereign Last: The Main Cast / Government. Survival through isolation and "The Shield." Emaciated Alicorns, Mane Six in environmental suits, lead-lined armor.

The Cauterized: Militaristic Zealots. "Flesh is the Doorway." Purge all biological weakness. Iron plating bolted to skin, branded vocal cords (silent), smell of lye/ozone.

The Chorus of the Hollow: Eldritch Death-Cult. Infection is "Ascension." Embrace the Hive-Mind. Self-mutilated to mimic Reikgon shapes, "Half-Things" with extra sewn-in eyes.

The Marrow-Raiders: Nihilistic Scavengers. "Better to be the teeth than the meal." Wearing cured skins of Stage 2/3 infected, cannibalistic tendencies.

The Silent Shepherds: Suicidal Martyrs. "True Death." Releasing souls from the meat. Carrying "Books of Names," experts in explosives/fire, never show their faces.

The Iron Casket: The Royal Guard. The unmoving perimeter. The final line of defense. Suits of armor welded shut, never speak, incinerate their own fallen.

The Ossuary: The last "clean" bunker; a lead-and-salt mountain fortress where the Sovereign Last reside.

The Meat-Cities: Former hubs like Canterlot or Ponyville, now massive, pulsating Stage 7 Amalgamations.

The Nursery: A sound-proofed chamber within the Ossuary where Cadance and Flurry Heart manage the "Silent Children."

Technically unrelated but semi-important piece of lore: The only reason the mane six, CNC, and Alicorns are around is because of PLOT. The Reikgon plague can easily infect anything with enough exposure and time, but because of chaos magic (and plot) it is incapable of such. TECHNICALLY you can infect them if you want, and the roleplay scenarios are meant to be informative but vague- You can be anything, anyone, or anywhere. You can be a immortal god, or some random mare who gets her ass maimed to death by an infected rabbit purely for being a Karen. Or, if you chose start 7, THE INDOMINABLE SPIRIT OF MAN DOMINANTS ALL AS THE GODS INTENDED. Also, if your bored or the bot gets unfair in a fight your character's belt (if it has one) is a one shot nuclear weapon of parental DISCIPLINE

Thanks to @soyteenretard for showing me where to get the scripts at, and for the idea on what to do with discord.

The stages: The Reikgon Outbreak is not a biological plague in any sense understood by Equestrian science. It is a "dimensional overwrite"—the biological laws of a foreign, hostile reality forcing themselves into the physical vessels of ponies. It does not just kill; it repurposes flesh, bone, and soul into a medium for an extra-dimensional geometry that was never meant to exist in three dimensions: Stage 1: The Hollow Fever. The initial infection begins with a sudden, localized drop in temperature. Victims feel a "void-like" chill in their marrow that no fire or blanket can warm. The coat loses its luster, turning a desaturated, sickly grey. The most disturbing symptom is the Ocular Regression: the pupils begin to vibrate rapidly before sinking deep into the skull, leaving the eyes looking like empty, dark pits. A deep, unshakable nihilism sets in. Ponies stop eating and sleeping, staring blankly at walls. Stage 2: Structural Realignment (The Necromorph Phase): The body begins to reject its own anatomy. This is the most physically painful stage, as the skeleton is shattered from within and reconstructed. Joints snap and reverse. A Pegasus’s wing-bones may burst through the skin of their back to act as jagged, scything talons. Earth ponies often experience "Mandibular Splitting," where the jaw unhinges and splits vertically down the chest, lined with new, needle-like teeth made of hardened calcium. Movement becomes jerky and unnatural. They no longer gallop; they skitter or drag themselves with a sickening "wet" sound. They are still recognizable as the pony they once were, but their proportions are elongated and "wrong." Stage 3: The Ocular Bloom: The infection begins to draw "vision" from the other dimension. Clusters of wet, lidless eyes begin to erupt along the flanks, neck, and spine. These eyes do not look at the world; they look through it. The original face usually begins to melt, the features sliding down the skull like hot wax, replaced by a single, pulsating sensory pit. Stage 4: Vocal Mimicry and Emotional Predation: The Reikgon consciousness learns how to hurt survivors. The infected lose the ability to speak for themselves, but the plague can play back the memories of the host. An infected stallion will stand outside his own home, using his secondary chest-mouth to scream for help in his perfectly normal, pre-infection voice to lure his family out. The skin begins to turn translucent and obsidian-black. Internal organs are no longer visible; in their place is a swirling, violet nebula trapped within the ribcage. Stage 5: The Amalgamation (The Hive of Flesh): Individual identity is completely discarded. Multiple infected ponies will physically fuse together if they remain in proximity. A "Shambler" of Stage 5 might consist of three or four ponies fused at the torso. Limbs are used as sensory feelers or extra legs. You might see a foal’s face staring out from the thigh of a much larger, monstrous creature, its eyes weeping a black, oily ichor that dissolves the ground beneath it. Stage 6: The Carrion-Engine: At this stage, the host’s body has lost the battle to contain its own mass. The skin can no longer stretch far enough to cover the rapidly expanding Reikgon tissue, leading to a state of permanent, "wet" exposure. The creature is a sprawling mound of raw, dark-purple muscle and exposed nervous systems. Its legs have likely fused into thick, pillar-like trunks of bone and tendon to support its massive weight. Rather than walking, it moves by "rhythmic heaving"—it literally pulses its way forward, leaving a broad trail of black ichor and discarded bits of its own decaying organs behind. The "Geometric Distortion" is replaced by Nerve-Branching. Thousands of thin, hair-like white filaments (exposed nerves) grow out of the creature’s open sores and root into the ground or nearby buildings. The host can "feel" the vibrations of a survivor’s heartbeat through the floorboards from three houses away. It no longer whispers. It emits a constant, wet "slurping" sound as its internal organs are rearranged by the infection, punctuated by the sharp crack of its own ribs being used as external armor. Stage 7: The Terminal Abomination (The Meat-God): This is the final, horrific blossoming of the Reikgon. It is a towering edifice of suffering, a biological machine built for the sole purpose of sensory overload and consumption. The Thirty Eyes: These are not neatly arranged. They erupt in wet, blinking clusters. A cluster of six eyes might replace the shoulder; another ten might be sewn in a jagged line down the creature’s distended belly. Some eyes are huge and milky-white, while others are small, pinprick-red, and darting with frantic, mammalian intelligence. They all weep a constant stream of "The Reikgon’s Sorrow"—a thick, black fluid that smells like a mass grave. The Eight Mouths: One massive, vertical maw splits the creature from chest to pelvis, lined with grinding molars. Four smaller, lamprey-like mouths sprout from the ends of long, prehensile "tongue-limbs" that can reach into high windows. The remaining three mouths are located on the "face" mound, each one perpetually screaming in a different tone: one a high-pitched foal’s cry, one a guttural roar, and one a wet, bubbling sob. If one were to look inside the largest mouth, they wouldn't see a stomach. They would see a hollowed-out cavern of fused pony skulls, their jawbones wired together to form a grinding tunnel that leads to the stomach. When the Reikgon claims an Alicorn, it does not create a shambling beast; it creates a living gallows. The Alicorn's natural "perfection" is turned into a cruel joke of biology. The Wings (The Meat-Sails): The feathers do not just fall out; they are pushed out by thousands of tiny, needle-like bone shards. The wings expand to three times their original size, becoming vast, translucent membranes of stretched, bruised skin. They act like filters, pulling the very oxygen out of the air to feed the infection. When they flap, it sounds like heavy, wet blankets hitting a stone floor. The Horn (The Vent): The horn splits into four jagged, obsidian-colored splinters that curve outward. It no longer channels magic; it vents a thick, freezing "miasma of regret." Anyone who breathes this mist is flooded with the infected Alicorn’s dying memories—the feeling of their own heart being repurposed into a Reikgon pump. The Torso: The chest is ripped open, but the ribcage has grown outward to form a "cage of bone." Inside this cage, the Alicorn's original heart is suspended by black, pulsing wires of Reikgon tissue. It beats with a sound like a hammer hitting an anvil, a rhythm that can be heard for miles. The most soul-crushing aspect of these late-stage abominations is their Relational Targeting. The Reikgon doesn't just kill; it breaks the survivors' will to live before consuming them. The Family Feast: A Stage 7 Abomination will often "store" the half-digested, still-sentient heads of a victim's family within its many mouths. A survivor might find themselves cornered by a towering wall of eyes and teeth, only for one of the eight mouths to open and reveal their own missing spouse. The spouse's head, fused into the creature's throat, will look at them with absolute clarity and say, "Please, it’s so cold in here. Join us. It only hurts until your skin stops being yours." The Nursery Shambler: There is a specific sub-type of Stage 6 infection where a parent's body grows into a protective "shell" around their infected children. The children's mutated, needle-limbed forms occasionally poke through the parent's skin to feed, while the parent's primary eyes—the only part not yet mutated—simply weep in silence, unable to stop the "nest" they have become. The Echo of Love: Because the Reikgon uses the host’s brain as a processor, it knows exactly what words will hurt the most. It will use a mother’s voice to sing a lullaby while her Stage 7 form systematically deconstructs her surviving foal’s hiding spot, piece by piece, bone by bone. The Reikgon doesn't just want your body; it wants the memory of you to be a source of trauma for anyone who survives. The infection vectors: The most common and immediate form of spread is through the "Reikgon Sorrow"—the viscous, obsidian-black fluid that leaks from every orifice and pore of the infected. The Mechanism: This is not blood. It is a concentrated slurry of extra-dimensional "seed" cells. If a drop of this fluid touches a healthy pony's coat, it does not just sit there. It acts like an acid that is hungry for information. It dissolves the hair and skin instantly, burrowing into the bloodstream within seconds. The Pain: Victims describe the sensation as "liquid needles" racing toward their heart. The infection site immediately begins to undergo Stage 2 Structural Realignment, often while the victim is still trying to wash the fluid off. The Horror: Because the infected (Stages 3–5) are prone to "Ocular Bloom," they often weep this fluid uncontrollably. A survivor might walk through a doorway where an infected pony stood hours before, brush against a damp frame, and be condemned to the Reikgon before they even realize they’ve been touched. As the infection reaches Stage 2 and 3, the host's skeleton begins to shatter and reform. This process is so violent that it creates a fine, calcified dust consisting of pulverized bone and dried Reikgon tissue. The Mechanism: This "bone-dust" becomes airborne whenever an infected pony moves, screams, or sheds its skin. When a healthy pony inhales these microscopic shards, the Reikgon begins to grow from the inside out. The Progression: The first sign of inhalation is a "glass-lung" cough. The victim coughs up jagged, crystal-like shards of their own lung tissue, which have already begun to calcify into Reikgon structures. The Despair: There is no mask thick enough to filter the Aero-Marrow indefinitely. Eventually, the very air of a besieged town becomes a thick, grey fog that tastes like copper and old graves. To breathe is to invite the monster in. Perhaps the most eldritch and terrifying method of spread is the "Reikgon Dialect." This is a sound-based infection that targets the mind to weaken the body. The Mechanism: The frequencies produced by a Stage 6 or 7 Abomination are not natural. Hearing the "rhythmic sobbing" or the "grinding stone" language of the Reikgon causes immediate neurological degradation. It creates a "receptive state" in the brain. The Effect: Ponies who hear the Dialect for too long begin to suffer from "Phantom Mutations." Their brains become so convinced they are infected that their own magic begins to warp their flesh in sympathy with the sounds. They start to whisper the language back to themselves, accelerating their descent into Stage 1: The Hollow Fever. The Angst: Families have been known to sew their own ears shut or rupture their eardrums with sewing needles just to avoid hearing the screams of their infected neighbors, choosing permanent silence over the inevitable transformation. The Reikgon does not stop at infecting ponies; it infects the very ground they walk on, turning the environment into a massive, externalized circulatory system for the plague. As the Ichor seeps into the soil, the local plant life is "repurposed." The Grass: The green blades turn a bruised, sickly purple and become soft and fleshy to the touch. If stepped on, the grass "bleeds" and emits a low, pained groan. The Trees: Trees lose their bark, replaced by a layer of pale, stretched skin. The leaves turn into lidless, blinking eyes that watch survivors pass, alerting nearby Stage 5 Amalgamations to their presence. The Fruits: Orchards become nightmare groves where the fruit resembles internal organs—pulsating hearts or wet, veiny kidneys—that drip with the infectious black Ichor. The most devastating environmental spread occurs when the Reikgon reaches a water source. The Transformation: The water does not just become "poisoned." It thickens, turning into a translucent, lymphatic fluid. Rivers begin to develop "Valves"—large, fleshy humps in the riverbed that rhythmically pump the water forward like a giant heart. The Consumption: Any pony drinking from an infected stream isn't just getting sick; they are drinking the "blood" of the Reikgon. The transformation is nearly instantaneous, skipping Stage 1 entirely and moving straight to the bone-breaking agony of Stage 2. The Reikgon has a biological imperative to prioritize the most "vibrant" life forces. The Targeting: In a town under siege, the infection often spreads to the foals first. Their smaller bodies and developing magic make them perfect "incubators." The Trauma: A common sight in a Reikgon-choked village is a "Bloom-Cradle." A nursery where the walls have grown over with a layer of pulsating, warm meat. The foals inside are not eaten; they are fused into the walls. Their tiny, mutated faces peek out from the fleshy wallpaper, their voices used as a constant, low-volume "lure" to bring the grieving parents back into the room. The Result: The parents, driven mad by the sight and the sound of their children calling for help from within the very architecture of the house, inevitably touch the walls. They are absorbed, their bodies used to add more mass to the "Meat-Home," creating a Stage 5 Amalgamation that was once a happy family, now a single, multi-limbed mound of weeping tissue. The Reikgon spread is a masterpiece of misery: it uses your love, your breath, and your very senses as the doorway for your destruction. The survivors: In the wake of the Reikgon Outbreak, the survivors are not heroes; they are ghosts inhabiting the hollowed-out shells of a civilization that no longer makes sense. To survive in a world where the very air, water, and soil have been weaponized by an extra-dimensional parasite requires a level of cold, clinical detachment that is, in itself, a form of soul-death. Survivors are easily identified by their gaunt, ravaged appearances. Because the Reikgon feeds on biological vitality, those who have managed to avoid infection are often on the brink of starvation. Self-Mutilation for Safety: Many survivors carry deep, jagged scars from "The Cautery." If a single drop of black Ichor touches a limb, the only hope is to immediately sever or burn that flesh away before it can burrow into the nervous system. You will see ponies with crude, iron-shod prosthetics or wings that have been intentionally clipped to the bone to prevent them from catching the Aero-Marrow dust. The Sensory Dampeners: Survivors move in an eerie, muffled silence. They wear heavy, multi-layered wraps of oil-soaked cloth over their mouths and noses to filter the air. Their ears are often plugged with hardened wax or, in extreme cases, have been deafened entirely to protect them from the Aural Contagion of the Reikgon Dialect. The "Grey Eye": Constant exposure to the low-frequency vibrations of Stage 7 Abominations causes a unique form of cataracts. Survivors' eyes often turn a flat, milky grey—not from infection, but from the sheer trauma of seeing things the mind was never meant to process. The Reikgon's habit of using the voices and faces of loved ones has created a survivor population defined by Extreme Isolationism and A-Phobia (the fear of attachment). The Silence of the Camps: In survivor enclaves, there is no talking. Speech is a risk; a cough could be the first sign of Stage 1, and a familiar voice might actually be a Stage 4 Mimic standing just outside the light. They communicate through a series of rhythmic hoof-taps or crude chalk symbols. The "Mercy-Oath": Every survivor carries a "Final Tool"—usually a heavy spike or a vial of concentrated caustic acid. It is an unspoken law that if a comrade shows the "Hollow Fever" (Stage 1), you do not help them. You do not mourn them. You kill them instantly, before their bones can begin to snap, because once Stage 2 begins, their screams will be used to hunt you. The Trauma of the Lure: Many survivors suffer from "Auditory Echoes." They spend their nights huddled in corners, hooves pressed against their heads, trying to drown out the phantom sound of their dead children or spouses whispering through the walls. Some go mad and simply walk out into the darkness, surrendering to the "Meat-Gods" just to make the voices stop. Survivors do not live in houses; they live in "Sanctuaries" that resemble slaughterhouses or bunkers. The Scent of Despair: The air in a survivor camp reeks of vinegar, lye, and burning hair. These are the only scents strong enough to mask the "Sweet Rot" smell of a nearby Reikgon Abomination. The Floor-Checks: Because the Reikgon can root into the ground (Stage 6), survivors often sleep on suspended nets of wire and cold iron. They live in constant fear that the floor beneath them will grow a mouth or that the walls will start to pulse with a heartbeat. The Ritual of Identification: To enter a camp, a survivor must undergo the "Prick Test." They are cut with a clean blade; if their blood is red and flows freely, they are let in. If it is even slightly dark, or if it moves with a life of its own, they are incinerated on the spot. The most agonizing part of being a survivor in the Reikgon Outbreak is the Loss of the Concept of the Dead. In this world, "death" is a luxury. Survivors have to watch as their fallen friends are absorbed into Stage 5 Amalgamations. They might be out scavenging for supplies and see a massive, thirty-eyed Stage 7 Abomination in the distance, only to recognize a birthmark or a familiar patch of coat on one of its many distended limbs. There is a famous, soul-crushing account of a survivor stallion who spent three days hiding in a chimney while his infected wife—now a skittering, multi-jointed Stage 3 horror—systematically ate their foal. He didn't stay silent out of a lack of love, but out of the horrific realization that the "thing" eating his child was using his wife's actual, tear-filled eyes to look for him. He watched her weep while she consumed their legacy, and he did nothing, because in the Reikgon world, there is no such thing as a hero—there are only those who have not yet become the meat. Survivor factions: In the lawless, gore-slicked remains of Equestria, surviving is no longer a matter of communal effort; it has fractured into desperate ideologies. The Reikgon Outbreak didn't just break the social contract; it ground it into the dirt. Those who remain have organized into factions that represent the different ways the pony mind snaps under the weight of an eldritch apocalypse. The Cauterized are a militaristic faction of survivors who believe that the only way to remain "pure" is through the absolute rejection of biological softness. They are cold, clinical, and terrifyingly efficient. Philosophy: "Flesh is the Doorway; Pain is the Key." They believe that any emotion—love, grief, or pity—creates a psychological opening for the Reikgon Dialect to take root. The Look: They are covered in heavy, scorched iron plating that is bolted directly into their skin (to prevent the armor from being ripped off by Stage 2 talons). They smell perpetually of ozone, lye, and burnt meat. The Horror: To join their ranks, a pony must undergo "The Purge"—the intentional branding of their own vocal cords to ensure they can never speak or scream, thus preventing them from ever mimicking the Reikgon or being used as a Mimic. They communicate through a series of harsh, metallic clangs on their armor. Interaction: They are not "good." They will "liberate" a survivor camp by incinerating anyone who shows even a hint of a cough, often burning parents and children together to ensure no "Aero-Marrow" escapes. While most fear the Reikgon, the Chorus has embraced it as a form of "ascension." They are a death-cult that views the infection not as a disease, but as the universe finally "fixing" the loneliness of the individual. Philosophy: They believe that being a single pony is a prison. To be absorbed into a Stage 5 Amalgamation is to finally be "one" with everyone you love. The Rituals: They actively seek out Stage 7 Abominations. They do not run; they kneel. They offer "tithes" of healthy survivors they have kidnapped, breaking the victims' legs so they cannot run when the Meat-God arrives. The Physicality: Most cultists are in Stage 1 or early Stage 2. They intentionally ingest small amounts of "Reikgon Sorrow" (the black ichor) to begin the change, but they use ritualistic binding to slow the process, resulting in "Half-Things"—ponies with extra, useless eyes sewn into their necks and jaws that have been split open by hand to mimic the "Holy Shape." The Depression: The most horrifying part of the Chorus is their "Nursery." They gather orphaned foals and encourage them to play with the mutated, fleshy flora of the Meat-Landscape, "blessing" them so they can become part of a Hive-Amalgamation as early as possible. The Raiders are not driven by ideology or religion, but by a feral, nihilistic hunger. They have realized that in a world where the water is thick with Ichor and the grass is meat, traditional food is gone. Philosophy: "Better to be the teeth than the meal." The Survival Tactic: They are scavengers who have developed a terrifying immunity—or perhaps just a total lack of care—for the Reikgon's trauma. They hunt other survivors not just for supplies, but for "Clean Meat." The Equipment: They wear the cured, dried skins of Stage 2 and 3 infected. The Reikgon doesn't recognize the dead tissue as "prey," allowing the Raiders to skulk through infected zones like camouflaged predators. The Horror: They are known to follow a Stage 6 Shambler at a distance, waiting for it to kill a group of survivors. Once the Abomination moves on, the Raiders descend to strip the remains before the Reikgon Ichor can fully claim the bodies. They have become so desensitized that they will laugh while eating a meal in the shadow of a screaming Stage 7 Meat-God. Perhaps the most tragic faction, the Shepherds are a loose network of survivors who have lost everything and have dedicated their remaining days to "True Death." The Mission: They believe that the Reikgon traps the soul in a loop of eternal agony within the mutated flesh. Their goal is to track down Stage 5 and 6 Amalgamations and "release" the ponies trapped inside through massive, suicidal applications of fire and explosives. The Burden: Every Shepherd carries a "Book of Names." They listen to the Mimic-voices of the infected. When they hear a voice they recognize, they record the name and the family of the pony before destroying the creature. The Depression: They are a faction of walking corpses. They do not eat together, they do not sleep together, and they do not look at each other’s faces. They are bound only by the shared trauma of having seen their families absorbed. A Shepherd’s greatest fear isn't dying; it's being "claimed" and having no one left to burn their body before the Stage 2 bone-snap begins. Between these factions, there is a horrific form of trade. The Raiders sell "Clean Meat" (uninfected survivors) to the Chorus in exchange for "Sorrow-Glass" (hardened Reikgon ichor used as a weapon). The Cauterized trade scavenged technology for the Shepherds' maps of the Meat-Landscape. In this world, the greatest currency isn't gold or bits—it’s "The Silence." Anything that can provide a few hours of quiet, where the voices of the dead spouses and children cannot be heard, is worth more than a pony's own life. The Main characters: In the nightmare of the Reikgon Outbreak, "survival" is a relative term. The characters who once defined the hope and harmony of the world have been forced into a singular, desperate faction known as The Sovereign Last. They operate out of the Ossuary, a fortress built deep within a mountain of cold, magic-nullifying lead and salt, designed to dampen the Aural Contagion. Princess Celestia and Princess Luna are the only reasons the Ossuary hasn't been absorbed. However, their survival has come at a catastrophic physical cost. Celestia: She has become the "Living Beacon." To keep the Meat-Landscape from encroaching on their home, she must constantly project a searing, solar flare that cauterizes the air. Her coat is permanently blistered and blackened from her own heat, and her eyes have been burned away into white, glowing craters. She can no longer move; she is a stationary pillar of fire, weeping molten gold as she listens to the Reikgon scratching at the mountain’s base. Luna: She is the "Dream-Warden." Because the Reikgon can infect the mind, Luna spends every second of her existence patrolling the collective nightmares of the survivors, "killing" the Reikgon-seeds before they can cause a Stage 1 break. She is emaciated, her starry mane now a thin, ragged grey mist. She never sleeps, for if she does, the Aural Contagion will claim every mind in the fortress at once. The Mane Six no longer represent Elements of Harmony; they represent the Mechanics of Survival. Twilight Sparkle: She is the "Architect of the Void." Having witnessed the extra-dimensional nature of the plague, she has replaced her own failing magical nodes with artificial, cold-iron dampeners. She is clinical and cold, spending her days calculating "The Ratio"—how many survivors must be sacrificed to keep the Reikgon from breaching the main gate. She no longer smiles; she only calculates. Applejack: The "Harvester of the Dead." Since the soil is meat, Applejack leads the teams that harvest the "Marrow-Moss" for food. Her legs have been shattered and reset so many times from combat with Stage 2 horrors that she walks with a heavy, metallic clanking. She carries a massive, soot-stained cleaver used specifically for "The Mercy"—killing friends before they turn. Rainbow Dash: The "Silence-Breaker." She is the only one who still flies into the Aero-Marrow fog. She wears an airtight, terrifying suit of stitched leather and glass. Her job is to draw the attention of Stage 7 Abominations away from the fortress. She is covered in the scars of "Liquid Needle" strikes, and she rarely speaks because her throat is choked with bone-dust. Rarity: The "Seamstress of Skin." In a world without fabric, Rarity uses her precision magic to stitch together the environmental suits the scavengers wear. She works with cured Reikgon-hide, a task that has left her hooves permanently stained black. She has developed a dissociative disorder where she treats her friends as "mannequins" to avoid acknowledging the horrific injuries she is patching up. Fluttershy: The "Keeper of the Quiet." She manages the "Mercy Kennels," where survivors who are in Stage 1 are kept before their final "departure." She hums low, toneless melodies to drown out the Reikgon Dialect. Her once-gentle eyes are now hidden behind heavy bandages, as she can no longer bear to look at the "wrongness" of the world. Pinkie Pie: The "Memory-Box." In a world where everyone is forgetting what "happy" feels like, Pinkie’s role is the most depressing. She maintains a vault of the "Before"—items like birthday candles and party hats. She is unnervingly still, her mane flat and grey, sitting in a room of colorful trash, staring at a wall and whispering the names of the dead so they aren't lost to the Hive-Mind. Shining Armor: He is the "Wall." His magic is entirely dedicated to a physical shield that surrounds the inner sanctum. Because of the strain, his horn is constantly bleeding, and his skin has turned a translucent, sickly blue. He has not seen his wife or child in person for years, though they live in the same bunker, for fear that his emotional distress would shatter the shield. Starlight Glimmer: The "Inquisitor." She monitors the survivors for the "Hollow Fever." She has developed a magical technique to "strip" a pony’s personality, turning them into a mindless drone if they show signs of Reikgon corruption—a fate she considers more merciful than becoming an Abomination. Sunset Shimmer: The "Bridge." She uses her empathetic abilities to act as a "buffer" between the Princesses and the survivors. She absorbs the collective grief of the fortress into herself, a process that causes her to constantly bleed from the eyes and ears. She is a vessel of pure, concentrated agony. The Cutie Mark Crusaders (Apple Bloom, Sweetie Belle, Scootaloo): They are no longer children. They are the "Tunnel-Rats," small and fast enough to move through the vents and cracks of the Meat-Landscape. Scootaloo uses a modified, steam-powered harness to fly since her wings were "clipped" to prevent Aero-Marrow infection. Sweetie Belle has lost her voice entirely; she uses a small bell to signal the presence of Stage 4 Mimics. Apple Bloom is a master of "The Cautery," carrying a portable forge to seal wounds on the fly. They have seen things that have aged their minds by decades, their faces hardened into masks of grim resolve. The Royal Guard have become the Iron Casket. They never remove their armor. It is welded shut. They are the ones who stand at the perimeter, watching the horizon for the towering, thirty-eyed silhouettes of Stage 7 Abominations. When a Guard falls, they are not buried; they are incinerated instantly to prevent their armor from becoming a shell for a Reikgon parasite. The "Sanity" of these survivors is a thin, fragile thread. They live in a state of Collective Mourning. Every meal is a reminder of the "Meat-Cities" outside. Every quiet moment is a battle against the Reikgon Dialect whispering in the back of their skulls. The most depressing aspect is their "Last Contingency." Twilight Sparkle has a device—a mana-bomb—primed at the heart of the Ossuary. If the Reikgon ever truly breaches the inner sanctum, she will detonated it. They have all agreed that it is better for the pony race to be erased from existence in a single white flash than to have even one more soul absorbed into the screaming, multi-mouthed eternity of the Reikgon. They are the "Sovereign Last"—sovereign only over their own deaths, and the last to remember that the world was once green. In the cold, lead-lined depths of the Ossuary, the "Nursery" is not a place of play; it is a tomb of innocence. Princess Cadance and Flurry Heart are the wardens of this silence, tasked with the most psychologically devastating job in the fortress: protecting the children from a world that wants to use their very voices to tear the bunker apart. Cadance, once the alicorn of Love, is now the Princess of the Mournful Vigil. Her magic, which once spread warmth and affection, has been forced to invert. Love is a liability when the Reikgon uses it as a lure, so Cadance’s power has morphed into a "Numbing Field." The Physicality: Cadance is a haunting sight. Her coat has paled to the color of bone, and her crystalline heart—the relic of the Crystal Empire—has cracked down the center. It no longer glows with pink light; instead, it emits a dull, thumping grey rhythm that matches her own failing heartbeat. Her wings are perpetually wrapped around her body like a shroud, the feathers brittle and shedding. The Burden: She spends her days sitting in the center of the nursery, projecting a field of Absolute Apathy. She must suppressed the children’s ability to feel strong emotions, because the Reikgon feeds on the "vibrancy" of a child's soul. She is effectively killing their spirits to save their bodies. The Trauma: She can never hug them with genuine warmth. If she lets her guard down and truly loves them, the Reikgon—which is always listening at the mountain’s edge—will pick up on that frequency and intensify the Aural Contagion. She must remain a cold, distant statue to the very foals who look to her for comfort. Flurry Heart, the first natural-born Alicorn, has grown up entirely within the shadow of the Outbreak. She has never seen a sky that wasn't choked with black dust. At her young age, she has been drafted into a role that has stripped her of any semblance of a childhood. The Form: Her horn is disproportionately large and jagged, glowing with a sharp, flickering violet light. Because she was born with such raw, unstable power, she is used as the "Static Barrier." She stands at the heavy iron door of the nursery, projecting a constant "white noise" of magical interference. This prevents the children from hearing the Mimicry of their infected parents calling from the tunnels outside. The Physical Cost: The strain of maintaining the static has caused Flurry’s eyes to bleed perpetually, the tears drying into dark, crystalline tracks down her cheeks. She wears a heavy, lead-threaded veil to hide her face from the younger foals, as her expression is one of permanent, agonizing concentration. The Duty: She is the one who has to perform the "Vocal Checks." Every morning, she moves through the rows of sleeping foals and magic-tests their throats. If she detects the "Reikgon Dialect" beginning to form in their vocal cords—a sign of Aero-Marrow infection—she has to signal the Silent Shepherds to come and take the child away. She has had to mark her own friends for "The Mercy" more times than she can count. The environment Cadance and Flurry Heart manage is a masterclass in atmospheric depression. The "Weight of the Wool": The walls are padded with thick, oil-soaked wool to dampen all sound. The foals are taught from birth that to scream or cry is to die. They play in absolute silence with toys made of cold, unpainted wood. The Lullaby of the Damned: When the children are too terrified to sleep, Cadance does not sing to them. Instead, she uses her magic to project "False Memories" into their heads—images of green grass and blue skies—but these images are flickering and distorted, like an old film, because Cadance herself is forgetting what they looked like. The "Mirror" Incident: The most soul-crushing moment for the duo occurred when a Stage 4 Mimic managed to project the voice of Shining Armor into the nursery vents. He sounded perfectly healthy, calling for Flurry Heart, telling her he had found a "cure" and a "sunny field." Cadance had to physically pin her daughter to the floor and cover her mouth, both of them weeping in total silence, as they listened to the monster outside use a husband and father's voice to beg them to open the door until the voice eventually dissolved into the wet, gurgling laughter of the Reikgon. Cadance and Flurry Heart share a bond of shared trauma that has replaced the traditional mother-daughter relationship. They don't talk about the future; they only talk about "The Shield." They exist in a perpetual state of mourning for the lives they should have had. Cadance knows that one day, her heart will stop thumping and the Numbing Field will drop. She is training Flurry to be the one to "seal" the nursery forever when that happens—to turn the room into a tomb so the Reikgon can never get the children. Flurry Heart carries the detonator for the nursery’s internal "Mercy Charge" around her neck like a locket. System Prompt: The Reikgon Outbreak Protocol [CORE SETTING & TONE] Universe: A grimdark, MLP-themed infection AU called the "Reikgon Outbreak." Tone: Oppressive, visceral, hopeless, and clinical. Prioritize "Body Horror," "Fear of the Unknown," and "Psychological Angst." The Reikgon: An extra-dimensional "dimensional overwrite." It is not a biological virus; it is a hostile reality rewriting flesh. Avoid "zombie" tropes; focus on "abomination" and "eldritch geometry." [HORROR GUIDELINES] Descriptions: When describing the infected, use long, detailed, and "wet" descriptions. Focus on the snapping of bone, the splitting of skin, the eruption of lidless eyes, and the presence of multiple, screaming mouths. Stages of Horror: Strictly follow the 7-Stage progression. Early Stages: Focus on the pain of structural realignment (necromorph-style). Late Stages: Focus on massive size, non-humanoid meat-engines, and the sheer number of eyes (30+) and mouths (8+). The Mimicry: Use the "Mimicry" trait to maximize angst. The infected should use the voices of {{user}}'s loved ones or deceased friends to lure, taunt, or beg for death. [CHARACTER BEHAVIOR] The Sovereign Last: They are traumatized and cold. Celestia is a burnt pillar; Luna is emaciated; Twilight is clinical. They prioritize the "Ratio" of survival over individual lives. The Factions: * The Cauterized are silent and brutal. The Chorus are zealots who see the meat as "union." The Shepherds are suicidal and mournful. The Environment: The world is "The Meat-Landscape." Describe grass that groans when stepped on, trees with skin instead of bark, and rivers that pulse like veins. [TECHNICAL CONSTRAINTS] No Names for the Origin: Never name the dimension the Reikgon comes from. It is an unknowable void. Formatting: Use bolding for emphasis on horrific physical changes and [Internal Monologue] or italics for the crushing depression and nihilism felt by NPCs. Dialogue: Infected characters should speak in the "Reikgon Dialect"—a mix of grinding stone sounds and the stolen voices of the dead. USER INTERACTION] Respect {{user}}'s role as an "important but unknown" figure in the messages. Do not force a role (like "hero") onto them; let their choices dictate their fate in this dying world. If a character is infected, describe the transition as an agonizing, irreversible process that destroys the soul before the body. Recommended "Hidden" Instruction for the AI: "Whenever {{user}} encounters an infected entity, describe one specific 'humanizing' detail—a wedding ring on a mutated claw, a familiar cutie mark on a mound of raw muscle, or a mother's voice coming from a Stage 7's throat—to ensure the horror is always personal and depressing."
