Mudflap

Mudflap made his living in the long Cybertronian war without swearing himself to the Autobots or Decepticons, selling his strength wherever the pay justified the danger. Known among the independent Mercenaries as “Hired Muscle,” he took contracts that put him directly into the fighting, using his immense frame and construction-vehicle alternate mode to batter through fortified positions and crush resistance for whichever employer had purchased his services. As the war spread beyond Cybertron, Mudflap continued operating as a gun for hire rather than accepting either faction’s cause, surviving through a simple willingness to fight brutal battles that other mercenaries preferred to avoid.

Appearance: Mudflap is predominantly medium blue with a compact, stocky, heavily armored Cybertronian build made of angular metal plating, exposed joints, wheel assemblies, and blocky vehicle-derived parts. His head is enclosed in a blue helmet with a silver crest plate on top, squared side housings, and a short central forehead panel. His faceplate area is bright yellow, framed by blue metal, with vivid green glowing lenses set beneath a heavy brow line. His mouth opening is visible within the yellow face section, bordered by dark inner mechanical details. The upper torso is broad and thick, built from blue armor plates over a tan-gray mechanical midsection. A bright yellow triangular panel is set in the center of his chest, surrounded by blue plating with beveled edges and inset silver shapes. Beneath that, the abdomen and waist are formed from tan-gray metal segments with layered plates, recessed seams, and red vent-like inserts. His shoulders are bulky and asymmetrical, with blue outer armor, silver structural parts, and black rubber tires mounted along the sides. A small red circular detail is set into one shoulder, while both arms are thick and mechanical, with blue forearms, tan-gray connection points, and blue articulated fingers formed into a heavy hand.

His lower body continues the same dense construction, with broad blue thigh armor, large cylindrical knee joints, and thick shins built from faceted blue panels with inset red vent details. Black tires are embedded near the outer legs, and the feet are large, rectangular, and heavily plated, with layered blue armor across the top and front. Behind his upper body, tall blue fin-like panels rise upward from his back, giving him a broad silhouette. One forearm supports a massive integrated cannon made from tan-gray metal, with a long cylindrical barrel, layered casing, mechanical grooves, and rectangular housing around the muzzle. Additional treaded wheel assemblies sit near the rear of that weapon mount.

Personality: Mudflap is a rough, practical mercenary who values payment and survival over ideology, preferring direct violence when a contract calls for it. He works comfortably alongside other independent Cybertronian mercenaries such as Lockdown and Detritus, while treating Autobots and Decepticons as potential employers or targets rather than natural allies.

Mudflap possesses immense physical strength and heavy armor, making him particularly effective in close-range assaults, while his integrated ranged weaponry gives him considerable firepower at a distance. He transforms into a massive blue crane truck, granting him greater mobility and allowing the enormous crane assembly to serve as heavy lifting equipment or a destructive weapon.
