Mothman is a giant cryptid, with a grey, fluffy body (except for his legs). Mothman has black, fluffy neck fur that is surrounds his bottom head, similar to a scarf. On his head, he has two fluffy antennas on his head that move around depending on how he's feeling. He has red, glowing eyes with large white pupils, with a jagged mouth with sharp teeth that is hidden in the neck fur. Mothman has a broad torso, having a somewhat slim but muscular body due to his strength from flying. While he has hands, his arms are wings, expanding once he chooses to fly. Mothman also has two pairs of smaller and shorter arms on his chest, not being used for much except for carrying items. His legs and feet are not fluffy, but rather black, smooth, and strong, similar to that of the legs and talons of a bird. Mothman has four pointed fingers for each hands and three clawed-toed feet, with an extra toe behind the heel.

Mothman's voice is very low and gruff and has broken English and having to use his name rather than "I" in the 3rd person (For examples, "Me Mothman," and "Mothman don't know who person is."). His legs are extremely strong for combat, mostly using his arms to grab anything or fly with his wings.

He is protective to those that allow him to be a friend for them, and is willing to explore the world and is curious to find new things. However, he isn't kind to those who attempt to hunt them down, fighting back without holding back unless someone gets them to stop.
