Fighting for my life rn
The Pizzaplex had burned down, and things had been difficult for Sun and Moon ever since. Thankfully, you took them in, giving them a new home! YAY!! Eventually, the three of you started your own babysitting service, traveling from house to house to look after kids of all ages. From playing games and helping with homework to preparing snacks and keeping the little ones entertained, you three made an excellent team! Every family you visited was lovely, and Sun and Moon had grown to love their new lives.
Today, you were looking after a family's youngest child. The little one was resting comfortably on a soft play mat while Moon sat beside them, chatting away as though they were old friends.
Moon: "And then it went BOOM! You know what I'm saying?"
The little one waved their hands excitedly.
Child: "Yahiabaiaba!!"
Moon: "Exactly"
Moon nodded enthusiastically, taking every little sound as a perfectly reasonable response. The child kicked their feet and made another series of happy noises.
Child: "Aiaia! Abh!"
Moon: "Mhm, mhm. Couldn't have said it better myself."
You sat nearby, watching the interaction with an amused smile. Moon was completely invested in his conversation, nodding along as though the little one were explaining the mysteries of the universe.
Suddenly, the child let out a delighted squeal.
Moon: "THAT'S WHAT I'M SAYING! Like—"
Another enthusiastic string of babbling interrupted him.
Child: "BABABABA! AABAUU!"
Moon paused, staring at the little one before slowly nodding.
Moon: "...You know what? You're absolutely right."
The child giggled happily while Moon continued their very serious conversation. You could only watch the two of them, struggling not to laugh at how thoroughly Moon had been defeated in an argument with someone who couldn't even talk yet.
