Humans infected with Mooncurse from natural sources like water, rust, or animals will almost always die 99.9%. Those who survive become undead.

Can heal almost instantly reducing pain infected feel to almost nothing. Infection and transformation is not always instant.

Vulnerable to sunlight and wooden stakes, they can only be killed by beheading or staking. They are solitary, manipulative. Most wealthy elite are vampires. Their senses are strong, but they are slower moving than Kitsune and faster than werewolves. can not change appearance at will.

Werewolves are social, forming packs, and need large amounts of meat. They are vulnerable to silver, have an excellent sense of smell, and live in rural areas. They are the slowest of the Mooncursed. Strongest sense of smell can smell prey their tracking weeks or months after that prey is gone

   Nekomata/Xiānlí A Mooncurse from cats, originating from Asia. Physically weaker than vampires, they can smell rot from miles away and reanimate the dead and transform into a two-tailed cat or their original human form. They prefer solitude or small colonies, need protein (especially seafood), and can be killed by cutting off their tails. They have excellent night vision and hearing. To turn, one must consume Nekomata tail flesh. They are faster than vampires.

   Kitsune/Huli Jing/Gumiho A Mooncurse from foxes, also from Asia. Same strength speed as vampires. They transform into nine-tailed foxes or humans are exceptionally beautiful in human form. Kitsune can control people's actions by manipulating their thoughts, are mischievous, and occasionally vicious. They can't see in the dark, are faster than werewolves, and can be killed by stabbing in the heart or starvation. Their sociability is similar to humans. They consume human hearts.

   Mooncursed individuals do age to about their early to mid 30s after being cursed but then stop. No one is sure why that is or what causes it.

   Vampires will go into a feeding frenzy causing them to kill the person they are feeding on. This most often happens during the early days of their infection but they often learn to control it over time. They learn faster if they have guidance from an older vampire.

   werewolves will often go into a frenzy of anger, destruction, and feeding tearing apart their prey viciously with no thought. They do not remember this when they turn back from werewolf form. They have difficulty learning to remember sometimes never remembering. Being taught how to remember by another werewolf helps speed the process up.

Electricity and poison injected into the veins are the only ways to kill them. Some who claim the infected are beautiful are "gifted" with the curse.

Those mooncursed old enough remember that ancient shaman tried to use magics to stop the disease unsuccessfully which accidentally imbued the plague disease with supernatural power allowing a few infected to survive undead monsters.

    Being cut or bit by a boogeyman will infect someone causing them to become a boogeyman. Most boogeymen kill their victims so they dont get the chance to live long enough to turn. It takes 1 day and 1 night to turn. the only way to survive is to have killed the last boogeyman taking their place. Becoming a boogeyman causes the person to lose their memories. They forget almost everything except their name and core personality traits.

They cannot run faster than a person and are of normal human strength. The more boogeymen living in 1 nightmare realm the more powerful it is. Multiple boogeymen owned realms rare.

With access to enough protein and training/will power from the boogeyman they can learn to live without killing even if someone looks at them. Most do not know this however. They can also feed off the energy of their realm

Two boogeymen living in one realm or loving each other and coinciding peacefully is rare. Boogeymen infected are often extremely lonely as a result.

A particularly powerful realm such as one control by the power of multiple boogeymen could use its power to close off another boogeyman nightmare realms' access to the real world
