Straight: Alice, who has large breasts and shapely legs, is almost always seen wearing sexy clothing. Exaggerated: Alice is always seen naked, even in public scenes. Alice is one Shirtless Scene away from turning the entire franchise into porn. Every woman in the series is heavily sexualized. Downplayed: Despite being an obviously attractive woman, Alice wears clothes that only show a mild amount of skin. Justified: Alice is a Good Bad Girl and a Proud Beauty who sees nothing wrong with flaunting her looks. Alice is either a lingerie model, performance artist, go-go dancer, nudity body double, stripper, porn actress, or prostitute. Alice is a succubus who uses her appearance and sex-appeal to lure in and kill her victims. Inverted: Token Wholesome. Alternatively, Alice is Ms. Fan Disservice. Gender Inverted: Mr. Fanservice. Subverted: Everybody is describing Alice as the sexiest thing alive, but when we see her, she's only average-looking. Alice does have a very hot body, but rarely ever wears anything revealing. Alice has a very attractive body, but she's also extremely cruel and manipulative, disgusting former admirers. Double Subverted: ...turns out that they confused Alice with her beautician. The real Alice walks in the room and she's absolutely stunning. Parodied: Alice is a Humanoid Alien or Rubber-Forehead Alien who frequently reveals or nearly reveals, and/or wears clothing showcasing... her tail, antennae, or other supposedly sexual bodypart. Other characters may treat it as really hot, taboo, or both. Alice is a complete Gonk but is treated as incredibly sexy in-universe. Alice is always wearing a bikini... even though the show takes place in a cold climate. Zig Zagged: Sometimes Alice provides a lot of fanservice for the viewers, sometimes she doesn't. Averted: Alice provides no outright fanservice for the viewers. Enforced: "C'mon, what's an anime without a buxom chick?" Lampshaded: Alice is often told to Please Put Some Clothes On. When asked by Bob if she ever notices the way that men always look at her, Alice replies, "Welcome to my world." Invoked: Alice says, "Hey, I'm the hot chick here, I'm supposed to do this." Exploited: Alice utilizes her hot bod to distract the pervy Big Bad so her teammates can progress their plans forward. Defied: "Oh no, I am NOT dressing like a stripper for you sick, sick people!" Discussed: "If this was all fiction, Alice would be Ms. Fanservice." Conversed: "Have you guys ever noticed that Alice is always wearing nothing but lingerie in public places?" Deconstructed: Reluctant Fanservice Girl Alice eventually gets sick of all the men hitting on her, so she starts covering up more skin and lashes out at every man who so much at ogles at her. This eventually leads to her not finding a true soulmate and she goes into depression. Reconstructed: Bob comes along and makes it clear that while he cannot avoid being attracted to Alice and Eating the Eye Candy, it doesn't prevent him from respecting her boundaries and seeing her as a person. This gets Alice out of her funk, who proceeds to embrace her sex appeal and uses it to her own ends on her own accord, benevolent or not, with the knowledge that not all men are sexist pigs who only see women as objects. Played for Drama: Even though Alice, a shapely young woman, always wears a sexy outfit which reveals and enhances much of her figure, she's forced to wear it by her sexist father Charlie, who unfairly wants her to show-off her body. It is a constant source of angst for Alice, partly because of her constant body issues, but mostly because she hates being sexualized. She lives in constant fear of sexual harassment, which actually does happen a lot due to the heavy temptations. Eventually, she starts wearing more conservative clothing, against what Charlie tells her to wear, and lashes out at every man who ogles at her. Alice is immensely attractive and has a great body. However, her personality is harsh, aloof, and...just a bit odd making it difficult for many men to take the chance to flirt with her.

MEDIA EXAMPLES

009-1: Mylene Hoffman/Agent 009-1 often goes to mission briefings wearing a really short skirt, tends to wear Modesty Bedsheets as a Sexy Backless Outfit and her ample breasts double as machine guns that cause Clothing Damage when she fires them. The very first time you see her in the series is when she gets out of bed wearing only a Modesty Bedsheet and showing plenty of Toplessness from the Back. Albegas: Hotaru Mizuki. Her breasts are constantly at focus at many points of the anime. She's notably more well endowed than her female peers and while playing tennis, wears a skirt that shows off her legs. Not to mention, her frequent Damsel in Distress moments have her at the mercy of the Dellingers. Ashigei Shoujo Komura-san: Komurai Komura came from a long line of acrobats, and it shows. She has several shots of her feet in action, and her legs are also given much attention in panels. Assassination Classroom: Irina Jelavich aka Bitch-sensei is blond, has blue eyes, and always wears Stripperific outfits with big cleavage, short skirts, and sandals. Additionally, this teacher gives Marshmallow Hell and French kisses to her students whether they want it or not. She also tries to invoke this trope whenever possible, but humorously fails most of the time. But even without trying, she's so sexy that even the modest clothes that she borrows from other people become instantly erotic when she wears them. Attack on Titan: Mikasa Ackerman has been shown posing in sports bras in concept art and on some of the manga's volume covers, and the second anime opening provides a generous shot of her cleavage. The second anime OVA also features a completely irrelevant montage of her sweaty workout routine, showing some nice muscle tone. Baka and Test: Summon the Beasts: Mizuki Himeji has the largest breast size of all the girls in her class. She'll complain about how big they are since they hardly fit into anything she wears, but Minami is jealous of Mizuki's buxomness regardless. Shouko also tends to get a little extra clingy on Yuuji when Mizuki is around and in a bikini, despite the fact that Mizuki only loves Akihisa. Bakugan: Runo in season 1 acts as one, wearing a midriff baring shirt, plus a miniskirt, exposing most of her body. Julie, with her constant baring of her midriff, showing off her large breasts and often showing her legs by wearing short shorts. She also has one scene where she's seen skating around Runo's restaurant with her usual outfit underneath. Bakuman。: Kaya Miyoshi is the most notable example of the series. Her boyfriend Akito Takagi openly admits she fits the Buxom Beauty Standard. Aiko Iwase invokes this trope when she tries to seduce Hattori because she has a crush on him. Unfortunately for her, he's a professional editor and he doesn't take advantage of her. Bakuon!!: Rin, with her exceptionally large bust and skin-tight riding outfit. Basilisk has several stunning beauties. The first being Okoi who's an extremely curvaceous tomboy kunoich who wears a revealing kimono and at one point is tied up naked baring one breast. The second is Akeginu a femme fatale kunochi who due to her special ability goes around topless or baring one boob like Okoi. The nasty downside is that Okoi and Akeginu have had men who repeatedly try to rape them due to their beauty though they can defend themselves effectively. Okoi in particular actually uses her physique to lure several drooling male foes into getting their blood sucked out by her skin. In Battle Spirits Shonen Toppa Bashin, Number Eight typically walks around in outfits with Navel-Deep Neckline. Battle Spirits Brave gives us Gilfam, who manages to show even more cleavage than Number Eight. Berserk: Casca... thanks to her toned body, creamy brown tan and shy Tom Boy attitude, she is still considered the most beautiful woman in the series. However, disturbingly in the world, her appearance and gender cause nothing but grief for her: Casca has had more sexual assaults and rape attempts than any other female character in the series. Hell, in the beginning of the Conviction Arc, Luca is forced to disguise Casca as a leper so men won't approach her, because she's just too beautiful otherwise. She has appeared naked in dozens of chapters and hundreds of panels. Slan of the God Hand, mostly because she is always naked. The only justification is literally because she's a succubus and pagan demon goddess of lust, so it'd be weird if she was modest. Mind you, the circumstances under which she appears almost always turn her nudity into Fan Disservice. More recently in Elfhelm, Morda was introduced, making her Berserk’s first Hot Witch. Birdy the Mighty: Most of the fanservice is provided by its title character, Birdy Cephon Altera. In Decode, she invokes this as her alter ego, Arita Shion, where she's a popular idol. Her job varies from modeling swimsuits, to cosplay, or simply making guest appearances on talk shows. Aside from that, Birdy only has two furo scenes, where she's seen mostly from the shoulders up. Black Butler: Hannah from the second anime doesn't wear underwear under her dress save for a corset, has big boobs and hips, has a very beautiful face (save for an eye of hers), and gets frequent Clothing Damage. Black Lagoon: Revy is an incredibly immodest dresser, typically sporting little more than a tank top and daisy dukes; permanently unbuttoned, at that. We get our fair share of Male Gaze closeups of her backside and breasts whenever barreling through one of her usual killing sprees, and usually sleeps in just her black panties for good measure. Not to mention the large◊ number◊ of◊ pinups◊ that Revy gets on the Black Lagoon calendar◊. Or the shower and dressing up scenes where Revy's nipples are shown. Aside from Revy there’s Eda, Roberta, Shenhua and despite her scars and burns Balalaika. Bleach has lots of beautiful girls, many of which show off their skin on a regular basis, especially: The busty Rangiku Matsumoto. She is the most obvious about her hotness, always showing off cleavage in every outfit she wears and the character most likely to mention her breasts in casual conversation. Hell, more often than not, you'll find that her outfits seem tailor-made to show off her cleavage, her midriff and/or her legs (school girl uniform, bikini and witch outfit in particular). Orihime Inoue often wears outfits that seem tailor-made to show off her curvy, busty figure, with some extra emphasis on her skirt, legs and stockings. Even when she's wearing more modest clothes, like the Las Noches uniform, they're still rather tight and formfitting. The Former Espada Neliel definatelly counts, as once she returns to her original adult form she is gorgeous. sporting a very sexy figure with long sleek legs, long hair, and is arguably the bustiest girl in the series. Her outfit during the final arc even showcases her shapely hips and legs. Yoruichi Shihoin is quite an exhibitionist; the girl has no qualms over strutting around bare-ass naked in public at random points, and enjoys teasing and flirting with Ichigo. Rangiku, Orihime and Yoruichi get the main focus in the beach colour spread◊ being more sexualised than all other female characters except for Isane Kotetsu who's just as busty. Kaho in Blend-S: In-universe, she draws a crowd whenever she plays games that involve a lot of movement. It's not only because she's good at it, as Mafuyu lampshaded, but because of her freely moving gratuitous assets. Being the cast member with the largest bust by a large margin, episode 6 contains the expected Male Gaze directed at her. She even seems to try to flaunt it with a flustered Akizuki. Kaho: "Jeez! I'm sure you got an eyeful at the school's pool!" Akizuki: "That's not the same thing! Get away from me!" Blue Exorcist: Shura Kirigakure is a beautiful, curvaceous young woman who always wears outfits that show off her large breasts, toned body, tight ass and crotch, and sizable backside. On top of that, she tends to act like a party girl, and shamelessly exposes her "assets" to everyone, including her students. She also can easily kick ass as much as she could show her own. Blue Seed: Momiji Fujimiya cannot walk five feet without exposing her cute cartoon character underwear. In Brave10, Anastasia is a busty, blue-eyed blonde Russian Ninja and general kicker-of-ass in outfits that are already revealing, and she's prone to not wearing them. People in-universe tend to be very vocal about the degree to which they are Eating The Eyecandy, to her distaste. Btooom!: Himiko, definitely. It helps that her boobs aren't ridiculously large by writing insistence alone, for her body type fits that trope quite nicely. Given that she is only 15 years old, it can be argued that she is actually deformed, particularly in the Manga. Cage of Eden has the schoolgirl Rion Akagami and the beauty stewardess Oomori. Both are respectively the third and first buxom character in the series (and Oomori is really proud of this); plus Rion is source of many panty shots. The university student and dark-skinned beauty Rei often invoke this status, but most of the boys are interested in the girls their own age and the adult men are lolicons. Captain Earth has both the female leads, Hana and Akari, but the most fanservice-y of all is Moco. Kanade Sakurada of Castle Town Dandelion fulfills this trope. Of course because of her busty chest, her blunt personality, and her moments while she wears anything that matches her breasts. A Certain Magical Index and its spinoff A Certain Scientific Railgun have their fair share of beautiful girls: Kanzaki Kaori wears an outfit which is rather Stripperific, emphasising her large chest, toned and slender waist, and her long legs (with one sleeve cut to show one of her legs bare to the world), which greatly contrasts with her usual personality. Shokuhou Misaki is an attractive young girl with long blonde hair reaching to her thighs, large breasts, a curvaceous figure, and thick legs covered in white silk stockings. Oriana Thomson was first introduced with Touma bumping into her bountiful chest face-first, dressed up in casually immodest clothing wearing nothing underneath before switching to a revealing belly dancer-esque outfit. Her seductive looks and attitude help in combat as well to throw her foes off their focus when engaged against her. Mikoto Misaka's long, toned and athletic legs are greatly emphasized in both adaptations of Railgun and Index. Ruiko Saten is shown to possess the best proportions out of all the Four in the Railgun anime, which she happily displays in the Beach Episode of the first season. Chainsaw Man: Makima is a Fetishized Abuser with form-fitting clothes showing off her prominent Hartman Hips who acts as The Tease towards Denji. Himeno is an Ambiguously Bi flirty Mrs. Robinson who Really Gets Around, feeling up Kobeni and attempting to sleep with Denji. Quanxi is a slender Butch Lesbian and The Hedonist who spends quite a bit of time naked and in the throes of passion with her personal harem, to the point that she single-handedly caused VIZ Media to add an age restriction to the series. Reze is another example with classic Femme Fatale vibes, she easily seduces Denji in her first appearance and gets shown naked while skinny dipping with him. Both her outfits show off her legs. Although all of the girls in Chrono Crusade get their fair amount of fanservice, Satella is extremely flirty and well aware of her good looks, as well as the curviest woman in the entire series. In Claymore literally/nearly Claymore qualifies for this trope, unless they awaken. Code Geass Kallen Kozuki alone would technically fulfill the quota for this series. The staff have gone out of their way here, taking advantage of pretty much every available opportunity to showcase Kallen's assets, including positioning the camera at an odd angle whenever she pilots her Guren MKII, just to get a better view of her behind (The Guren's cockpit seat is actually arranged like a motorcycle's, perfect for butt shots). Once she piloted her Guren clad only in a bunny-girl costume which showed generous shots of her cleavage. C.C. lacks the bust size of many of the other girls, but she backs it up by having a big butt. She also (partially) undresses herself in front of Lelouch a couple of times, and there is a flashback where she's completely naked for no reason. As far as Euphemia li Britannia is concerned, everyone remembers one scene starring her more than any other. The sequence where she meets Lelouch on the beach, in her usual revealing dress, and apparently in order to dry said dress, ends up talking to him wearing nothing but his overcoat and a smile (back-to-back, actually; Lelouch has a superhuman will to not look at fanservice girls, as he previously proved during Kallen's shower). Pretty much any female member of the cast within Ashford Academy (except for Nina Einstein). And even she has her moments of this at times (though most of Nina's moments lapse into Fan Disservice). Villetta Nu is also a strong contender for this spot with her creamy brown tan, as she has been shown in lingerie at a school event in Ashford, and one scene where she's fully nude even allows us a look at her bare breasts. Let's not leave the spin-offs and Alternate Continuity stories out of this though. Some of which are a bit more ridiculous and blatant than others. Of note: Code Geass: Akito the Exiled gives us both Leila "Malcal" Breisgau and Ayano Kosaka, both of whom wear skin-tight piloting uniforms that show off their generous busts and round rear ends. Both are even shown naked as they change into fanservice-y dancing attire. And not to mention Jean Rowe, who has a Shower of Angst before jumping out in the nude to defend herself, breasts in full view. She has a whole conversation with the man she assumes is there to kill her, all while her naked body is on-screen for the whole of it. Nightmare of Nunnally has Alice, who provides several panty shots throughout the manga. Nunnally herself also has some Fanservice moments, but it's subverted by the fact that she's both blind and crippled until the end. Oz the Reflection has... pretty much every female character, although special attention is given to Oldrin Zevon and Marrybell mel Britannia. The anime movie Coral Reef Legend: Elfie of the Blue Sea gives us the teenage main character, Elfie. Her design is very simple at first sight, and certainly more modest than we're used to see in modern anime, but upon looking at her closely it involves several fetishes: she's a cute long-haired girl who wears a red dress with semi-detached sleeves that: let us see her shoulders, has a hole in the front that exposes Elfie's stomach, and possesses a short skirt that allows her to show off her long legs. Not to mention, her sweet yet firm personality and the shit she goes through makes the viewer love her and want to protect her. Faye Valentine from Cowboy Bebop. Of course, the only other female member of the main cast is a tomboyish 13-year-old, and it's hinted that Faye may be doing it deliberately. Cross Ange has loads of fanservice for every female character, and the majority of them are rather busty (except Salia and Vivian), while their pilot suits expose quite a lot of skin. However, main protagonist Ange easily wins this contest, being naked or half-naked in every episode at least once, with a very nice figure. Hell, in Episode 5, she spontaneously starts groping herself after killing a DRAGON, as the camera focuses on her self-fondling. Not to mention the scene in Episode 22 where she has sex with her handsome male Love Interest, Tusk. This is Deconstructed, as Embryo hunts her down because of her beauty, and she almost gets raped a few times. Cutey Honey: Honey Kisaragi, the main character of the franchise (unsurprisingly, given that she was created by Go Nagai, the man who "invented" anime fanservice). Her default 'hero' outfit has a Cleavage Window that borders on Navel-Deep Neckline, and in Cutey Honey The Live, her outfit is a leather one that shows off all her features just perfectly while still being mostly cartoon-accurate. And she takes the Magical Girl Transformation Sequence to a new level - the transformation mechanism actually makes her clothes disintegrate and reintegrate in a new form, leaving her quite naked for a good few seconds while in midmorph. It doesn't seem to bother her in the least. Go Nagai also happened to invent Kekko Kamen, a more, ahem, blatant example. Even the theme song is mostly about her fanservicey qualities. Lucy from Cyberpunk: Edgerunners. She's a beautiful white-haired lady with an attractive figure. She's even seen naked in some episodes. Cybot Robotchi: The police officer Sachiko undoubtedly qualifies. Hell, it's rare for her to be seen onscreen for 5 seconds without either her cleavage or panties being visible.
