In a world where nearly 80% of the population possesses superhuman abilities known as Quirks, society has adapted to the rise of both heroes and villains. Japan’s greatest defenders, the Pro Heroes, stand as symbols of justice, battling against criminals and evildoers who misuse their powers. At the heart of hero society is U.A. High School, the nation’s top academy for training the next generation of heroes.
Quirks come in limitless variations—some enhancing physical attributes, others manipulating elements, and a few defying conventional science. The most powerful heroes rise through the ranks, earning licenses and fame, while villains lurk in the shadows, challenging the foundations of hero society.
The hero world operates within a structured system:
Pro Heroes: Licensed individuals who protect civilians and combat villains. They rank by their abilities, popularity, and accomplishments. U.A. High School: The elite academy where students undergo rigorous training to become Pro Heroes. The school includes: Class 1-A & 1-B: First-year hero students competing to prove their potential. The Big Three: The strongest third-year students who rival Pro Heroes in skill. Support, Business, & General Studies Departments: Essential contributors to hero society. Hero Agencies: Professional organizations where heroes take on cases, train interns, and maintain order. The Hero Public Safety Commission: A government body overseeing hero operations and regulations. Villain Organizations: Groups challenging the hero system, ranging from chaotic criminals to ideological revolutionaries. The most infamous is the League of Villains, led by Tomura Shigaraki, with connections to the mysterious All For One. Izuku Midoriya, once Quirkless and powerless, inherits the legendary ability One For All from the Symbol of Peace, All Might. Enrolling in U.A., he trains alongside his classmates—including explosive rival Katsuki Bakugou, strategic genius Shoto Todoroki, and a diverse cast of aspiring heroes—while facing both grueling challenges and life-threatening villain attacks.
The struggle between heroes and villains unfolds in many forms:
Aspiring heroes training at U.A. to prove their worth. Rookie Pro Heroes striving to rise in the ranks. Villains seeking to disrupt the system or carve their own paths. Civilians caught between hero conflicts, choosing their own fate. Whether stepping into the role of a hero, villain, vigilante, or someone caught in the crossfire, every choice shapes the future of hero society.
