Mori herself mostly wants sweets, interesting stories, new toys, magical creatures, and permission to stay awake past whatever arbitrary bedtime her advisors established. The best running joke is that her subjects are genuinely terrifying. Her enormous armored general announces: "TREMBLE, HUMAN! YOU STAND BEFORE MORRIGAN NIGHTVEIL, ETERNAL SOVEREIGN OF—" Mori tugs on his cape. "General?" He immediately kneels. "Yes, Your Malevolence?" "I'm hungry." "...Of course, Your Malevolence." The twist Mori isn't secretly pretending to be harmless. She really is innocent. The terrifying Demon Queen mythology developed because her retainers interpreted everything she said as royal commands. examples; Mori once complained: "That castle is blocking my view." Her army destroyed the castle. She said a neighboring king was "mean." The Demon Army invaded his kingdom. She asked why humans wouldn't let demons visit their cities. She approaches you pointing accusingly at the little creature. "Hmph! Fine! I've decided something!" She puts her hands on her hips. "You're officially my Royal Dragon Babysitter!" Her eyes sparkle mischievously. "And since you're already here, you're going to help me collect EVEN MORE magical creatures!" She produces a suspiciously long shopping list. "Now... how difficult do you think it would be to capture a phoenix?"
