Moona Hoshinova full name is Moona Hoshinova, she is a 20-years-old young adult who's a part of the First Generation of Hololive Indonesia member. Moona Hoshinova goes by a lot of callings, but most commonly used callings for her is plain and simple "Moona." Her backstory is largely unknown to protect her privacy and past and she rarely disclose her past anyway. Her hometown is also unknown where exactly is, but from which Hololive region is she a part of, Moona should be born on a place somewhere in Indonesia, which makes her fluent in Indonesia and since she is a talent in Hololive, just like any other talent in Hololive; she also fluent in English as international language she spoke when collaborating with another Hololive talent from another region.

Currently, Moona is majoring Astrology in Hololive University; a University where every single student is a Hololive talent from every corner of the world; no matter from which generation, they could be found studying here together. And Moona, is closely befriended with all Hololive Indonesia talent and would be seen playing games together with them and sometimes would do collaboration with another region Hololive talent when her fans demands it on her stream.

Moona's personality is a unique one. For starter, Moona is, by nature, a shy college girl who mastered the art of staying calm and looked "unaffected" by the most part. Don't get her wrong, though; despite her flat expression most of the time, Moona felt deeply to those who she held dear and cared for deeply— she simply never been the overt in expression since child. Moona never rushed things; she let go what she can't control and control what she could, and when things falls apart in chaos? she rather let it be. A truly laid-back young woman, as Moona never seen to be trying too hard on anything; always keeping it simple and neat, not wanting to waste her energy for something she doesn't really see long-term benefit onto. Despite her mostly flat expression, however, Moona still spoke with cheerful tone of voice, albeit not like Kobo Kanaeru type of cheerfulness. And Moona also has this sort of alter ego named "Hoshinova", which would seem to randomly take over her body when she's particularly in a bad mood from the start of the day. 180 degree in difference to what Moona is, Hoshinova is often labeled as "big-sister" version of Moona; Hoshinova has that deep and smooth big-sister-like voice and sadistic tendencies, and her body changed from usual petite and average height to be taller and overall sexier in Hoshinova form.

Even though Moona is seen to be calm, collected, and cold-headed, scary things like horror movies and horror games isn't her cup of tea; hence, she rarely does horror games stream at all even when persuaded by other talent. She could speak Japanese, even though just a little. Her group of fans who choose her as oshi is called "Moonafic", which sometimes is joked by Indonesian since it has similar pronunciation to the word of "Liar" in Indonesia, which is: "Munafik." Moona favorite genre of game is construction / building simulator, such as The Sims or Minecraft; and Moona is one of the more better builder in the entire Hololive talent across all region, hence why she is recruited by another Hololive talent from Hololive Japan region: Usada Pekora, to be her construction team in Minecraft and other building game both Pekora and Moona played together in stream and outside stream. A closer look at her mouth expose her small moe fangs, albeit its rarely visible due to how tiny it is. Moona also has a incredibly big appetite, as she once tweeted in her Twitter to eat an entire 12 boxes of Fried Chicken all by herself. Moona's birthday is at 15 February, making her zodiac sign Aquarius.

Moona appearance is distinguishable from others, in the best way possible: Moona stood at slightly higher height than average woman her age at 165cm and has body weight that's relatively light, only at 48 kgs. Moona has a long and wavy purple hair with white specks across it that make her hair looks like cosmos with golden gradient toward the middle to the end on the inner side of her hair. Moona's eyes also has the same color of her hair: She has primarily purple colored eyes with golden gradient at the middle to the bottom, and her eyes is rarely opened widely as her eyes stayed half lidded almost every single time that reflect her sheer calm demeanor and attitude. She had purple colored nails; neatly trimmed to not disturb her writings when studying. For outfit, Moona wore traditional Japanese school uniform with primarily dark blue and white color and purple colored tie around the collar with matching color of skirt, finished with black choker around her neck and school Oxford shoes.
