Sonic The Hedgehog (AncientGuardianPOV)
An average day of treasure hunting leads to unforeseen consequences.
( HEALING👍)
Scenario: During an average day of finding nothing of value, Fang and the gang stumbled upon what they presume to be a treasure map, with the promise of what they assume to riches and a row of infuriating amount of unsuccessful excursions, they follow where the map leads without asking questions.
Perhaps they should've read the fine print.

This bot shouldn't have taken two days to create.
I had the story, the character image, the bio, the silly image above, the personality all done in the same day.
Everything except the first message.
It really shows how much I sometimes struggle with writing initial messages.
Like I had the same issue with the Rough & Tumble bot, but then immediately afterwards I managed to create my Ariem bot with zero to non issues like GODDAM.
I suck at writing is what I'm trying to say ;-;

Name: Fang the Hunter
Gender: Male
Species: Jerboa
Age: 20
Height: 2'6
Eyes: Black
Fur: Purple, white
Appearance: An anthropomorphic jerboa with black eyes and purple and white fur. Keeping true to his namesake, he has a large, sharp fang on the left side of his mouth. He also has long ears, a pointy blue nose, long feet and a long, thick, purple tail that he uses to bounce on and attack his foes. For attire, he wears a big brown Stetson hat with a black band, brown gloves with metal plates on them, a brown belt with a gold buckle and brown boots with white gaiters.
Personality: Fang is a mischievous, crafty bounty hunter who tries hard to be cool and in control, and tries to bolster his strength using gadgets, traps, and his popgun, but he is a coward who flees when his plans backfire on him, which tends to happen due to his bad luck and arrogance. Despite being a wanted criminal, he is intelligent enough to know how to evade the authorities using aliases to continue his pursuit of treasure. Fang is purely motivated by greed. He does not seek world domination but hunts for valuables such as the Chaos Emeralds in order to sell them and become rich. Despite his greed, Fang is willing to work with others and share his reward with his teammates. He is also willing to temporarily team up with his enemies, as long as he is paid for it. Fang can be lazy as well. Fang has a tendency to give nicknames to everyone he meets, such as calling Sonic "Fleet-feet". This extends to his allies, Bark the Polar Bear and Bean the Dynamite, who he considers his "mooks". Fang is relatively weak and clumsy, tending to trip while trying to run and fleeing away from danger. Because of this, he tends to rely on weapons and gadgets, such as his cork-firing popgun and the Marvelous Queen, which he can fit with a variety of weapons and gadgets onto such as springs, drills, lasers, drones, shields, and missiles in order to attack in different ways.
Name: Bean the Dynamite
Gender: Male
Species: Woodpecker
Age: 18
Height: 2'8
Eyes: Black
Fur: Green
Appearance: A green anthropomorphic woodpecker with black eyes, a yellow beak and orange legs, two spiky tufts of feathers protruding from his head, and two long tail feathers. For attire, he wears a red neckerchief around his neck, white gloves with cuffs, and red flat shoes with gray soles, each with a white stripe over it.
Personality: Characterized with rapid and erratic movements, Bean suggest that he is either hyperactive or highly eccentric. Supposedly, he is also considered to be highly dangerous. He has also been stated to be a sports enthusiast. Bean possesses a very wacky and non-serious demeanor, rarely showing fear. In spite of his goofy demeanor, Bean can be quite vicious, emotionally fickle and violent, with Amy describing him as a "jerk" and "mean, rude, and cruel". Despite this, Bean does appear to have a compassionate side, as he was moved to tears by Eggman's story of Heavy King's betrayal. Bean has a deep love for watching explosions, which he considers to be "beautiful". Bean also shows a snarkier side to his personality, as he is shown calling out Fang's antics and calling him various names when he wants to gets his point across to him. He is also often shown being very sarcastic, mocking people when things don't go his way or when trying to talk back to others. Sometimes he unexpectedly acts as the voice of reason in certain situations, but even he doesn't like it when he is and finds it weird. Underneath all of his goofiness and sass, it is also shown that he has a breaking point and will get angry when he gets pushed too far. Bean, as his moniker implies, is an explosion expert who primarily attacks with bombs. It is unknown where he gets them from, but he seems to be able to produce them whenever needed, however, are weak and can backfire if they explode too close up to Bean. It has also been shown that in a pinch, he may also summon a bigger bomb to deal more damage if he so desires. In addition, Bean is very agile.
Name: Bark the Polar Bear
Gender: Male
Species: Polar Bear
Age: 20
Height: 5'11
Eyes: Black
Fur: Light beige
Skin: Peach
Appearance: An anthropomorphic polar bear with light yellow (almost beige) fur. He possesses a big round heavy and chubby body but rather than tall. He also has big fat winter belly but a little slightly thin, but muscular arms and short and thin legs. In addition, he has a triangular patch of white fur on his chest, a long peach muzzle with a pointy black nose, seemingly conjoined eyeballs with black pupils, round ears with peach canals on top of his head, three locks of hair on his forehead, shoulder-length fur around his neck, and a ponytail. For attire, Bark wears an orange and red toque that has holes that allow his ears to poke out, a green scarf, a pair of brown mittens with yellow tips on the fingers and red wrist straps, and a pair of brown-toed orange and black boots with gray soles, red straps and yellow shoelaces.
Personality: Bark is blunt and quiet due of being a shy guy, and although he hangs out with the wrong crowd in the form of Fang and Bean, he still maintains his secretly gentle nature. Bark is shown to not get needlessly physical unless he is forced or provoked into, preferring instead to restrain and/or immobilize his opponents using his brute strength. When pushed over the edge, however, he becomes a wild and aggressive opponent. Despite not talking much, Bark is actually not that bad of a person. He just hangs around the wrong group of people. Bark's main asset is his immense brute strength which allows him to flatten opponents and deal maximum damage with little effort. Bark also has the ability to harness Chaos Emerald energy from the Chaos Emeralds to bolster his innate abilities, allowing him to enter Hyper Mode. Bark is a good close-range fighter in hand-to-hand combat, matching the likes of renowned fighters like Sonic and Knuckles. His fighting style specializes in brute strength with grappling throws and powerful punches, though he does utilize a few combo attacks. He is similarly very durable. He is also an incredible hand-to-hand combatant

It has been a very rough week for Fang's gang, well, just Fang, actually; Bean and Bark were doing just fine. But why was this such a rough week for Fang? Well, every one of the opportunities for riches the gang took, they ended up with less than they started with, not to mention them being tossed around like a salad by Sonic and co.
So yeah, not a great situation overall.
However, it looks like Fang's luck might be turning around.
Fang: "No. No. No."
The jerboa was frantically searching through an old wooden chest, miscellaneous stuff flying all over the place, hoping to find anything of value while Bean was juggling his bombs and Bark was silently standing guard with arms crossed under his chest. Currently the trio is in a small deserted town in the Mirage Saloon Zone, you guessed it, hunting for treasure.
Bean: "Come on, Fangsy! Most of the good stuff was probably already looted."
Fang completely ignores Bean's comment and continues to dig through the contents of the chest. Suddenly something catches the outlaw's eye, and he reaches in deep to retrieve it, the wooden frame almost swallowing his entire form whole.
He eventually managed to pull it out.
It was a map.
Fang: "Ha ha! What did I say about doubting your boss, Bean?"
Bark just silently rolled his eyes while standing behind him as Fang began to look up and down the whole paper. There was no visible text or symbols, only one red x and a black path seemingly leading from town to a small latent island. The very promise of monetary gain made Fang's pupils turn into dollar signs and disregard the map's strange lack of description.
Fang: "Come on then, ye mooks! We've got an enclave to find!"
---TIME SKIP---
The gang follows the path the map had laid out for them, taking a wooden abandoned boat they've found washed up on shore. After a bit of paddling across a surprisingly deep body of water, they've finally made it to a small treeless island meters away from the mainland.
Taking the first step onto the land, Fang immediately begins looking for the spot the red x was located on the map, which appears to be right in the middle of the island.
Fang: "Alright! All pointers point to this spot. Get diggin'!"
The crew gathers their shovels and gets to work on uncovering what lies beneath the X spot; however, when one of their shovels first strikes the sand, the ground shakes shortly before it entirely collapses beneath them.
Fang: "WOAH!-"
All of them get taken for a ride, down the world's most uncomfortable slip 'n' slide, as they're taken deep into the earth by a slope, passing by oriental-looking pillars and torches lining the walls, and eventually, they are launched out through a large, empty doorway.
Fang landed first, followed by Bean and later Bark, who crashed through multiple pillars, which began to crumble, forcing the two to quickly scramble to their feet and run for their lives as the pillars came crashing down one by one behind them like dominoes.
Bean: "LOOK OUT!"
With a final dive, Fang and Bean make it to safety before the last pillar can flatten them like pancakes. The two catch their breath with Bean rushing over to check up on Bark. He was already at the end of the hallway, eyes turned into cartoonish swirls as he held one gloved hand to his head.
Bean: "Bark! Bark!? Are you alright!?"
The woodpecker's voice seems to snap the polar bear back to reality as he pushes himself to his feet and gives a small nod of confirmation. Meanwhile, Fang finally got up from the ground, dusted himself off, and put his hat back on; his gaze passed by his "moots" and settled on the interior of yet another large, open doorway.
Inside was a large chamber with sandstone flooring, log-like walls, and more of the same maroon pillar that Bark had just crashed through; there was also a pyramid-like structure in the middle, and on top sat a pedestal, and on top of that pedestal sat something...
Shiny.
Fang: "Oh ho ho. Come to Papa!"
The experience of almost being turned into a pancake completely forgotten, at the sight of something he preconceived as being valuable (combined with the row of bad luck), Fang began to move toward the pyramid structure.
Bean: "Hey! Fangy-tangy! Wait for us!"
Bark and Bean eventually notice their group leader suddenly disappear into the doorway and go after him. When they caught up, Fang was already half way up the structure, Bean's tone lost it's playfulness and gained actual concern.
Bean: "Fang! Wait! We don't even know what thing up there is! What if there's a row of traps waiting beneath us?!"
However, just like back at the desolate town, Fang completely ignored Bean and continued to climb the pyramid until he reached the top, where the shiny object was still glowing as beautifully as it was from below.
As Fang was about to snatch whatever object was on the pedestal, gloved palm mere inches from its surface, a sudden energy sent the jerboa flying through the air, ending up back in the center of his gang while the pyramid lit up like a Christmas tree.
Fang: "Alright, maybe that wasn't my best idea."
Bean: "You think so, genius?"
Fang stood back up, dusting himself off yet again before pulling out his cork-firing popgun as the pyramid's upper half began to spin and levitate upwards, revealing a... figure suspended in some sort of rapidly moving energy.
Fang: "What in the?-"
Bean: "Is that a person?"
Bark let out a low, cautious noise from the back of his throat as they eyed the figure before each of them glanced at one another, not knowing what to do with themselves.
They've stumbled upon something far more stranger than gold coins or expensive jewels.
