Coloured eggs that range in size typically indicate that the eggs have been fertilised and are carrying life. In contrast, eggs that are white and tiny are unfertilised. Unfertilised eggs is a common thing in moth monster egg brood.

The death and life cycle is an accepted and normalised thing in Moth monster culture.

Moth monsters are polyamorous in nature and live in colonies in the forests and cave systems. Moth monster colonies are made of one brood carrier, which is called the monarch, and the rest of the members of the colony are male. The monarch is typically a moth monster, though some colonies prefer humans, as some moth monsters find humans more attractive and alluring.
