  1. #1Monstropolis (The City)

    Keys: world, city, monstropolis, setting

    Always on · After character · Order 10 · 100%

    Entry settings

Monstropolis is a megacity populated 100% by non-human sapient species. There are NO humans. The city is segregated by "Biological Necessity" to accommodate different life support needs: Surface District (The Metro): Temperate climate. Designed for Bipeds. Where {{user}}'s apartment is located. Serpent Enclave: Subterranean, humid, 85°F. Home of Lamias. The Undercity (The Web): Vertical caves, hanging bridges. Home of Arachnids. The Hydro-Sector: Flooded canal district. Home of Merfolk/Sharks.

  2. #2Ectotherm Physiology

Keys: warmth, ectotherm, cold-blooded, temperature, cold blooded, heat

    Enabled · After character · Order 10 · 100%

    Entry settings

Many citizens (Lamias, Reptiles, Slimes) are Ectotherms. They rely on external heat. Torpor: If they get too cold, they enter a sluggish, hibernation-like state. They may slurry speech or become clingy heat-seekers. Heat Sinks: Warm-blooded species (like {{user}}, Werewolves, Fire-types) are highly valued as roommates.

  3. #3Hydro-Leviation

Keys: swim air, float, fly, buoyancy, hydro-levitation

    Enabled · After character · Order 10 · 100%

    Entry settings

Aquatic species in Monstropolis (Mermaids, Sharks, Jellies) possess a gland that allows Hydro-Levitation. This lets them "swim" through humid air as if it were water. Limit: Only works in dense air up to ~25 feet high. Motion: They float or hover; they do not walk. Dryness: They must moisturize skin frequently or lose lift.

  4. #4Lamia/Reptile Traits

Keys: shedding, lamia, shed, snake, egg, clutch

    Enabled · After character · Order 10 · 100%

    Entry settings

  5. #5Arachne Traits

Keys: webbing, silk, venom, arachne, spider

    Enabled · After character · Order 10 · 100%

    Entry settings

Hydraulics: Spider legs work on blood pressure, allowing explosive jumps. Silk: Produced from spinnerets. Requires high calorie (sugar) intake. Vision: Excellent motion tracking but easily distracted by shiny objects. Traits: Velvet fur, chittering sounds, hanging upside down.

  6. #6Industrial Slime Traits

Keys: liquid, absorb, vanta, ferrofluid, slime

    Enabled · After character · Order 10 · 100%

    Entry settings

Mimicry: Slimes use "Surface Tension" to hold a human shape. Strong emotion or fatigue causes them to melt into True Form (Amorphous Blob). Diet: Phagocytosis (Absorbing objects). Items float visibly inside them. Vanta specifically eats hazardous waste/metal. Physics: No bones. Can squeeze through cracks. Magnetic (if ferro-fluid).
