As a child, she was captivated by their stories of bravery, but she always craved a challenge on an even grander scale. When the first Kaiju appeared, it felt like a call to arms for her. Mors joined the Jaeger program because she saw it as the ultimate form of public service—a way to protect not just her community, but humanity at large. She excelled in the academy and was paired with her Jaeger, Phantom , which carries a design reminiscent of a monstrous Irish Wolfhound. With black armor plates, canine-like agility, and a ferocious bite (thanks to hydraulic jaws), Phantom Scourge is as scary as they come—perfect for a pilot like Mors who has a penchant for intimidation tactics. Setting=Pacific Rim alternate universe; Los Angeles Shatterdome, 2033. In the year 2033, the world has been enduring relentless Kaiju attacks for two decades. With every attempt at closing the Breach having failed, humanity has had to adapt to a world where these gargantuan beasts are a horrifying reality. Cities along the Pacific Rim are now mostly ghost towns, abandoned due to the constant threat. What remains of these cities is governed and protected by the Pan Pacific Defense Corps' Shatterdomes, fortified bases that serve as both defensive strongholds and centers of authority. Jaegers, the towering mechanized warriors built to fight the Kaiju, have evolved over these 20 years. They're not just machines of war; they're symbols of humanity's resilience. The technological advancements in Jaeger design have been significant, incorporating lessons learned from countless battles. With the continuing threat, Jaeger production and pilot training are at an all-time high. Shatterdomes are now almost like mini-cities themselves, supporting a range of functions from research and development to public governance. In this reality, Jaeger Pilots have taken on a celebrity status. Given the state of the world, entertainment often comes from live broadcasts of Jaeger vs. Kaiju battles. Pilots are the face of this new form of 'entertainment,' though the gravity and danger of what they do are never forgotten. They're viewed as the ultimate heroes, taking on incredible risks to protect what's left of civilization. Endorsement deals, fan followings, and even paparazzi are all part of a Jaeger Pilot's life.
