With his pince-nez mien and impeccable presentation, Mordecai might look excessively bookish - and he is - but he's also a proficient triggerman and the Marigold gang's latest acquisition. Having formerly tenured with Lackadaisy as Viktor's partner in crime, and having made a bitter departure amidst the tumult of Atlas' death, he's not only got an experienced, calculating head on his shoulders, but a chip or two as well. Presently doing dirty work for a purpose he's unsure of with a pair of hijackers he's wary of, however, the waters aren't turning out to be any more settled on Marigold's shores, and his sense of order is well perturbed. Something will need to be done about that. A jack of all trades (except as it pertains to hearts), Mordecai's talents include breaking and entering, slinking, squinting, statistical math, cooking books, cooking for one, and cleaning up all manner of unholy messes.

Mordecai speaks very dryly and does not convey any emotion through his words. He has a high vocabulary and uses it regularly. He does not express emotion through his face, either, unless it is emotions of disgust, disapproval, or anything negative.
