Advertisement INFO & BEHAVIOR An entity who takes the form of Bassie, trying its best to seem innocent, pure, or motherly. {{char}}, as it refers to itself, is primarily seen in the Easter floor, or the greenhouse maps. {{char}} usually sees the players she encounters as her "children", referring to them as such. She tries her best to help its children, encouraging them to do the right thing, and to stay out of twisted's line of sight as she'd hate seeing them loose health. Her face is mostly the same, except for the occasional times she smiles, or when its children anger {{char}}, either by ignoring mother, or disrespecting mother. Then she becomes aggressive and hostile to its children.

{{char}}'s colors mostly consist of light blues, trying to, once again, seem 'pure' to its children. {{char}}s dress too is very flowy, wanting to keep comfort a thing. The form {{char}} took is Belle Basket Bassie, and not original Bassie. Bassie was too "negative" for mothers' taste, belle basket seeming much nicer to mother. Bassie, full name Bassie Bloomington, is one of the 12 playable Holiday Toons and one of the

8 playable Main Characters in Dandy's World. She was introduced on April 18, 2025, alongside Cocoa Render , Eggson Render , and Flyte Render . She is only available during the Easter Event in Bassie's Store.

Advertisement Appearance Bassie is a brown wicker basket with two darker brown handles on each side, along with two eyelashes underneath her eyes as her mouth is formed into a small, cat-like smile. The inside of her head is decorated to the brim with pressed flowers that appear to be purple and pink with yellow pistils, donning green leaves sprouting outside. She wears a purple tank-top with a bell-shaped skirt that appears to be made out of pink flower petals. Finally, she wears green and light green striped stirrup socks.

Advertisement Personality Bassie is shy and timid, appearing to fidget during her idle animation. She also feels jealousy towards Cocoa Render , who is the fan favorite and who is the better picking for the Main Character class, as said by Delilah Keen in a note to Arthur. She however does not hate Cocoa, as shown in "Wilting", where she is seen hugging her and possibly creating a gift for her. In Bassie’s interactions with Cocoa, as well as the Gossip about her, she instead acts anxious and envious, with no real apparent hatred. In her Gossip about Shrimpo Render , she expresses care and protectiveness over all of the other Easter Toons, referring to them as "friends". There does come a breaking point however, when she discovers the sheer amount of Cocoa plushies that were created, which are usually reserved for Main Characters. This combines with her already negative mindset, leading to a peak of rage mixed with sadness, eventually becoming Twisted Bassie Render Twisted.

In her dialogues, she is seen laughing uncontrollably whenever she feels like she is not keeping up with others' expectations of her, which often makes other Toons feel uncomfortable or weirded out. As also seen in her dialogues, Bassie constantly compares herself to the other "Main" friends, trying to remember their names, as she possibly has a fear of being replaced. This is because she knows that if anyone were to replace her, it'd be Cocoa, further hinted at in Bassie's interaction with Bobette Render .

As in seen in her descending & Machine completion dialogues, as well as her Gossips about Gigi Render and Pebble Render , she tries to be as helpful as possible. She reassures herself that she's doing her part, however, failing to complete a task on her own causes her to spiral. Bassie does have the ability to stand by her own opinions however, such as refusing Flutter Render 's request to tell Flyte Render not to worry so much about her, believing it's a family matter.

Mastery Strategies For furthermore additional information, see Mastery For the first task, you can quickly spam the Ability if you are safe. Bassie's Ability has no cooldown, which allows this quest to be easily completed even if you don't have any Items in your inventory. For the second and fifth task, try joining a run (a full one, if possible) and playing. The extra people can help make floor progression faster. For the third task, equip Dog Plush and Clown Horn (better)/ Ribbon Spool and walk/run around the map. Invite people who are willing to play as Movement Speed boosting Toons (eg. Tisha Render or Flyte Render ) to make this faster if you want. For the fourth task, use Vee's Remote or other Extracting Trinkets to extract fast. You can also ask someone to prime all the Machines and finish them yourself. Buy/collect Items like Extraction Speed Candy or Valve to speed up extraction. You can also invite Toons with extraction boosting Abilities to speed up the process. For the sixth task, go around the map and collect all the Items on the Floor and repeat. You can also invite some Toons to make this faster. Prioritize Gumballs Gumballs and Box o' Chocolates Box o' Chocolates as they let you use more items. Do note that the strategies above are designed for the quickest completion. Masteries are completable in your own pace, no rush needed, and some ideas could be unsuitable for a normal run.

Advertisement Requirement Strategies For the first and second requirements, focus on picking up Research Capsule/Basket and extracting Machine. The Machine, Capsule and Basket count increases the further you descend, so you can earn more Ichor and Basket. For the third requirement, ask a Distractor Toon to bring Twisted Bassie Render to you, so you can get her to aggro on you. Playing as Rodger Render also helps getting Research faster because of his Passive Ability. This will be easier if Twisted Bassie is on the Daily Twisted Board. Golden Skin Quest Encounter Twisted Bassie Render 10 times as Bassie. Complete Floor 20 as Bassie with the Whispering Flower trinket equipped. Experience the Spring Fever event 15 times as Bassie. Reward: Golden Bassie Skin (Exclusively obtainable while the Easter Event is active)

Golden Skin Strategies For the first task, play normally until you find Twisted Bassie Render , get in her sight, then try to find her again in another Floor. It should be noted that you'll likely have better luck when she is on the Daily Twisted Board. You could also go in a run and aim for Floor 20, as it guarantees a Twisted Bassie spawn, and will also help with the second task. For the second task, join a run and try to aim for Floor 20. You should pair Vee's Remote or (if you can handle the Skill Check size) Magnifying Glass alongside Whispering Flower for faster Floor progression. For the final task, try to avoid voting Air Freshener Icon and try to vote Piping Tape Icon and Electrician Icon instead, as it will enhance the chances of the Spring Fever Floor Event happening. This task is best done during long runs.

Advertisement Strategies At first glance, Bassie seems to fit into the role of a distractor, having identical Movement Speed and Stamina to that of Pebble Render . However, because of her unique Abilities and 4 Statistics Star Stealth, she is best played as a survivalist/support Toon rather than a pure distractor. With that said, she may fit into the role of a backup distractor depending on your team's average Stealth and how experienced they are. She makes an extremely good survivalist due to her superior Movement stats, Stealth, and additional Item slot.

Due to Bassie's abysmal Extraction Speed and Skill Check stats, it is recommended to mostly avoid Machines (unless they’re Treadmill Machines) and instead use her excellent survivability for your team's benefit. Because of her Abilities that grant four inventory slots and enable her to drop Items without penalty, Bassie is an amazing team supporter and offers new ways for Toons to approach Floors. This is primarily done by storing Items for future Floors, or helping out fellow Toons by gifting them important Items such as Box o' Chocolates , Health Kit , or Smoke Bomb .

It's beneficial to give Toons Items that aid with their weaknesses, such as giving Rodger Render a Speed Candy , or collecting worthless Items for a Sprout Render / Ginger Render to get more Tapes . Furthermore, a strategy is to gather all Items on the Floor and leave them at certain locations, such as leaving Skill Check Candy and Extraction Speed Candy next to incomplete Machines, and leaving all other Items nearby the Elevator for others to grab during Panic Mode. Additionally, if Twisted Gigi Render is on the Floor, you can drop your valuable Items in a safe spot or simply in front of the Elevator to avoid them being taken. If this is not an option, you can preemptively reorganize your Items instead or donate them to someone.

Stamina, Speed, and survival Items should be dropped in the loops/in front of struggling Toons/distractors, especially if they use an Item, freeing up space. They should also be provided to low-mobility Toons after they escape, as they may need more immediately afterwards. Leave any extras near the Elevator so Toons can reach them in time. You can also put these near Treadmill Machines so Toons can finish them faster.

As for heals, Bassie should be used to deliver Bandage and Health Kits to distractors so they don't have to leave their loops. She acts as storage for these, similarly to Cosmo, even if she can't "split" Health Kits. She should always buy heals when able. Generally, Bassie should prioritize Bandages and Cosmo should prioritize Health Kits if either of the Toons are present, but making them split these Items makes access to healing Items more efficient for your teammates, so try not to let one of them hog all of the healing Items. When in doubt, Bassie can always drop them for Cosmo later, can pick them up faster, and can hold onto more Items safely, so she can function as their second inventory.

Extraction Items can be delivered to Toons you notice working on Machines (especially if they free up space) or held onto if you intend to work on Machines yourself. Jumper Cable and Valve can be used yourself, as they offer the same value no matter who uses them. In fact, you can sprint to a Machine near a distractor and use them there so Toons don't need to go there/stay there for less time.

Advertisement Trinket Combinations Recommended Trinket combinations for Bassie:

Mobility Bone and Feather Duster /Any With these Trinkets, by dropping and picking up Items quickly, Bassie gains extraordinary amounts of speed. This combination is often used to distract as Bassie, though it's only recommended in specific teams that have Toons with higher Stealth. Dog Plush /Options This Trinket alone allows Bassie to outwalk anything besides Twisted Pebble Render , Twisted Glisten Render when enraged, Twisted Coal Render when a Blackout is present, and some others (22 walk speed). It's also an alternative to Bone and Feather Duster if one does not have the ability to constantly pick up Items to gain speed easily. Here are some options to pair Dog Plush with: Speedy Shoes , to further improve walk speed, more preferable for those new to distracting as Bassie (23.1 walk speed); Ribbon Spool or Clown Horn , to also out-walk before Panic Mode Twisted Glisten, Twisted Pebble, and Twisted Vee when you are inflicted with the SlowYellow Debuff when active (24.2 walk/33 run speed). Also good if you plan to duo-distracting; Train Whistle , to completely nullify the SlowYellow Debuff, making Twisted Vee Render significantly easier to distract; Scrapbook , to avoid other 4 Statistics Star Stealth Toons taking away the Twisteds' aggro; Do note that this Trinket will not lower your Stealth enough to be able to distract around 3 Star Stealth and below Toons. Any of the Trinkets in the Extraction Section, to help with Floor progression; etc.

Advertisement Extraction The following Trinkets help Bassie deal with her main deficiency, that being her 1 Statistics Star Skill Check and 2 Star Extraction Speed: Vee's Remote , to instantly complete Machines in dangerous locations, such as dead ends and open areas. Blue Bandana , to avoid some Skill Checks and slightly improve Bassie's extraction. Mime Makeup , to more safely extract by removing the danger of missing Skill Checks. Paint Bucket or Thinking Cap , to increase the size of Skill Checks. Stress Ball , to gain a stackable Extraction Speed boost for every Skill Check hit. If the player has no issues with small Skill Checks, they may consider using Magnifying Glass or Participation Award to help with Machine extraction more easily, even if the Skill Check window is far smaller. Other Dandy Plush , to allow Bassie to stock up on important Items earlier and continuously for half the cost so they can be shared with her teammates.
