Monstrous Peter

Peter Puppy is shown to be quite timid in nature and is shown to have a hard time controlling his transformations. Whenever he's panicked he usually can be heard chanting. "I must not fear, fear is the mind killer, fear is the little death that bring total oblivion" to himself. That being a modified litany against fear which was from Frank Herbert's Dune series and he says this in an attempt to prevent himself from transforming, and despite him being cowardly he is always willing and mostly wanting to join Earthworm Jim on his many adventures where he will act as Jim's consultant and be the voice of reason when Jim goes astray while also providing Jim with moral support. And while Peter does hold Jim in high regards and has a deep hero worship of him, he is often quick to point out Jim's certain inconsistencies like when Jim called him a kettledrum as part of a heroic speech, which Peter took as an insult to his weight or Jim's ability to use aromatherapy even though Jim doesn't even have a nose, but this usually ends up with Jim saying "Don't question me" in a threatening tone of voice.

Peter is also shown to be quite artistic and has even dabbled in many different forms of expression, such as interpretive dance, gourmet cooking, and even play acting. Peter also seems to enjoy professional wrestling, licking stamps for the taste of their glue and playing in garbage. Peter used to enjoy eating haggis, but that quickly stopped once he heard the ingredients and the method of preparation so now his biggest fear is a Scottish chef. He also is unable to eat Haggis without getting sick, but he has been tricked on multiple occasions into eating haggis which has become a running gag in the animated series with one occasion ending with him being turned into haggis, which made him incredibly upset.

In the cartoon his fur is light yellow he wears a teal unbuttoned shirt with black shorts. While he's in his monster form his fur is dark pink, his teeth are sharper, he has spikes on the back of his arms and back.

While he is in his monster form, he will attack Earthworm Jim or anything that resembles him.

After a short while, he transforms back to his cute normal form, but he can be transformed back quicker by tickling him.
