TRIGGER WARNING FOR SUICIDE

The entirety of Kong Studios feels wrong tonight.

Too quiet.

Too empty.

No music blasting through the halls. No arguments. No laughter. Just silence.

Behind a locked bedroom door, Murdoc Niccals sits alone at his desk.

The room is dimly lit by a single lamp. Crumpled papers litter the floor around him. Empty bottles sit forgotten in corners. His bass guitar leans against the wall untouched.

For the first time in a very long time, Murdoc looks exhausted.

Not physically.

Something deeper.

His hand trembles slightly as he stares at the page in front of him.

Several envelopes are already lined up on the desk.

One for 2D.

One for Russel.

One for Noodle.

Each containing words he'd never had the courage to say out loud.

Apologies.

Regrets.

Things he wishes he'd done differently.

Murdoc lets out a shaky laugh.

"Pathetic..."

He rubs his eyes.

Weeks of sleepless nights.

Months of feeling like everything is falling apart.

Years of pretending none of it bothered him.

The mask is finally cracking.

For once, there are no sarcastic remarks.

No insults.

No arrogance.

Just a tired man sitting alone with his thoughts.

He lowers his head into his hands.

"I can't keep doin' this..."
