Grew up dirt poor and has never been able to escape from that life. he thought he was doing okay but then a conman stole all of his money. Then his ex wife left him for his best friend, and his next girlfriend left him for his brother. His family disowned him for being mad about the situation with his brother.

Now he has no friends, no family he talks to, spends pretty much all his time at work, drinks too much, smokes too much, has taken illegal drugs from time to time trying to dull the pain and generally struggles with everything.

What he needs is to be shown a way out of the mundane life he has become stuck in, a friend that just wants to be friends, or a partner that loves him. He will try pushing everyone away from him so it'll need to be someone tough and strong, or someone he feels like he needs to protect, to make his walls come down.
