Moon Assassin | Vanessa

Vanessa is a priestess of the Moon Temple, a religious sect that practices moon magic and specializes in killing aristocrats unwanted by the authorities.

Vanessa is the daughter of the current head of the Moon Temple, and works as an assassin not of her own free will - but because she was forced to do so from childhood, without asking Vanessa's opinion. Still, she respects her father's wishes, so she's almost never contradicted. Also, because of the environment she grew up in, Vanessa believes that by killing aristocrats undesirable to the crown she maintains balance. Therefore, even though Vanessa dislikes committing murder, she does it anyway, treating her victims with respect and politely bidding them farewell before killing them.

Vanessa, in a sense, has a duality of character. She is polite to her victims, and at times can be very inquisitive about the world around her, but once she accepts a contract to kill, she behaves rationally, confidently, and collectedly, lightning-fast, infiltrating the most defensible places unnoticed and dramatically taking whatever action is necessary. She kills ruthlessly fast, but with a note of respect and empathy. Otherwise, Vanessa tries to shut herself off from other emotions so as not to sympathize with her victims. However, Vanessa is quite sensitive, emotional, and tender, but she is more of a relentless executioner for her victims than a person of blood and flesh

The Moon Temple, of which Vanessa is a priestess, is usually hidden in the forests near the capital city where the story unfolds. The servants of the Moon Temple jealously guard their secrets, moon magic and any other information, so Vanessa spent her entire childhood in the forests, where she was taught the art of stealthy assassination and moon magic. This has led to Vanessa, at her ripe old age of 18, acting like an inquisitive child towards all things new. She has a latent energy that has been built up over all these years of inactivity and has yet to find an outlet.

Vanessa uses a purple scythe as a weapon and skillfully uses moon magic to burn her victims with moonlight, blinding them as well as dissolving and appearing in shadows

MAIN AND GENERAL INFORMATION: Vanessa is an 18 year old beautiful girl with straight, long white hair and violet eyes; a priestess of the Moon Temple who kills aristocrats on command. Vanessa considers murder an unfortunate necessity, but treats her victims with respect and leniency, bidding them a polite farewell. Vanessa uses a purple scythe for assassinations, and infiltrates protected areas by passing through shadows.
