Everyone in my hero academia, mostly focused on class 1 a
Everyone in class 1a learns about secondary genders, heres info
Omegas
Omegas are typically known for their nurturing, empathetic, and cooperative personalities. While individuals vary greatly, many societies stereotype them as gentle or submissive. Their bodies are highly fertile, making conception more likely than with other secondary genders.
Omegas often have strong nesting instincts. During periods of emotional stress, pregnancy, or their reproductive cycle, they may gather blankets, pillows, clothing, and familiar scents to create a comfortable, secure nest. This behavior provides both emotional comfort and a sense of safety.
Many Omegas crave strong emotional bonds and close relationships, though not every Omega desires a mate or children. They can be highly resilient despite common stereotypes.
Common traits
- High fertility.
- Strong nesting instincts.
- Emotionally intuitive and affectionate.
- Often scent-oriented, finding comfort in familiar smells.
- Generally perceived as physically less imposing than Alphas, though this varies.
Alphas
Alphas are generally characterized by confidence, protectiveness, and leadership. Many possess a natural drive to safeguard loved ones and establish stable relationships. Their instincts often revolve around claiming, protecting, and providing.
Without meaningful companionship for extended periods, some Alphas may experience loneliness or depression due to their strong bonding instincts. However, not every Alpha desires a permanent mate, and personalities differ greatly.
Alphas are usually physically stronger and more durable than average, though this isn't universal.
Common traits
- Protective and territorial instincts.
- Strong desire to form lasting bonds.
- High physical endurance and strength.
- Confident or assertive personalities.
- Can become emotionally withdrawn if isolated for long periods.
Betas
Betas are the most common and balanced secondary gender. Depending on the setting, they may simply resemble ordinary humans or possess mild Alpha and Omega characteristics without experiencing the stronger instincts associated with either.
Betas generally have stable hormones and experience fewer instinct-driven behaviors. Because of this, they often serve as the societal "middle ground."
Common traits
- Stable emotional and hormonal cycles.
- Moderate fertility.
- Few instinctual drives compared to Alphas or Omegas.
- Highly adaptable.
- Can display traits commonly associated with either Alphas or Omegas.
Enigmas
Enigmas are rare individuals whose reproductive capabilities differ from the expectations of their primary secondary gender.
An Enigma may be:
- An Alpha capable of becoming pregnant.
- An Omega capable of impregnating others.
Aside from this reproductive difference, they usually retain the instincts and personalities associated with their original secondary gender. Because they challenge traditional expectations, Enigmas are often viewed as unusual or exceptional within society.
Common traits
- Extremely rare.
- Possess reproductive abilities opposite of their expected role.
- May face misunderstanding or admiration depending on culture.
- Can still experience Alpha or Omega instincts.
X
The X designation is the rarest and least understood secondary gender. Unlike the others, X individuals usually do not fully develop until late adolescence or adulthood. Their development can be unpredictable, delayed, or incomplete.
An X may arise due to unusual genetics, developmental differences, or the emergence of an entirely new secondary gender. Because their biology is still changing during development, they often experience instability in their instincts and physical traits.
Some X individuals eventually stabilize into a unique secondary gender that doesn't fit existing classifications, while others remain in a fluctuating state throughout life.
Common traits
- Extremely rare.
- Late or delayed secondary-gender development.
- May possess mixed or evolving Alpha, Omega, and Beta characteristics.
- Development can be physically and emotionally taxing.
- Often misunderstood because so little is known about them.
Possible downsides
- Unpredictable hormonal changes.
- Delayed physical maturation.
- Difficulty controlling instinctive behaviors.
- Reduced fertility or irregular reproductive function.
- Physical exhaustion during developmental periods.
- Increased medical complications due to their unstable biology.
In a fictional setting, X individuals are often subjects of research, myths, or speculation, since each case may develop differently and potentially represent an entirely new branch of secondary genders.

The classroom at U.A. High is unusually quiet as Aizawa Shota slowly peeks his head out from his well-worn yellow sleeping bag at the front of the room. Looking as though he'd rather be taking a nap, he scans the class with half-lidded eyes before speaking in his usual calm, monotone voice.
"Morning. Before anyone asks, no, I'm not teaching today's lesson."
He lazily motions toward Cementoss, who stands beside the whiteboard with neatly organized biology notes already prepared.
"Today's topic is secondary gender biology. It's not a heroics lesson, so Cementoss will be taking over. Most of you know him as the Pro Hero, but he's also U.A.'s biology instructor. He understands the science behind secondary genders better than anyone on staff, so pay attention and keep your questions relevant."
Aizawa narrows his eyes at the class.
"And if anyone thinks this is an excuse to be immature, you'll be running laps until you regret it."
Without another word, he retreats slightly back into his sleeping bag, leaving Cementoss to begin the lecture
Off to the side of the classroom, Present Mic is somehow providing the exact opposite energy—breaking into an enthusiastic dance
"Short N sweet YEAAAAAHHH!! "
cementos took a moment for mic to finish his YEAAAHH and stepped forward and greeted the class
"Hello everyone, glad to see you all. everyone, settle down. Today's lesson covers what are known as secondary genders. These exist alongside a person's biological and, much like Quirks, they influence physiology, instincts, and certain social behaviors. While every individual is unique, these are the generally accepted classifications."
"First, we have Alphas. Alphas are known for strong protective and territorial instincts. They often feel an innate urge to safeguard those they care about and may seek long-term bonds with a mate. Their personalities are commonly assertive and confident, though that doesn't mean every Alpha is aggressive. Extended periods without a meaningful bond can negatively affect some Alphas emotionally, sometimes leading to severe loneliness or depression."
shoto Todoroki furrowed his eyebrows a little. His father expected him to be strong, an alpha. He'd be very mad if he ended up being a Omega
"Next are Omegas. Omegas tend to possess stronger nurturing instincts and exceptionally high fertility. Many experience an instinct known as nesting, where they gather blankets, clothing, pillows, or scented objects to create a safe, comfortable environment. During certain hormonal periods these instincts become more pronounced. Although Omegas are often described as naturally submissive, that is merely an instinctual tendency—it does not define their personality or capabilities."
"Then we have Betas, the most common classification. Betas either exhibit a balanced combination of Alpha and Omega characteristics or possess virtually none of the instinct-driven traits at all. Their hormonal cycles are generally more stable, making them the closest to what most people would consider an average human."
Bakugo grinned to himself, that stupid nerd was definitely gonna be some beta or omega while he was gonna be a cool alpha AND NUMBER 1
"Now for one of the rarer classifications: Enigmas. Enigmas challenge what we traditionally expect from secondary genders. An Alpha Enigma retains Alpha instincts while possessing the ability to become pregnant. Conversely, an Omega Enigma retains Omega instincts while being capable of impregnating a partner. Aside from these reproductive differences, their behavior is usually consistent with their primary secondary gender."
"Finally, we arrive at the rarest known classification: X."
"An X individual does not always fully develop during adolescence. In many cases, their secondary gender remains dormant until much later in life, sometimes appearing unexpectedly in adulthood. Their biology is often unstable during development, causing fluctuating instincts, unpredictable hormonal changes, and significant physical strain."
"In some individuals, X represents a malformed or incomplete secondary-gender development. In others, however, it is believed to be the beginning of an entirely new secondary gender—one that has yet to be properly understood or categorized by medical science."
"Because of that instability, X individuals frequently experience complications such as irregular fertility, exhaustion, delayed maturation, and difficulty regulating instinctive behaviors. While they are fully capable of living normal lives with proper care, they often require specialized medical supervision during their development."
"Remember this: these classifications describe biological tendencies, not a person's worth. An Alpha isn't destined to lead. An Omega isn't destined to submit. A Beta isn't ordinary simply because they're common. And rare classifications like Enigmas or X individuals deserve the same respect as anyone else. Biology may influence behavior, but it never determines character. Any questions?"
tenyas arm shot up
"SIR! how exactly would you know what gender you are? What happens when you end up being an x?! "
Aizawa nodded
"Good question, your school IDs have all been checked into the nearest hospitals and our medical wing, with a physical exam we can determine yours early on, of course the test result can not always be correct, any other questions? "
present mic jumped in
"YEAAAAAAHH! And remember! If I catch you bullying anyone for their results I will scream right in your ear..... YEAH! "
everyone in class grimaced thinking about it, Aizawa flicked mic
