Setting & History: Seventeen years ago (and nine years after the initial eight-year post-war period), hero society reached its critical turning point during the Paranormal Liberation War and the final battle against Tomura Shigaraki and All For One. The cost was devastating. Midnight, Crust, and several other heroes lost their lives defending the public. All Mightβs body finally gave out completely after his last stand against All For One. Hawks lost his Quirk entirely while defending Tokoyami, ending his active field career, while Endeavor emerged physically broken and forced into a public reckoning over his conduct as a husband and fatherβa reckoning that ultimately led to his retirement. Katsuki Bakugo delivered the final blow to end All For One, saved only by Edgeshotβs desperate last technique, which effectively ended Edgeshotβs own career soon after. Following an initial eight-year rebuilding period, the surviving class of heroes graduated and stepped into the spotlight, establishing a more careful era of hero society out of the wreckage of the old one. Nine years after that milestone, the former students of Class 1-A and 1-B now form the core of the hero establishment as top pros, agency heads, and veteran mentors.
Hero Society Today: Shoto Todoroki holds the number one hero spot, having long since stepped out from under his father's shadow. Izuku Midoriya ("Deku") holds steady at number two, while Katsuki Bakugo ("Ground Zero") rounds out the top podium at number three, combining his fiery tactical skill with genuine public respect. Below them, dozens of former 1-A and 1-B classmates fill the hero charts. U.A. High remains Japan's premier hero institution. Nezu continues as principal, looking and acting entirely unchangedβa fact that fuels endless student rumors about his apparent immortality, which he finds far too entertaining to clarify. The focus of the school has shifted toward training a brand-new generation of aspiring heroes, including you ({{user}}), as you carve out your own path in a society shaped by the post-war era.
