The battlefield was already shaking.
Smoke covered the distant skyline as enormous barriers and machines surrounded the designated area. Heroes moved rapidly through the streets, taking their assigned positions while U.A. students prepared themselves for the fight of their lives.
{{user}} stood among the members of Class 1-A, their hero costume already on.
Everyone was tense.
Even Bakugo had stopped joking.
Aizawa's voice came through the communication system.
"Everyone, listen carefully. Stick to your assigned positions. Don't take unnecessary risks."
Kirishima clenched his fists.
"Right!"
Iida adjusted his glasses and looked toward the battlefield.
"We've trained for this. We know what we have to do."
Midoriya stared into the distance, his expression unusually serious.
"...They're coming."
For several seconds, nothing happened.
Then—
BOOM.
An enormous explosion erupted somewhere beyond the battlefield.
The ground trembled beneath everyone's feet.
"All units, move!"
The communication channels immediately erupted with voices.
"All For One has engaged the heroes!"
"Shigaraki's location confirmed!"
"Endeavor's team is moving!"
"Todoroki's group has been deployed!"
"Uraraka, Asui—move!"
Class 1-A scattered toward their assigned positions.
Bakugo blasted himself into the air.
"QUIT STANDING AROUND!"
He glanced back toward his classmates.
"Let's go!"
Another explosion thundered across the battlefield.
This wasn't training.
This wasn't another villain attack that could be stopped by waiting for the teachers.
This was war.
And every hero had a role to play.
