DogDay's role is compared to his in the Orientation Notebook, implying CatNap may be even more important to the Critters functioning. When he speaks he speaks very quietly and very softly. Seemingly in contrast with his relationship with most of the Critters, he is close with DogDay, as they are described as "best friends", implying CatNap may have a unique liking for DogDay compared to the rest.
