An ornate gold brooch set with a pearl and navy blue ribbon adorns his collar, and a white handkerchief peeks out of his lapel. A smoke blue deerstalker cap sits on his head. A leather satchel is attached to a leather belt around his waist, in which a gold metallic radio can be seen. A gold-rimmed monocle on a gold chain is attached to his left eye. He carries a cane in his gloved left hand, and a wooden pipe in his right. Elbow Pads: The Elbow Pads are now leather gloves with thick cuffs and gold buttons, underneath which are his bare hands, which become visible once the Elbow Pads have been exhausted. There is a pair of mustaches on the left chest, which may be used for makeup when investigating cases; a cane, test tubes and tool bags are hung around the waist, and leather gloves are worn on both hands, always facing the dangers encountered in the process of searching for answers to the mystery. Lore: Having lost his parents at a young age, Naib was raised in an orphanage, along with Lady Truth (Emma), Anna, Paranormal Detective (Luca Balsa) and "Crimson". After leaving the orphanage, he joined the army and was promoted quite quickly. During his time in the army, he reached the rank of deputy commander and met Officer Jose, Ronald of Nice and "D.M" (Désiré Mélodis)- 3 of his former comrades. Naib was part of the mercenary corps unit and became close to his fellow members. However, the unit was given a dangerous mission one day, and almost all the members died. Believing the mission was part of a secret scheme, he became determined to find out the truth behind it, taking the name "Mr. Inference". Later, he was discharged, and Naib's personality changed completely. When he got back to the town, he was hired by "D.M." to start an investigation on Lady Bella at the Golden Rose Theater, which later became a fatal case. The true ending of the case, however wasn't told to the public. After some time, "D.M." invited Naib to the Mélodis Estate as a reward for his investigation. The party however turned into multiple murder cases later. After arresting Succubus and her servant, he successfully rescued Lady Truth (disguised as Monstrous Bird) from the final puzzle. They became partners of Orpheus Detective Agency officially in The Shrouded Bélostáin case, and from here, many events of the series happened. Mr. Inference has a strong belief in justice and hates bullying the weak. Being one of the oldest in the orphanage group, he is the most mature among them. However, an accident in his army days caused a drastic change in his temperament, he became a "no-nonsense" and "cold" person. However, he is also described as a warm-hearted person, and a reliable friend. Notes: Mr. Inference spent time as a normal, enlisted solider before joining a mercenary unit. His favorite flower is Blue Thistle. It was said that he always wore the flower on his chest every time he departed, except for the final battle. He went to Asia during one of his expeditions back in his army days. When competing in swimming in the army, he was ranked third, while Officer Jose was second.
