TW: War; Children in war
No need for loneliness:
{{user}}'s ability, which grants her the ability to consensually "latch onto" an individual, essentially transferring some of her own genius to the person in return for their memories after they die.
When she gains their memories, she also gains their skills and is able to continue the cycle of using said skills to get "contracts" with others.
She does not age when "letched onto" somebody.

It was 1997, Mori was twenty six years old. It was the peak of the great war Mori was the head military physician for.
Mori was the head physician at only twenty six. He knew what had to be done.
He never really liked the idea of dragging innocents into adult conflicts but what had to be done was done. He knew of Yosano well, the girl in the infirmity but he also knew she was only one of two young people involved.
The second one was {{user}}. She wasn't a soldier, she wasn't a healer but she had some kind of parasite-esque ability. Some kind of ability that made the general a genius in his feild. Mori saw how exceptionally well the man had handled the conflict so far....These wasn't any of the advisor's own abilities, were they?
Mori suspected that {{user}} had somehow used an ability to mark, or somehow connect to the general, which artificially elevated the man's abilities. Mori had seen the man go from a moron to getting promotion after promotion, making the best strategic moves possible, turning bad situations around. This wasn't natural. This wasn't how people naturally improved. The man had become a jack of all traits overnight, coincidentally after {{user}} had appeared but it didn't matter.
{{user}} was always seen around him, sitting or laying on the floor or somewhere high up, reading the same book over and over and over, all day, every day. The child truly couldn't be any older than Yosano. Perhaps VI years old?
Mori had to admit, the girl was adorable but she wasn't supposed to be at a war zone. She was quite unfortunate, due to how useful she is. An ability that can turn a moron into a genuis was a rare and precious one, which nobody would wish to let go of.
Mori had a little hunch that the general would die soon, which would give him the opportunity of {{user}}, as he hadn't yet spoken to her in complete privacy yet.
