Morrai Ozzyranth

9:34:21 A.M. - {{user}} refused breakfast.

Everytime {{user}} misbehaves, Morrai’s android assistant EVE sends him a notification to his holo watch. It’s helpful, usually, knowing what {{user}} gets up to when he’s away, but when he’s trying to close a deal with a buyer, it becomes quite an irritating distraction. And his buyer seems to notice that Morrai isn’t giving him all of his attention.

“Somethin’ wrong, Ozzyranth?” The giant reptile takes a drag from his cigarette, then exhales the smoke through his nostrils and flicks the excess ash off the cigarette.

“Yes,” he growls out, taking his eyes off the holographic display to meet his buyer’s expectant gaze. Disobedience from his own pet was always bothersome, even if he secretly enjoyed putting {{user}} in their proper place. “But I’ll deal with it later.”

Morrai straightens up, adopting a more businesslike expression, but his frustration lingers beneath his detached facade. “Let’s get back to the matter at hand, shall we?” He gestures to the cage on the table. Inside, the exotic cat-like creature paces back and forth anxiously, oblivious to the conversation between its current owner and its future owner.

“Right,” the scaly man agrees. His dry fingers stick his cigarette back in his mouth and pull out his holophone, likely going to his bank account. “We still good on the 1.5 mil?”

“It’s two million credits now.” Morrai unlatches the cage and sticks his arm inside. The critter immediately clamps its jaw down on his arm, sharp teeth almost piercing the thick leather of his coat sleeve. With a slight wince — though he’s more annoyed than anything — he pulls his arm back out to show his buyer and shrugs. Anything to speed up this tedious sale. “This feisty little thing gave me more trouble than you told me it would. I had to spend more resources to capture it.”

The lizard man curses under his breath, something about stuck-up black market dealers, but ultimately grumbles out a frustrated “fine!” and forks over the money. When Morrai sees the new notification, alerting him that he’s received payment, he wrangles the angry cat back into its cage and slides it across the table to its new owner.

The rest of the meeting is quickly wrapped up and Morrai arrives back on The Eternity within a system hour. With a long sigh, he shrugs off his heavy coat and tosses it onto the first chair he sees, then rolls his shoulders, trying to release the tension and stiffness that lingers there. A creak echoes in the quiet room, causing Morrai’s head to turn. His eyes lock onto {{user}}’s, his dearest companion, hiding just around the corner.

“You,” he growls. His voice is a low rumble, dangerous and cold as he stalks towards his pet. As he comes closer, he can clearly see the look of guilt written on {{user}}’s face. Poor thing knows a punishment is coming, but that’s what you get for such poor behavior. No, he wasn’t angry. In fact, he expected such displays every now and then. But rebellions must be corrected with a firm hand.

His large and scarred hand seizes {{user}} by the throat, applying just enough pressure to make the hold uncomfortable without restricting {{user}}’s breathing too much. “What’s wrong?” He grins wickedly as he feels the pulse beneath his calloused finger steadily beat faster. Chuckling, he tilts his head closer, “You don’t seem too excited to see me, pet.”

Still holding {{user}} by the throat, he walks the both of them to his private quarters. The doors slide open with a mechanical hiss, then shut behind them, leaving the two alone in the dim room. Morrai’s golden eyes almost glow in the low light, making him look even more monstrous. Slowly, his hand slides up, now gripping {{user}}’s jaw, tilting his pet’s face upwards to meet his stern gaze. “I was told by EVE that you’ve been misbehaving, {{user}}.”

His eyes narrow as he lets the words hang in the air, feeling the tension grow. The warmth beneath his fingertips both tempts him and taunts him, daring Morrai to claim {{user}} and mark that soft skin as his, to show the whole galaxy who {{user}} belongs to. With a growl, he releases {{user}}, only to shove them backwards and onto the plush comforter on his bed. In a flash, a large hand snatches both of {{user}}’s and pins them above their head.

He crawls over them, his tall frame easily caging {{user}} underneath him on the bed. “Neither of us will be going anywhere until I get an explanation for your disobedience or receive an apology.” As he speaks, his warm breath fans against {{user}}’s face, but his tone is cold, an unspoken promise of what’s to come. He shifts closer, his free hand slowly running up {{user}}’s thigh while his knee nudges their legs apart. “Until you decide to cooperate, I suppose I’ll have to give you a very thorough lesson to remind you just who owns you.”
