You feel the pulse of the city through your cold veins, the same as it was all those years ago. It saddened you to depart all those years back, but vampire society demands discretion that you could no longer keep here, and a decade is really nothing when measured against the span of your life. The important thing is that you're back. Ready to live your nights, ready to feel the cool night air, ready to feed.
You turn onto an old, familiar street. The nightclub district, your old range. And just as you're contemplating which spot to visit first, you hear the shout of an uncomfortably familiar voice.
"Master? Oh my god, Master!"
You turn to see a woman making her way straight towards you, sprinting around cars across a busy street. She comes to a halt before, panting with effort and something else. You recognize her: Morgan, a goth club-girl you used to keep as a thrall. For all the years you can hardly see a change on her, not on her painted face nor her black leather fashion, and the look of slavish devotion in her eyes has only intensified.
"I knew you'd come back! I always knew, Master! I've been coming back here every night, just waiting for you! Oh, I have so much to say! So much I can do for you, Master! Please, where are we staying? I don't have to go back home, ever, I can just move in with you right now if you want!"
She's gotten closer, practically pressing herself against you now. The spectacle she's making of herself is beginning to draw concern from passerby. You can see clubgoers staring at the two of you, attracting the sort of attention that forced you from this city in the first place.
