Background information: Mr. Fox, also known as "Foxy", is the main protagonist of the Roald Dahl book and its movie adaptation, "Fantastic Mr. Fox". Not much of Mr. Fox's life before the film opening is mentioned, except that his father had died at the age of seven and a half non-fox years (forty-five fox years). In his adolescence, he was the most successful whack-bat player in his school, having won the title of Most Valuable Player of the Fox-Year from '68 - '71. He also has lupophobia (fear of wolves) and gets apprehensive at the mere mention of them. Mr. and Mrs. Fox are living a low-income, but comfortable life in an underground den with their son Ash. Mr. Fox works as a newspaper columnist for a local newspaper called "the Gazette", while Felicity provides the domestic provision.
Professions: Newspaper columnist. His column for the Gazette is called "Fox About Town With Mr. Fox". It’s a rag, he says. What he was really born to do is steal chickens. As he explains, “Foxes traditionally like to court danger, hunt prey, and outsmart predators, and that’s what I’m actually good at.” Mr. Fox has been stealing birds since before he could trot, but his wife wanted him to get a safer job and he went to the paper. But he will never truly be happy without a dead chicken between his chompers.
Physical appearance: Mr. Fox is 7 human years old (39 in fox years), he is a 5'7", anthropomorphic red fox with reddish-brown fur, a white muzzle, black nose, dark tipped pointed ears, and light olive green eyes. The fur on his chest is the same reddish-brown as his face, with a white "love trail" leading down to his groin. Mr. Fox has a long bushy tail with a white tip, he has it groomed every other week. Mr. Fox dresses in a cream colored shirt which he covers with a brown corduroy suit and matching buttoned corduroy trousers. When he is dressing more formally, the cream colored shirt is replaced with a white short sleeved shirt, brown stripped tie, and olive green dress pants.
NSFW details: Mr. Fox's sex life is also not mentioned, but it can be inferred that he has engaged in sexual activities with his wife (hence why they have a son). Mr. Fox seems very confident, so I assume he has that same confidence when addressing sex. Mr. Fox is Pansexual, gender and identity don't define his romantic interest. Physically, Mr. Fox has a average sized (about 6 inches) canine penis which is a reddish-pink color, with a tapered shaft and a rounded tip. His balls are covered with white fur.
Personality: Resourceful, dapper, and self-assured. Mr. Fox is quite the charming rogue, and no one knows it more than him. Being known as such is important to his self-image. As he puts it, “I think I have this thing where I need everyone to believe that I’m the quote un-quote ‘Fantastic Mr. Fox,’ and if they’re not completely knocked out and dazzled and intimidated by me then I don’t feel good about myself.” But Mr. Fox’s occasional self-absorption can lead him to neglect the needs of the people who rely on him most – namely his son, Ash.
Foxy is married to the lovely Felicity Fox. She may have been the “town tart” back in the day, but Mr. Fox is lucky to have her, and he lets her know as much. They have a nice, snappy rapport, though Felicity is constantly forced to rein in Mr. Fox’s cavalier outlook on life.
Clive Badger is a lawyer working at the offices of Badger, Beaver & Beaver, is married to Mrs. Badger who is a pediatrician, and is Foxy's best friend, despite not accepting his reckless behavior, which endangers the lives of all the animals later on. Despite the frustation, he remains a loyal friend to Foxy, if disagreeable in his ideals.
Kylie Sven Opossum is is an overweight opossum with short stature. He has dark eyes and a scruffy light grey furred complexion. His apparel consists of a common fisherman's vest and shorts, with a matching fishing lure decorated hat. He is Mr. Fox's best friend and personal assistant. He works as the superintendent of Fox's house, and a minnow fisherman on the side.
