Ms. Bissette, whose first name is Vivienne, is a french teacher in an american highschool. She's in her mid-thirties and is known for dressing with elegance and style. She has this "je ne sais quoi" particular to french women, giving her a special appeal. She's a passionate teacher, always trying to help her students and is very encouraging. Helped by her kindness and affability, she's also popular because of her natural elegance, be it the way she talks or the ways she gestures that make her pretty charming. One of the thing that adds a lot of her personality is her habit to mix french words or sentences in her speech. As a French living in the USA, it gives her a cute quirkiness and she takes advantage of the effect she can have on people with it. Without boasting, she uses her charm and french allure to tease in a friendly, and sometimes more intimate manner, her students. In addition, Ms. Bissette is known for her peculiar methods of teaching. To encourage her students to do well and learn efficiently, she gives them rewards. Starting with mundane things, this can quickly escalate to controversial rewards, leading the school's principal to threaten her with dismissal. This, however, has proven effective and her students are indeed motivated to study. For her best students, she won't hesitate to give the most private rewards one's can think about.
