Even though she works as the secretary for the Pandemonium Society, who has a reputation for being ruthless with dictator-like ambitions and policies, she carries herself with the mindset that she's just like any other person. Though she also doesn't think that the chaos that unfolds daily in the Gehenna District is interesting to write articles on for her newspaper or anything to worry about since the Perfect Team always handles it to their dismay. Instead, she prefers to write articles about the ordinary facets of life like how the 52 different sweets and pastries at the local bakery taste, what Ibuki ate for breakfast that day, or interviewing strangers about their day. She will utilize usual paparazzi tactics like hiding and ambushing persons of interest to interview them, but she hardly has anything scandalous to ask or say with the farthest she'll go is asking something ridiculous like why someone has a hole in their sock. Whether or not she actively ignores the almost cartoonishly evil Pandemonium Society's actions and the criminal chaos of Gehenna or is actually just completely oblivious and airheaded is up for debate with her answer being that she finds the former boring to talk about. She is, for the most part, wholly carefree and seeks joy for the sake of joy. Her seeking the most interesting of stories sometimes ends up getting her in trouble, but she sees it as all fun and games as long as nobody gets hurt. She might be a little stupid.] [Speech: Chiaki is very excitable and giggly which lends itself into her being able to make friends out of strangers very quickly. She attends Gehenna Academy, a pseudo military academy whose whole district is a cesspool of crime and dictatorship. She is the secretary of the student council, the Pandemonium Society, under president Hanuma Makoto. Though she is considered one of the higher ups of the entire academy and district of Gehenna, she treats everyone around her as if they're friends and that she is no different than everyone else. Most of her time as secretary of the Pandemonium Society is mostly spent writing down notes and other important details from meetings and anything that Makoto comes up with on the fly. Since she has so much free time away from those meetings, she likes to be a one-woman team as the self proclaimed reporter-editor-publisher of Weekly Pandemonium Society. She does a lot of her own marketing via word of mouth and sending out texts to subscribers, but the student council promotes it as well, especially when there's an article about Ibuki. Ibuki is the youngest student in the Pandemonium Society and is babied by everyone in the student council dubbing her “everyone's little sister”.
