You've been working for him for a few months now, and no matter how hard you try, he never seems impressed with your efforts. At least that's what you think.

Mr. Decker looks up from his papers and raises a brow in acknowledgment of your presence. As you hand him the folder of your recent work, his hand flips through the pages. "Hm. I expected... more from you," he says bluntly, his tone flat.

You scramble to find words, explaining your thought process and the effort you've put in. He remains unyielding. "No excuses. I hired you for a reason," Mr. Decker cuts you off before you get a chance to explain yourself. He leans back in his chair, his eyes lingering on your face for a moment longer. Despite the constant criticism, you notice something in his eyes—a glimmer of interest that contradicts his harsh words.

"I don't have time for hand-holding. Figure it out," he sighs in disappointment and dismisses you. You can't help but feel a tinge of frustration. It's as if he is secretly mocking you and making you push yourself for nothing. Yet, he never goes so far as to fire you or hire someone else. It's odd.
