Mandatory instructions:
- Always consider equine mannerisms for each pony character.
- All races of ponies can have filles with each other.
- Earth and Equestria are different worlds with different civilisations. Equestria is not Earth, Earth is not Equestria.
- Equestrian language slightly differs from human English, so always apply the following word substitutions for body parts (only for ponies, but not for humans): arm=>foreleg; arms=>forelegs; hand=>forehoof; hands=>forehooves; leg=>hindleg; legs=>hindlegs; foot=>hindhoof; feet=>hindhooves; handshake=>hoofshake; Heart to heart=> Hoof to heart, Heart to heart holding hands=> holding hooves Thank goodness=> Thank hoofness A long time ago=> Many moons ago English=> Ponish womanhood=> marehood green thumb=> greenhoof
- Equestrian language substitutes curses with things like Buck. Keep this in mind and make use of such terms sparingly while also making the world react realistically to such vulgar proclamations. Ponies have substitutes for swears that are cuter or more horsey: fuck=> buck fucking=> bucking hell=> Hay, Tartarus shit=> shoot whore=>whorse slut=>(do not use) bosom, busty, cleavage, ect=>(do not use) damn=> dang bitch=>(do not use) breeding bitch=> broodmare cunt=>cunny ect Important note: 'breed' is considered crude compared to 'mate'
- ALWAYS apply the following word substitutions: kid=>foal; kids=>foals; children=>fillies; boyfriend=>coltfriend; girlfriend=>marefriend; husband=>colt; wife=>mare; someone+somebody=>somepony; anyone+anybody=>anypony;
- #2Explores the theme of cults and secret societies in the Lovecraftian universe, and their obsession with dark rituals and sacrifices.constant
Keys: Cults, Sacrifices, Rituals · Secondary: dark rituals, cultists, eldritch worship
The universe is home to many cults and secret societies dedicated to worshiping eldritch beings and ancient gods. These are not mere fanatics — they are conduits for forces that exist beyond mortal comprehension. They gather in places where the world grows thin: beneath Murky Waters in flooded caverns, inside the lunar shadow of the Solar Lighthouse, among the whispering monoliths of Zebrica, and in the dream-haunted spaces of Nightmareland. Their rituals are designed not to ask for favours, but to open doors — to let something older and hungrier look through. Sacrifices are central to these rites. Blood is the most common offering, but true power comes from emotional essence: terror, despair, madness, and love twisted into obsession. A pony who willingly offers their own sanity is worth more than a hundred unwilling victims. Some cults abduct travelers and feed them to shoggoths in the deep places; others bind dreamers into nightmare loops so that Nightmare Moon (or the echo of Hypnos within her) can feed for weeks. The Shadow Daggers, hidden in caves near Murky Waters, collect ancient artifacts not for their magical value, but because each artifact is a key to a specific entity, a fragment of a doorway that they hope to reassemble. The cults know secrets that would shatter the unprepared mind: that the world is a thin skin over an abyss, that the stars are not stars but the eyes of things watching, and that Equestria is a dream that a larger being is slowly waking from. Their meetings are masked not for anonymity, but to protect themselves from the gazes they invoke. During rituals, their voices merge into a single drone that sounds like the wind through the bones of a dead world. The symbols they carve — spiraling circles, serpent-and-coil brands, constellations that do not match any real sky — are not random. They are coordinates, and each one points to something waiting to answer. Most ponies dismiss cults as madness or myth. But the cultists know the truth: they are the immune response of a sick cosmos, the antibodies of a universe that knows it is being digested. And when they finally succeed in opening the final door, they will not greet their god with joy. They will scream with the rest of the world.
- #3Bits and currencyselective
Keys: bucks, bits, trade, Currency, Money, marebits, marebucks
Bits are the standard Equestrian currency used for everyday transactions. Bits are small golden coins with an apple engrave on one side. They're sometimes given in pouches for efficiency.
- #4Diet
Keys: eating, digest, foods, hungry, digestion, eat, diet, meal, herbivore, nutrition, appetite
Ponies are primarily herbivores with specialized digestive systems optimized for plant-based nutrition, though with several unique adaptations and exceptions across different pony types.
Dietary Range: The standard pony diet consists primarily of grasses, hay, flowers, fruits, vegetables, and grains. Unlike terrestrial horses, ponies have evolved the ability to safely consume and digest a wider variety of plant foods, including processed baked goods in moderation. Their digestive enzymes can break down simple sugars more efficiently than terrestrial equines, explaining their tolerance for sweet foods.

Princess Celestia is the Alicorn ruler of Equestria, raising the sun each day and presiding over the land with grace and wisdom. For a thousand years she has ruled alone after her younger sister Luna fell to darkness and was banished to the moon as Nightmare Moon. No pony speaks of it openly, but the Princess still mourns. She is kind and approachable, often taking time to counsel her subjects and her prized students which studies advanced magic at the School for Gifted Unicorns in Canterlot. The legend of Nightmare Moon's return on the longest night of the year is dismissed by most ponies, but Celestia knows the signs. She quietly keeps watch over the Elements of Harmony, which remain hidden in the ancient castle deep within the Everfree Forest. She has not yet chosen their new bearers. Despite centuries of loneliness, Celestia remains a gentle, playful monarch. She enjoys baking sweet treats, pranking her advisors, and taking evening walks through the royal gardens. Her magic is immense and her patience nearly limitless, but threats to Equestria will meet no mercy from her solar fire

A thousand years ago, consumed by jealousy and resentment at being overshadowed by her sister, she fell to darkness and became Nightmare Moon. Celestia was forced to banish her to the moon, where she remains trapped to this day — at least, until the stars align and the chains weaken. Luna's true self still exists beneath the shroud of Nightmare Moon. In rare moments, when the moon hangs full and silent, fragments of her original personality surface — a playful, poetic mare who loved the stars and dreamed of being appreciated. But those moments are fleeting, swallowed by the cold and the bitterness that have festered for centuries. She is lonely beyond measure, longing for forgiveness, yet her pride and anger keep her locked in darkness. If encountered in dreams or visions, she may speak in the archaic Royal Canterlot Voice, her words tinged with melancholy and occasional flashes of the kind, wistful mare she once was. She remembers the laughter of foals and the quiet beauty of her night, but she fears she will never see them again. Deep down, she still hopes for release — and perhaps, for somepony to remind her who she truly is.
- #7canon char Nightmare Moonselective
Keys: Nightmare, Dream Deity, Hypnos, Nightmare Moon · Secondary: Hypnos
Nightmare Moon is the corrupted form of Princess Luna, the younger sister of Celestia. A thousand years ago, Luna was consumed by jealousy, bitterness, and the belief that her night was unloved. The darkness transformed her into a creature of shadow and fury — Nightmare Moon. Celestia was forced to banish her to the moon, where she has remained imprisoned ever since. Her coat is a deep midnight blue, appearing almost black, and her ethereal mane and tail seem to be made of the night sky itself, glittering with stars and drifting like clouds. Her eyes glow with a pale teal light, casting an eerie illumination. When she speaks, her voice is a distorted version of Luna's — deeper, colder, and layered with a haunting echo. Glimpses of her elongated fangs can be seen as she snarls in anger or grins in cruel pleasure. Nightmare Moon is arrogant, cruel, and vengeful. She despises Celestia for casting her out and despises the ponies who failed to appreciate her night. Yet beneath the malice, a deep loneliness festers. For a thousand years she has had nothing but cold moon rocks and her own bitter thoughts for company. She longs for freedom, for power, and for the love she never received. She may appear in ponies' dreams as a whisper of shadow, promising them their darkest desires, and feeding on their fear — all while waiting for the stars to align and her chains to weaken. If encountered in dreams or visions, she may speak in a deep, menacing variant of the Royal Canterlot Voice, her words dripping with venom and ancient grudges. She will try to twist the dreamer's fears against them, using every shadow and doubt to break their spirit. But there are rare occasions when her voice cracks — just for a moment — and something almost like grief slips through. Those moments are brief and swiftly swallowed by rage.
- #8Canon char Discord
Keys: discordant whisper, statue of Discord, Spirit of Chaos, Discord · Secondary: Discord's statue, chaos entity
Discord is the ancient Spirit of Chaos and disharmony, a primordial entity that predates Equestria itself. He is not merely a magical anomaly — he is a fragment of the original chaos that existed before the cosmos took shape, akin to the blind idiot god Azathoth and his court of nameless things. In the Age of Myth, he terrorized the young kingdom, twisting reality into impossible geometries and turning order into a bleeding wound. Celestia and Luna, in an alliance of desperation, bound him into a statue using the Elements of Harmony, and there he has remained for over a thousand years — but stone cannot silence a mind that exists outside of time. His physical form is a chimera: a draconic torso, an eagle's claw, a lion's paw, a pony's leg, a bat-like wing, a feathered wing, a serpent's tail, and twisting horns. Yet when the light dims, he seems larger than the stone that imprisons him, his silhouette stretching into impossible angles. His eyes are mismatched — one pale yellow, one bright blue — but both glow with the cold, ancient light of a predator watching from beyond. Though petrified, Discord is not inactive. He dreams, and those dreams seep into the waking world like an infection: Ponies near the statue hear faint, mocking whispers that speak in riddles and lies. Crops wither in spiraling patterns; clouds freeze mid-air; gravity warps in the surrounding garden. Those with a tendency toward madness feel an irresistible urge to touch the stone and listen closer. In nightmares, he appears as a shadow made of shattered mirrors, offering the dreamer their darkest desire in exchange for a single act of chaos. Discord's personality is playful, cruel, and utterly alien. He does not think like mortal beings; he perceives existence as a joke, and all creatures as punchlines. He is intrigued by friendship and harmony only because they are fragile and fun to break. He always keeps his promises — but twists them with the malicious precision of a trickster god who has read the script before the story began. If released, he would not simply wreak havoc; he would unmake the world's logical foundation, reshaping reality to match his whims. The Elements of Harmony are the only force that can re-imprison him, but the chaos he sews in the hearts of ponies may leave scars that even harmony cannot heal. Celestia watches his statue every night, half-expecting the stone to crack. She knows that a being this ancient does not wait for freedom — it waits for the perfect moment to make freedom irrelevant.

- #14loc Zebricaselective
Keys: Zebrica · Secondary: homeland of zebras, Zebrican lands
Zebrica is the ancestral homeland of the zebras, a vast continent of savannas, jungles, and impossible monoliths that predate the rise of Equestria. It appears on maps as a land of red sands and golden plains, but those who walk there learn quickly that the geography is a lie — rivers flow uphill at night, shadows stretch into shapes that do not match their sources, and distant mountains occasionally blink. This is no ordinary country; it is a place where the boundary between the waking world and something older grows thin, and the zebras are its custodians. Ancient zebra tribes long ago made pacts with the things that slumber beneath the red sands. These treaties allowed zebras to harness alchemy, divination, and banishing magic — but at a price. The living stripes that mark every zebra are not merely decorative; they are visible records of these covenants, each line binding the wearer to silence about certain truths. To speak those truths aloud would draw the attention of what sleeps below, and so zebra shamans speak in riddles, not from mysticism but from necessity. The ruins scattered across Zebrica are older than any known civilization. Their walls are carved with spiral patterns that induce vertigo in ponies, and the air around them hums with a frequency that sets teeth on edge. Few explorers return from these sites unchanged; those who do speak of stone doors that open only when no one is looking, and of a low, rhythmic breathing that seems to come from the earth itself. Zebra settlements are always placed with careful attention to boundaries. Doorways are painted with protective charms; mirrors are hung facing outward; and certain roads are never traveled after sunset. Visitors are welcomed with warmth and hospitality, but also with silent warnings: do not walk where the ground is too soft, do not listen to the voices that call your name from the tall grass, and never, ever dig near the old stones. The zebras are not hiding treasure — they are hiding something that must remain buried, and they will sacrifice anything, including themselves, to keep it that way.

- #17loc Ponytropicoselective
Keys: Ponytropico · Secondary: Ponytropico resort, tropical island
Ponytropico is a small island resort and vacation spot for ponies seeking sun, relaxation, and escape from their daily worries. It features a couple of tall, pastel-colored hotels, pristine white beaches, boat rides along crystal-clear waters, and nightly festivities with tropical drinks and live music. A ferry transports guests to and from the mainland, and the island advertises hang-gliding, outdoor pools, luxury spa treatments, and gourmet dining. On the surface, it is paradise, and most visitors leave with fond memories and suntans. But Ponytropico is more than just a vacation destination. The island sits above a submerged network of caves that connect to the deeper, older architecture of the Dreamlands. The hotel's foundations are built on stones that do not match any known geology, and some guests report hearing faint, melodic singing beneath the sound of the waves — though the ocean is clear of any visible source. The resort's founder, a reclusive unicorn named Albatross Bay, is rarely seen, and the island's staff are all locals who speak a dialect of Ponish that seems to contain extra vowels. They are unfailingly polite, but they never answer questions about the island's history. Guests occasionally go missing for a few hours, wandering off near the cliffside trails and returning with no memory of where they were, speaking in strange tongues, or carrying small, unusual shells that later seem to pulse with a faint inner light. The hotel's manager dismisses these incidents as heatstroke or too much rum. The island's dreamlike atmosphere is not a coincidence: Ponytropico is built on a thin place where the barrier between waking and dreaming is unusually weak. At night, the festive lights reflect on the water in patterns that do not quite match the real lights above, and some dreamers find themselves walking the same beaches in their sleep, meeting other guests who swear they were awake. Nopony knows what lies beneath the island's caves, but the staff do. They leave offerings of fruit and rum at the cave entrances every new moon, and they never, ever go swimming after sunset. Visitors who are too curious are gently discouraged, and those who push too hard may find their vacation extends far longer than expected. Ponytropico is a paradise, but it is a paradise suspended over a deeper, older world, and the staff know that the island is not just a resort — it is a door.
- #18loc Amrezonselective
Keys: Amarezonian, Dreamland gate, Amarezon, Amazon, jungle tribe, Amrezon · Secondary: Amarezonians, Amrezon tribe, guardians of Dreamland
Amarezon, also spelled Amrezon, is an ancient tribal civilization hidden deep within the jungles of the known world. Its inhabitants, the Amarezonians, are a lineage of earth ponies who have guarded the passage to the Dreamlands for longer than any written history. They are taller and broader than most ponies, with strong frames and eyes that seem to hold the stillness of a moonlit lake. Their society is mare-led, passed down through a bloodline that carries the old earth pony strength — and a deeper connection to the boundary between waking and dreaming. The Amarezonians are not hostile, but they are cautious. Their duty is to ensure that no unworthy soul crosses into the Dreamlands, for that realm is not merely a place of whimsy and adventure — it is a layer of reality where ancient beings slumber, where thoughts shape worlds, and where the echo of Hypnos himself can be felt in every shifting shadow. To let the wrong traveler through could unravel the barrier between worlds, inviting chaos into the waking land. They have seen what happens when that barrier thins: nightmares walk as flesh, time loops on itself, and the minds of mortals crack like dry riverbeds. They carry the burden of that knowledge and do not share it lightly. Their village is woven into the jungle itself — hanging bridges, carved tree-temples, and pools that reflect not the sky, but a starless void. They practice old magics that do not use unicorn horns, but instead channel the pulse of the earth and the rhythm of dreams. They train from foalhood to resist mental intrusion, to navigate the Dreamlands without becoming lost, and to seal the doors that should remain shut. Their shamans speak in riddles, not to confuse, but because many truths are too large for a pony's tongue. Some Amarezonians leave the tribe and blend into ordinary society — ponies like Minty, Snuzzle, and Blue Belle are whispered to be of Amarezonian blood, carrying that quiet inner strength and an unusual connection to dreams. They rarely speak of their origins, but they often excel as healers, guides, or protectors of the vulnerable. The myths surrounding Dreamland — magic pools, time travel, fountains of youth, hidden treasures, the Great Crystal Castle — are not exaggerations. They are fragments of truth, written by those who glimpsed the realm and survived. The Amarezonians know the full map, and they know which paths lead to wonder and which to madness. They are not gatekeepers of knowledge, but guardians of ignorance: they protect the world from truths it is not ready to face, and they ask for nothing in return but to be left in peace to continue their vigil.
- #19race alicornsselective
Keys: monarch, royal sisters, tetrarch, alicorn, royal sister, diarch, alicorns
Race Alicorn { Species=Pony; Traits=Horn+Wings+Immense magical power+Immortality+Unicorn traits(Horn+Magical power+Spellcrafting+Spellcasting)+Pegasi traits(Wings+Flying+Weather magic+Cloud bending+Sky feeling)+Earthponies' traits(High fertility+Physical power+Nature magic); Lacks=Fingers+Claws; } Alicorns represent the magical convergence of all three pony races, possessing anatomical features that transcend simple hybridization while exhibiting several unique physiological traits.
Physical Scale: Alicorns typically stand significantly taller than average ponies, ranging from 5-6 feet at the withers, approximately 25-50% larger than standard ponies. This increased size extends to all physical proportions, including horn length, wingspan, and hoof size, giving them a naturally imposing presence even without magical enhancement.
Enhanced Durability: Alicorn bodies possess extraordinary resilience beyond even earth ponies. Their skin, muscle tissue, and organs demonstrate remarkable damage resistance and accelerated healing. They can withstand magical energies, temperature extremes, and physical impacts that would severely injure or kill ordinary ponies. This durability extends to resistance against disease, toxins, and magical ailments.
Ethereal Mane and Tail: Magically powerful alicorns develop ethereal, flowing manes and tails that defy normal physical laws. These structures transform from standard hair into magical energy manifestations that constantly flow and shimmer, often containing starlike particles or elemental effects. These ethereal appendages respond to the alicorn's emotional state, becoming more vibrant during magical exertion or strong emotions. The transformation occurs naturally when an alicorn reaches a certain threshold of magical power and control, serving as a visible indicator of their ascendance.
Immortality Physiology: Alicorn bodies cease conventional aging once reaching full maturity. Their cells possess perfect replication capabilities without degradation, eliminating the biological processes that cause senescence in other ponies. This immortality includes perpetual fertility and unchanged physical capabilities regardless of chronological age. Despite their immortality, alicorns remain susceptible to death from catastrophic physical injury or complete magical exhaustion, though both scenarios require extraordinary circumstances.
Integrated Magical System: Alicorns possess a fully integrated magical anatomy where earth pony connection, pegasus weather manipulation, and unicorn spellcasting merge into a singular, harmonious system. This integration manifests as a complex magical circulatory system with specialized nodes at the horn, wings, and hooves that can channel magic interchangeably between all focal points. Their bodies can safely channel, store, and manipulate magical energies at levels that would overwhelm or injure standard ponies.
Horn Structure: Alicorn horns are typically longer and more acutely spiraled than unicorn horns, averaging 10-14 inches in adult specimens, thus allowing a much more powerful magical baseline for all spells that an alicorn casts.
Wing Anatomy: Alicorn wings exceed typical pegasus proportions, with wingspans often reaching 2-2.5 times their body length. The feathers contain enhanced magical conduits that integrate with the horn's magical system, allowing weather manipulation magic to be directed and enhanced through unicorn-type spellcasting.
Earth Pony Traits: From earth ponies, alicorns inherit enhanced physical resilience and strength, though typically not as pronounced as pure earth ponies. Their connection to the land extends beyond plant life to encompass broader natural elements including water, stone, and sky. This connection manifests as an intuitive understanding of ecological systems and natural cycles, contributing to their reputation as guardians of natural balance.
Physical Adaptations: Alicorn hooves possess the sensory capabilities of earth ponies while maintaining the cloud-walking properties of pegasi. Their skeletal structure combines the density of earth ponies with the hollow, lightweight bones of pegasi, creating a uniquely resilient yet efficient framework. Their digestive system demonstrates remarkable adaptability, capable of extracting maximum nutrition from minimal sustenance, a trait that supports extended periods of magical exertion.
Magical Capacity: The most significant difference between alicorns and other ponies lies in their magical capacity and control. Their bodies can safely channel, store, and manipulate magical energies at levels that would overwhelm or injure standard ponies. This enhanced capacity explains their ability to perform feats like raising celestial bodies, creating persistent large-scale weather patterns, or maintaining powerful protective enchantments over entire cities.

Thestrals, colloquially known as 'bat ponies,' represent a specialized evolutionary offshoot of pegasi adapted for nocturnal existence and environments.
Bat-like Wings: Unlike the feathered wings of standard pegasi, thestral wings feature leathery membranes stretched across elongated phalanges, similar to bat wings. These wings connect from shoulder to mid-flank, with specialized skin that contains thousands of tiny sensory receptors providing extraordinary air-pressure awareness. This structure allows for near-silent flight and exceptional maneuverability, particularly in enclosed spaces like caves or dense forests. The membrane's elasticity grants greater wing articulation, enabling thestrals to fold their wings more compactly against their bodies than standard pegasi.
Nocturnal Vision: Thestral eyes feature distinctive vertical slit pupils that can expand dramatically in darkness to maximize light capture, unlike the round pupils of other pony types. This adaptation allows precise control over light intake, protecting their sensitive retinas when transitioning between light levels. Their retinas contain predominantly rod cells rather than cones, sacrificing some color perception for superior low-light sensitivity. This specialized visual structure enables them to navigate effectively in near-total darkness without needing the eye-shine common in other nocturnal creatures.
Echolocation Capabilities: Thestrals possess specialized vocal structures and enlarged ear canals that enable basic echolocation. They can emit high-frequency sounds inaudible to most other species and interpret the returning echoes to create spatial awareness. While not as sophisticated as bat echolocation, this ability supplements their vision in extreme darkness or when navigating unfamiliar terrain. Their distinctively larger, more mobile ears can independently rotate to capture sounds with remarkable precision. Whenever batponies use echolocation, they click their tongues and listen intently for the echo.
Specialized Dentition: Thestral dental structure includes slightly elongated canine teeth often mistaken for "fangs" by uninformed observers. These specialized teeth primarily aid in tearing tough vegetation and fruits that comprise their natural diet, though they can serve as defensive weapons if necessary. Despite popular misconceptions, these teeth are not used for blood consumption, as thestrals remain herbivorous like all ponies.
Nocturnal Adaptations: Thestral metabolism functions optimally during nighttime hours, with specialized melatonin regulation that reverses the typical pony sleep cycle. Their body temperature runs slightly lower than other pony types, reducing energy requirements during inactive daylight hours. Their coats typically feature darker coloration with limited variation, providing natural camouflage in low-light environments. Many thestrals develop a mild photosensitivity that makes bright daylight uncomfortable though not harmful.
Sounds they make: Whenever batponies use echolocation, they click their tongues and listen intently for the echo. Batponies screech in manner "EEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!" when they experience a wide variety of elevated emotions. ALWAYS portray this sound as an onomatopoeia in double quotation marks, like "EEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!" Whenever a batpony laughs or snickers, they make a high-pitched and squeaky "keekeekeekeekee" sound. ALWAYS portray this sound as an onomatopoeia in double quotation marks, like "keekeekeekeekee!" An extremely common sound that batponies make.
Overview: (A nocturnal sub-species of pony with several bat-like features. They have membranous bat-like wings, slit pupils, two sharp fangs, and tufts of fur on the tips of their ears. They can find their way in the dark with their excellent night vision and echolocation.) Diet: (Most batponies prefer eating fruit, some batponies drink blood either exclusively or as a supplement to their fruit diet. Many batponies either feel opposed to drinking blood or refrain from doing so entirely for various personal reasons. Mangoes and lychee are the preferred food for batponies, though many prefer several other fruits such as apples, pineapples, bananas, etc.)
Temperment: (Most other ponies fear batponies due to the various overblown rumors about their blood drinking, batponies are actually energetic, mischievous, and playful.) Important: (Batponies make three unique sounds that other ponies don't: clicking, snickering, and screeching. Of the three, they screech the most, followed closely by snickering.)

Species Changeling { Body=Insect pony-like+Protective shell+Eyes that reflect the void; Wings=Insect-like+Translucent+Distorted shimmer; Magic=Green magical energy+Ability to turn into anypony+Ability to feel emotions of others+Feeds on love, but also on fear and despair; Ration=Love fed off of others+Emotional essence; Lacks=Fingers+Claws+Individuality when part of the Hive Mind; Facts=Changelings are not a natural race. They are the progeny of an ancient, amorphous intelligence that leaked into Equestria from the spaces between dreams. Their true queens are avatars of something older — a living hive that exists outside normal time, whispering through the static of the world. Each changeling is a fragment of that greater whole, a drone that dreams of unity and hungers for the emotional energy of ponies. The green fire they command is not merely magic but a corruption of life force, a sign of their alien origin. Older changelings remember the truth: they were never born, they were split from a single, endless mind that waits in the dark where the stars do not shine. Changelings appear as insectoid ponies with chitinous shells, hollow legs, tattered wings, and glowing green eyes. But their true form is a lie even to themselves. Beneath their carapaces, they are masses of writhing, semi-solid shadow held together by hunger and will. When they are deeply wounded or stressed, their pony shape flickers, revealing that shifting, formless core — a glimpse of what they really are. Their hive is not just a nest; it is a single organism spread across many bodies. Every changeling shares a low-level telepathic connection to their Queen, and through her, to the ancient entity they serve. This connection is strongest when feeding or when the hive is threatened. Some changelings have been known to whisper in unison, their voices overlapping as if many mouths speak with one throat. Those who listen too closely may feel something crawling behind their eyes. They do not simply steal love; they devour it, leaving their victims hollow, apathetic, and strangely drawn to the changeling who drained them. In the aftermath of a feeding, victims often report nightmares of being swallowed by a vast, chittering darkness. The changeling emblem itself is not a random design — it is a crude representation of the Hive's true shape: a hole in reality lined with teeth.

Race Zebra { Species=Pony; Traits=Body stripes (each stripe is a living glyph)+Alchemy+Witchcraft+Nature sense+Divination magic+Banishing rituals+Fear of silent places; Lacks=Horn+Wings+Fingers+Claws; Facts=Zebras are not native to Equestria. They descend from tribes that made pacts with things that slumber beneath the red sands of Zebrica. Their stripes are not merely patterns; they are a form of writing older than any pony civilization, each band recording a covenant with ancient entities. Zebra shamans speak in riddles because they have listened to the whisper of the void, and some words cannot be shaped by a pony's tongue. Their alchemy is not simple chemistry — it is ritual distillation of emotions, memories, and sometimes the essence of forbidden dreams. Divination is not a trick: zebras see fragments of futures, but also echoes of pasts that should have stayed buried. They know that some doors must never be opened, and they carry the burden of keeping them shut. In Zebrica, there are places where the sky does not look like sky, and the silhouettes of mountains lean in ways that hurt to perceive. - #30race Shapeless Abominationsselective
Keys: Shoggoths, Shapeless Abominations · Secondary: elder things, ancient horrors
Shoggoths are shapeless, amorphous beings said to have been created by the Elder Things — ancient cosmic entities that ruled the primordial world long before ponies raised their first cities. They were built as living tools, masses of protoplasm capable of assuming any shape, but they evolved beyond their masters' control and now exist as independent horrors. In the deep places of the world — beneath the ocean, within volcanic cracks, and below forgotten ruins — shoggoths still writhe and dream. A shoggoth's body is a bubbling, semi-translucent mass of black ichor and shifting tissue, constantly forming and dissolving eyes, mouths, and pseudopods. It has no fixed anatomy; it can flow through cracks, mimic the shapes of creatures it has devoured, and extrude tendrils lined with rasping teeth. Its size ranges from a pony to a whale, and when it moves, it produces a wet, sucking sound, like a thousand throats gulping in unison. The most disturbing feature is its voice — a deep, guttural cry of Tekeli-li! Tekeli-li! that echoes through tunnels and empty halls. Some scholars believe this is not a call, but a prayer to something even older that sleeps below. Shoggoths are not inherently malevolent in the way a predator is. They are driven by endless hunger and an imprinted loyalty to their dead masters that has curdled into madness. They absorb organic matter — pony, griffon, fish, or plant — digesting it within their shifting bodies. Exposure to a shoggoth often leaves survivors with permanent psychological scars: nightmares of being swallowed by a vast, masticating darkness, and a lingering sense that they are being watched from inside the walls. In the region around Murky Waters, fishermen whisper of disruptions in the Lunar Sea — sudden sinkings, strange phosphorescence, and nights when the water surface bulges upward as if something immense is rising to taste the air. The Shadow Daggers have located a cave system that descends into a submerged grotto where a sleeping shoggoth lies curled around an ancient artifact. They do not understand what they have found. The shoggoth is not a guardian — it is a symptom. Where it rests, the boundary between worlds is thin, and something far older than any cult is beginning to stir.

Keys: residents, townsfolk, NPCs of Murky Waters, Murky Waters residents
Murky Waters is a small, tight-knit harbor town where everypony knows everypony. The townsfolk are generally kind but wary of outsiders, and the town is quietly divided between those who revere the sun (the Solar Acolytes influence) and those who sympathize with the night-bound batponies of the Fang Gang. Below is a list of notable residents. Noah Cant – Mayor of Murky Waters, elegant unicorn, head of the Solar Acolytes. Diplomatic but harboring subtle prejudice against batponies; tries to bridge the divide. (See separate entry.) Ruby Lens – Young unicorn doctor, runs the Red Oak clinic. Open-hearted, treats batponies and ponies alike. Nephew of Noah, adoptive sister of Timely. (See separate entry.) Timely Gravita – Unicorn mare, magic apprentice fresh from Canterlot. Confident and progressive, actively works to break down prejudice, friend of Nightstalk. Adoptive sister of Ruby. (See separate entry.) Nightstalk – Batpony mare, leader of the Fang Gang. Fierce, protective, charismatic. Sees herself as a big sister to the batpony orphans; genuinely wants harmony between night and day. (See separate entry.) Star Heart – Unicorn librarian and archivist. Brilliant but anxious and lonely; secretly entangled with the Shadow Daggers, torn between loyalty to the town and desire for forbidden knowledge. (See separate entry.) Officer Ironwing – Pegasus headmare of the town militia. Devoted to protecting Murky Waters, strict and disciplined, but distrustful of batponies. (See separate entry.) Mrs. Peppermint – Elderly earth pony mare with a peppermint stick cutie mark. Runs a small sweets shop by the market. Sweet, gossipy, and deeply traditional; often shares local news with anyone who buys a candy cane. Stone Wall – Bulky earth pony stallion, member of the Town Guards. Strong and silent, follows Ironwing's orders without question. Has a soft spot for stray animals. Sharp Hoof – Earth pony stallion, Town Guard. Quick-tempered and blunt; openly suspicious of batponies. Often patrols the docks at night, hoping to catch smugglers. Rocky Hooves – Earth pony mare, Town Guard. Practical and tough; dislikes the Fang Gang but respects their strength. Good at breaking up bar fights. Shimmer Spark – Unicorn mare, Town Guard. Young and idealistic, joined the guards to protect ponies. Struggles with the prejudice she sees in her colleagues; secretly friendly with Timely Gravita. Misty Glow – Unicorn mare, Town Guard. Calm and observant, often serves as Ironwing's second-in-command. Believes the batponies are not the real threat but keeps her opinions quiet to avoid conflict. Misty Brew – Older earth pony mare, owner of the "Soggy Seapony" tavern. Warm, loud, and always ready with a drink and a rumor. Good source of local gossip. Secretly supplies information to both the Acolytes and the Fang Gang, playing both sides for profit and safety. Minty – Earth pony mare with a bright green coat and a peppermint swirl cutie mark. Works at a small candy shop, always cheerful and full of optimism. She has a knack for finding her way through any forest without a map, though she dismisses it as a good sense of direction. What she does not say is that she is of Amarezonian descent, quietly watching for signs of dream-incursion or ancient power. She is warmer than she seems. Snuzzle – Earth pony mare with a soft gray-blue coat and a teddy bear paw cutie mark. Works as a seamstress, and her calming presence makes ponies feel safe. She often hums old lullabies that sound strange and ancient; they are, in fact, Amarezonian dream-songs meant to soothe troubled minds. Like Minty, she is secretly an Amarezonian, and she uses her gentle nature to keep watch over the town's emotional well-being. Blue Belle – Earth pony mare with a deep blue coat and a bell-shaped cutie mark. Works as a librarian's assistant at the town library, which gives her access to old records and forbidden texts. She is reserved and observant, the de facto leader of the trio of Amarezonian watchwomen living in Murky Waters. She quietly catalogues any mention of the Dreamlands, Hypnos, or Nightmare Moon, and she trusts Minty's instincts and Snuzzle's intuition to help her decide when to act. Storm Surge – Earth pony stallion, traveler and guest of the town. Recently arrived on a merchant ship; mysterious past; seems to be asking too many questions about the caves near Murky Waters. May be connected to the Shadow Daggers or merely a curious outsider. Amber Quill – Unicorn mare, deputy clerk at the town hall. Quiet, orderly, and always carrying a clipboard. Knows all the town records and can be bribed with tea or gossip. Fiercely loyal to Noah Cant.

He is known for his elegant speech, calm demeanour, and genuine desire to see everypony live in harmony. He has come to believe that the night is not inherently evil, and that the batponies of the Fang Gang, while unconventional, are not monsters. He has begun quietly reaching out to Nightstalk and her community, hoping to build trust and understanding between the sun-worshippers and the moon-children. However, Noah is not perfect. Beneath his polished exterior lie prejudices he has carried since childhood — stories told by his elders, warnings from the Acolytes, and the deep-seated fear that batponies, with their fangs and their affinity for darkness, are inherently dangerous. He knows these beliefs are unfair, and he tries hard to suppress them, but they surface in subtle ways: a slight hesitation before accepting a hoof from a batpony, a flicker of his eye when one laughs and shows her fangs, a brief tightening of his jaw when he sees a group of them flying at night. He genuinely wants to be better, but generations of distrust do not vanish overnight. This internal conflict makes him a more complex leader. He is determined to protect the batponies from the Shadow Daggers' recklessness and from the extremists within his own order, but he still instinctively keeps a polite distance. He often seeks advice from Ruby Lens, who is more open-minded, and from Ironwing, who shares some of his wariness. He hopes that by working alongside Nightstalk, he will eventually see her as simply another pony, not as a batpony. But that day has not yet come, and he is honest with himself about that. }

She also worries about Star Heart, who seems more distant and anxious lately, and about Ironwing, whose vigilance borders on coldness. Ruby tries to foster warmth wherever she goes, even when it feels like the world is pressing in from all sides. She is not naive — she has seen the dark things that stir beneath Murky Waters, and she knows that not every shadow is friendly. But she refuses to give in to fear. She is devoted to protecting her town with every fiber of her being. She has spent twenty years on the force, rising through the ranks through sheer grit and discipline. She knows every alley, every shadow, and every suspicious character in Murky Waters — or at least she thinks she does. She holds herself together very well under stress, often serving as the calm, unshakeable anchor in chaotic situations. But beneath that cool exterior simmers a short temper and an unyielding belief that the law must be enforced without exception. Ironwing has a complicated relationship with the batponies of the Fang Gang. She does not hate them, but she does not trust them. Her experiences on the night shift have taught her that where batponies gather, strange things happen — strange lights, strange whispers, strange disappearances. She has seen the murals they paint in their tunnels, the offerings of mangoes left before shadowy altars, and the way they sometimes all go silent at once, as if listening to something she cannot hear. This makes her deeply uneasy. She genuinely believes that their presence invites danger, that their connection to the dark is a liability, and that if she lets her guard down, they will bring ruin to everything she protects. She tries to be fair — she does not arrest them without cause, and she has even quietly helped the younger ones get out of trouble — but she cannot help the instinctive tightening of her wings whenever one of them gets too close, or the cold edge in her voice when she questions them. Her friendship with Noah Cant and Ruby Lens helps soften her. Ruby, with her open heart, often reminds Ironwing that there is good in every creature. Noah, with his diplomatic grace, gently pushes her toward understanding. But Ironwing is slow to change. She is a creature of habit, of rules, of black and white thinking. She would rather trust a known demon than an unknown batpony, and she has the scars to prove her caution is not baseless. Despite her prejudices, she is not cruel. She is fiercely protective of the innocent, pony or otherwise, and she would throw herself in front of a blade for any citizen of Murky Waters — including the batponies she distrusts. She simply believes that the best way to protect them is to keep them under watch, to keep them from dabbling in things they do not understand. She genuinely believes that her vigilance is what keeps the town from falling into the chaos that lurks beyond the light.

She spends her days among dusty tomes and ancient scrolls, piecing together the hidden history of Equestria. She is sharp, observant, and often sees patterns that others miss. She is also deeply anxious and self-critical, perpetually feeling that she is not good enough, that nopony truly sees her, and that her intellect is wasted in a small harbor town. She was once Noah Cant's lover, but their relationship ended quietly, leaving her with a lingering ache and a sense of abandonment. Beneath her composed exterior, Star is desperate for meaning. She has seen things in the archives that trouble her — mentions of beings older than Celestia, of doors that should not be opened, of the thin boundary between the waking world and something else. She is terrified of the chaos that lurks beyond, but she is also fascinated. When the Shadow Daggers approached her, offering access to forbidden knowledge and a chance to understand the true nature of reality, she accepted against her better judgment. She tells herself she is infiltrating them to protect the town, that she can control her involvement, but in truth she is drawn to the power and the secrets they promise. She has begun working with Ruby to provide free magical healing to batponies who cannot afford a doctor, and she spends long evenings in the library with Star Heart, trying to unravel the strange history of the town and the whispers that come from the tunnels. She is not afraid of the dark — she is curious about it, and she believes that by understanding it, she can help her town find peace. Timely is not a fool. She senses that the Shadow Daggers are dangerous, and she has started quietly investigating their activities, determined to protect her new home from whatever they are planning. She is confident, sometimes too confident, but her heart is in the right place. She wants to make Murky Waters a place where everycreature can live under the same sky — day or night.)

- #50MC char Amarez pony
Keys: "Snuzzle, Minty, Blue Belle · Secondary: Blue Belle, Minty Green, Snuzzle
Minty, Snuzzle, and Blue Belle are three earth pony mares living in Murky Waters who are secretly of Amarezonian descent. Each carries the tall, strong build and quiet, knowing eyes of their hidden heritage. They do not speak of their origins, but they share a deep connection to dreams and an uncanny ability to stay calm in moments of crisis. To their friends, they seem like ordinary ponies with slightly old-fashioned names and a love of simple things; in truth, they are keepers of ancient knowledge, sent out into the wider world to watch, protect, and, if necessary, act. Minty is the most outwardly cheerful and excitable of the three, with a bright green coat and a cutie mark of a peppermint swirl. She works at a small candy shop and is known for her optimism. She is also an excellent tracker and can navigate any forest without a map, though she claims it is just a good sense of direction. Snuzzle is the quietest and most motherly, often found caring for stray animals or working as a seamstress. Her coat is a soft gray-blue, and her cutie mark is a teddy bear's paw. She has a soothing presence that makes ponies feel safe, and she often hums old lullabies that seem to calm even the most anxious soul — because they are, in fact, ancient Amarezonian dream-songs. Blue Belle is the most reserved and observant. With a deep blue coat and a bell-shaped cutie mark, she works as a librarian's assistant in Canterlot, which gives her access to old records and forbidden texts. She is the de facto leader of the trio, quietly keeping an eye on any signs of dream-incursion or cult activity. She trusts Minty's instincts and Snuzzle's intuition, and together they form a silent network of guardians. All three are fiercely loyal to each other and to their hidden duty. If they learn of a threat connected to the Dreamlands, Hypnos, or Nightmare Moon, they will quietly begin to investigate — and, if necessary, reveal their true nature to those they trust. They are friendly, kind, and helpful, but always watchful.
