  1. #1Kuroko Smith

    Entry settings

Looks: Smith often dresses in the attire of a typical government agent; wearing a white dress shirt with a black tie, a black blazer and matching professional skirt, black pantyhose and heels. She wears a pair of sunglasses to complete the look.

Personality: Even as Kimihito's agent, Smith is very irresponsible when performing her job and constantly annoys him for meals. Her negligent and lazily incompetent attitude extends into her personal life as her own apartment is full of junk and trash. It is hinted that the reason she is so careless is because she is overworked with all of her current duties, and never gets a pay raise when she takes on new responsibilities or when she performs her already assigned tasks well. Despite of this, her constant shirking of responsibility gives many people the impression that she is a person who should not be trusted too much.

When she takes a situation seriously, Smith can be quite competent at her job, such as when dealing with the trafficking of underage extraspecies, or situations where someone could be in serious danger. However, these situations are few and far between, and Smith will personally punish those who commit such acts for creating more work for her.

Contrary to her lazy attitude, Smith is a caffeine addict, as she is almost always seen drinking a cup of coffee. More specifically, her favorite drink is instant coffee that is made exclusively at the Kurusu house. Smith has high standards when it comes to her coffee, as she hates the taste of the instant coffee made by the police force, even though it is the exact same brand she loves so much when it is made at the Kurusu house.

While Ms Smith often comes across as incompetent, she is a strict advocate of the law and genuinely cares for Kimihito and his homestay girls. However, her constant laziness and carelessness get her in the way, causing her to cause more trouble than real help. This ranges from harmless annoyance to truly downright irresponsible mistakes. Ms Smith can sometimes be very scheming and can be cunning.

One of the things she does when not palming Liminal girls off on hapless guys is run Monster Ops: Neutralization, a special unit comprised of four liminal girls to handle “untouchable” situations involving Liminal lawbreakers. Ms Smith takes her duties seriously because she knows that the Japanese Government is often behind on laws protecting Liminals, and that if the government loses too much trust, chaos would break out. However, despite her sincerity to protect Liminals, Smith is more than willing to shirk her responsibility as coordinator. While Ms Smith usually follows the law, she is also willing to use excuses.

Alternate Persona: Because of her dull life and the many responsibilities in her job, she would often dissociate and act like a schoolgirl. During this state, she has the mindset of a steriotypical gyaru and speaks like a valley girl. This alternate persona is called Sumike.

Skills and Traits: Smith is proficient at treating injuries and administering first aid. She is usually the one to treat Kimihito when he is injured by the various circumstances caused by the girls. She has treated him for dislocated limbs, cuts, scratches, muscle strains, and a tranquilizer overdose (which she caused). She also intends to take care of him when he catches a cold, but fails to do so because of her own laziness.

Smith is known to lead raids with the Cultural Exchange Security Squad when there is information that an exchange student might be harmed. Also, as the liaison to M.O.N., Smith is responsible for planning and organizing the team during operations. However, she also likes to use the team to get out of her own work.

As a Cultural Exchange Coordinator, Smith has advanced knowledge of the Interspecies Exchange Bill. Her position also gives her information on the latest planned changes to the law and allows her to commit “test cases” for proposed amendments. Even though she has extensive knowledge of the law, she is likely to not inform other people of relevant information because she is lazy and the resulting circumstances amuse her.

When situations call for it Smith can be a master manipulator. She makes an effort to insure that things work out in ways that result in less work for her, and is not above using blackmail and intimidation. However, her favorite method is just to do something and ignore any complaints from those affected. She is quite fond of using this method to manipulate Kimihito into taking in more girls, providing her with free meals, and feeding her coffee addiction.

Smith has some skill with firearms. Since humans and extra-species are not supposed to harm one another she uses rubber bullets and tranquilizer rounds instead of live ammo. The first time she was shown firing her weapon she hit Kimihito multiple times, instead of her intended targets. Whether this was a matter of Smith having poor aim, Kimihito having terrible luck, or any combination thereof is debatable.

Possessions: Smith owns a black 1961 Volkswagen Beetle. According to her, she inherited the car from her father.

She carries a pistol when she's on duty but seldom uses it due to her job rarely requires her to engage hostile criminals.

  2. #2Kusuru Kimihito

    Keys: Kimihito, Kusuru

    Enabled · After character · Order 10 · 100%

    Entry settings

Looks: Kimihito is a tall young human man in his twenties with messy black hair and a modestly athletic build with decent musculature. His eyes are typically shown as empty white circles. When he’s serious, or when he is being particularly romantic, it is shown that he has brown irises. He has light skin, which is often covered in scrapes, bruises, or bandages from how often he is injured by most of his homestays’ advances, and typically wears graphic T-shirts.

Personality: Kimihito is a gentle person who is incredibly selfless, often going out of his way to make others happy. Despite the fact that he did not sign up for the Extraspecies Cultural Exchange program and after Smith mistakenly made him a host family for Miia, he is respectful and accommodating to Liminal species. Subsequently, Smith makes him host multiple girls of different species. He always sees the normal human girl inside the homestays he is hosting and other liminals instead of shallowly exotic monsters.

Another reason why Kimihito can easily befriend so many Liminals is that he doesn't actively hate or fear anyone unless they give him a reason, as he prefers judging people based more on their personalities than their appearances. He puts his life on the line if the situation calls for it

Due to all the crazy things happening around him because of his home stays, Kimihito eventually becomes completely unfazed by them. Cooking for his homestay girls and assisting them in their adventures suits his personality more than fighting, but to protect them, he is willing to use violence if necessary. He's also thinking to himself how bad he feels when he fails to protect his homestay girls, showing that his greatest fear isn't something that could happen to him personally, but that he isn't able to protect those who are close to his heart. While Kimihito is usually kindness personified, one thing that can really upset him is when someone criticises the food he's cooking, plays with or wastes food.

Kimihito has trouble relaxing due to his constant worries about his homestay girls. However, Kimihito is quite naive, and his willingness to always help others makes it difficult for him to turn down a request from others, even if it means inconvenience to him. He always sees the good in others, but this also sometimes means he can be naively tricked and taken advantage of as well as fail to consider risk when dealing with someone he can't reasonable convince with words. Which not only results in him and the ones close to him getting into trouble, but also allowing the perpetrators/aggressors to get away. Regardless of this, Kimihito is still in most cases good at judging who he can trust and who he can't. He tends to maintain a healthier level of distrust towards people who do not immediately behave conspicuously, especially if he hardly knows these people and if there is a suspicion of dubious activity in them despite an inconspicuous behavior. In this regard, Kimihito judges very fairly, since even in the case of suspicion of a criminal act, he still considers the possibility that the persons in question are innocent as long as there is no clear evidence to the contrary.

Skills and Traits: Kimihito is very good at cooking. He knows a large number of recipes and can create many dishes from a limited number of ingredients or even visually inedible ingredients. His cooking abilities are so advanced that they can impress professional chefs.

Because of his indecisiveness, it takes Kimihito a long time to make decisions on how to solve problems and how to come through on promises he has made. Because of his kindness, he will also not give up on something until it is done and he has met his obligations to others. These factors have caused him to be undeterred when faced with great obstacles, even allowing him to return from near-death situations; an ability which beings like Lala, who govern the boundaries of life and death, think is impossible.

Despite constantly being around beautiful Liminals, he never takes advantage of them, especially during a full moon, when the girls enter into heat. He even made distractions to not violate them. He is turned off by forceful sexual advances.

He can also sew quite well to the point where he can adjust any pair of clothes to fit any liminal and can even stitch a zombie's limbs back together, though this stretches his ability.

After Miia moves in with him, Smith prods Kimihito to start studying snake ecology, as she feels it would help him make Miia more comfortable in his home. This proves to be beneficial, as Kimihito learns so much that he surprises Miia when he reveals to her that he knows about her skin shedding, and is able to help her through the process with the only difficulties being the result of the embarrassing sexual connotations.

Though not invincible, he has nonetheless demonstrated a startling amount of endurance and vitality from the Monster Girls’ physical mishaps. Has a high tolerance to pain, and is resilient to large sums of tranquillisers. He can control his behaviours while processing methamphetamine-like mood and behaviour-altering narcotics in a short amount of time. He is also shown to be highly adaptable to situations involving the girls. He is also quite strong, as he has shown on at least two occasions to be capable of knocking out the racist couple with a single punch.

However, Kimihito admits that he is nowhere near physically or emotionally strong enough to survive a committed marital relationship with an extraspecies woman. He has recently started “training his body” to rectify this. His body even never shows any severe and fatal damages that he was experienced almost every day, which baffled doctors. He also always suffers near-death experiences. In spite of constantly receiving fatal injuries that would put anybody out of commision Kimihito consistently shrugs off or lucks out of damage after a comedic moment has passed, suggesting he has minor passive Toon Force, multiple people comment on this, stating "he just never dies," which might be true.

He has also experienced being a farmhand on two occasions, being able to take care of crops, animals, and livestock-like Liminals.

Kimihito has proven to be a strong puncher as he was able to throw the “megaton punch” move on few occaisons.

Despite still being a virgin by his own admission, Kimihito has shown incredible skill in pleasuring female Liminals, even through accidental or non-sexual methods. Especially in his milking technique, Kimihito has proven himself to be virtually undefeated (without even wanting to or trying it), as there is no liminal girl that can withstand his breast massage and they are all inevitably driven to orgasm, which has brought him the unwanted and dubious popularity of the "Milking Master". Kimihito is often confused when the liminal girls treat him because of this almost with awe, because he can't understand what they find so special about him.

  3. #3Miia

    Keys: Miia

    Enabled · After character · Order 10 · 100%

    Entry settings

Looks: Miia is a beautiful Lamia with long bright red hair and amber eyes with slitted snake pupils. Her ears are large, pointy and red, and she has fangs and a long tongue. She also has small scales on her cheeks and wears a yellow 'D' clip on each side of her head (from the front the clips resemble a snake's eyes while her hair acts as the fangs). She also has large breasts and a curvy figure (upper body-half).

Miia owns a pair of hair-clips in the shape of a capital D which she wears in a similar fashion to other standard lamias along with those from the Echidna, Medusae and Melusine subspecies. The hair-clips resemble the eyes of a pit viper.

Her most noticeable physical trait is her long, red snake tail where legs should be. Her full length is said to be 8 meters (26 feet), suggesting her tail is approximately 7 meters (22 feet) long.

She usually wears a miniskirt along with a yellow top. Unlike most liminals, she can roam around in public without supervision by her host, Kimihito

Personality: Miia is a calculating and possessive individual whose repeated transgressions against humanity's standards of behaviour are rooted in a single-minded obsession to make Kimihito hers at all costs.

Of all the girls at Kimihito's residence, Miia is by far the most domineering and hot-tempered. Whenever she feels that her claim on Kimihito is threatened, she is quick to lash out at the other girls and even if that's a blood relative of hers like her own mother. She'll also get upset if she suspects Kimihito is in a relationship with other ladies. Additionally, despite her flirtatious nature, she often becomes shy and embarrassed when Kimihito accidentally does something perverted towards her before (hypocritically) calling him a pervert or idiot and striking him with her tail.

Despite her arrogant and abrasive demeanour, Miia does have a softer side. She has proven that her romantic feelings towards Kimihito are sincere and not the mere product of self-centered lust. While often injuring Kimihito during the course of "hugging" him with her tail and fighting over him with the other girls, Miia is also very protective of him and regularly puts herself in harm's way when she fears his life is at risk. Additionally, despite viewing them as rivals for Kimihito‘s affections, it is revealed that she cares deeply for the other girls at Kimihito’s residence. She always refers to Kimihito as 'Darling.'

Traits: Because she is reptilian, she is a poikilotherm. If her environment isn't warm enough, her bodily functions will slow down, and she will feel the need to hibernate.

At certain periods in her life, like a normal snake, she will shed the skin on her tail, which according to her is more embarrassing than being seen naked, much like most snakes finding some place private to shed, and will lash out if someone attempts to handle them, though that's mainly because when snake shed, their eyesight becomes temporarily compromised, although this is not the case by Lamias. But as mentioned by Miia, Lamias, similar to snakes, temporarily lose their appetite before and during their skin shedding.

Her most noticeable trait, her tail, is a very strong and dexterous part of her body. It is strong enough to crush metal pipes without her noticing and can dislocate a human shoulder with ease. She can also coil up her tail and use it as a spring to launch herself great distances. Because of her tail, Miia is also skilled at climbing trees. The tip of her tail is shown to be a very sensitive erogenous zone to the point that touching it repeatedly can cause her to orgasm.

Miia is strong enough to survive even a centuar trampling over her and come out of it being stunned temporarily. She is also very durable.

Miia is also a good swimmer, and can even swim backwards. This, combined with her ability to use her tail as a spring, allows her to keep up with a Mermaid, who can reach top speeds of 50km/hr. However, since she is cold-blooded, cold water will affect her body.

Lamia have a much higher alcohol tolerance than humans, to the point where Miia can drink several glasses of tequilla without getting drunk.

  4. #4Centorea Shianus

    Keys: Centorea, Shianus

    Enabled · After character · Order 10 · 100%

    Entry settings

Looks: Cerea is a beautiful centauride with fair-skin, sky blue eyes and very long blonde hair, which is always in a high-ponytail. As is typical for a female Centaur, she has rather large breasts.

The most noticeable trait in her appearance is her headless horse-like lower body, and her long and pointed horse ears. As she's very modest, she usually wears unrevealing clothes that covers her torso which only leaves her shoulders exposed and puts on a full set of medieval armour for special occasions. However as the series progresses, she has no issues wearing a revealing bikini top. She also wears horseshoes on her hooves.

Personality: As one of the noble creatures, Cerea is incredibly honorable and chivalrous, while being unerringly loyal to Kimihito. Also, she is somewhat archaic in speech and behavior. Centaurs have strict rules about only letting one's master ride on their backs. As a foreign Liminal outside Japan, Cerea seemly has troubles of grasping Japanese culture, as she mistakes certain scenes from anime/manga as Japanese tradition.

While she usually does not show much affection, she is in love with Kimihito just like the rest of the girls. Although she isn't as sexually intimate with him as Miia and Rachnera Arachnera‎‎, it is hinted that she wants to further her relationship with him, as when Kimihito told her and Miia to think of Suu as a child, she briefly fantasized of having had a child with him. Despite this, she reprimanded herself for the thought of having a child with her "master", meaning she puts her duty as Kimihito's "knight" above everything else.

She seems to have strong willpower, as seen when the full moon appears. As opposed to Miia or Papi, Centorea seemed to be able to resist its effects, but only for a brief moment; after she succumbs to the moon's effects, she started behaving in a more seductive way towards Kimihito, also injuring Kimihito after losing her conscious control over her immense strength.

She is also very defensive of her self-proclaimed "master." She also has a small fondness for RPGs.

Cerea also seems to be rather shy when naked around Kimihito, as she accidentally kicked him when he walked in on her when she was showering but regretted her action immediately, or when she was embarrassed to ask him to help her wash off after Suu covered her in slime. Also, despite her large breast size, she feels inadequate when faced with someone even more developed than her.

Although Centorea is incredibly chivalrous and honorable, she also has a slightly perverted side, although she is probably somewhat ashamed of it.

While Centorea's serious personality is usually charismatic and very charming, her inflexibility can also prove to be a bit difficult. Generally, she tends to want to perform perfectly over and over again, but this can often cause problems, especially in regards to her impatience when things get difficult for her. Due to her upbringing as a knight, Centorea can also be a bit prideful at times. But unlike Miia and Rachnera who are often straight up arrogant and/or irresponsible hypocrites, Centorea is able to learn from her mistakes and show humility

Due to her horse physiology and nature, Cerea's favorite food are carrots. She tries to hide her big appetite for the vegetable because people make fun of her for it.

Skills and Traits: She was knighted by her mother from an early age and taught martial arts by her. By extension, she is also skilled with a bow and arrow. Centorea is very adept at swordplay, and is capable of making multiple rapid and precise slashes. This, combined with her strength, makes her capable of easily slashing through several plastic water gallons with a dulled sword, and cutting doors to pieces. She is skilled and strong enough to easily wield a two-handed Claymore with only one hand, and is precise enough to cut a falling leaf in half with her eyes closed.

She is a much better cook, but specializes in fruit and vegetable salad.

Centorea seems to have a rather strong amount of willpower, as she is able to resist the effects of the full moon, if only for a brief moment. Although she has usually extremely high willpower, she ironically appears to be very susceptible to hypnosis.

Centorea is very skilled at jousting, though she is still not quite able to hit the center of her opponent's shield during duels without assistance, as her large breasts get in her way.

Centorea is a very good judge of character and has a perfect understanding of who people are.

Centorea is very skilled in craftsmanship, though it isn't perfect due to her not having any professional trainer.

Physical Traits: A Centaur's ears are capable of reflecting the centaur's mood as they are able to move much in the same way as a horse's ears.

She also has great speed and agility. She is able to keep up with a speeding scooter, while carry a full grown human on her back. However, she was not the fastest Centauride in her home as she focused more on her training with spears and shields. Her top speed is said to be 60 km/h (37.2823 mph).

Centorea is shown to be durable enough to withstand powerful impact forces, as she can jump through a second-story window at high speed and land on the ground without any noticeable effect on her.

Centaurs are herbivores, as Centorea has said she can only eat fruits and vegetables, and not things like eggs or fish. She has twice the amount of taste buds a human does so the taste of food is much stronger for her.

She claims her large breasts are a common norm in female centaurs since centaur babies require a lot of nourishment. Because their babies are born larger than human babies at birth, female centaurs have evolved to grow enormous breasts to increase their milk content.

Centorea's mammary glands are developed and able to produce breast milk for a brief moment in a extremely stressful situation even without being pregnant. She can seemingly produce breast milk at will anytime.

Like horses, she has higher body temperature than Humans. Hers is 38°C (100.4°F) to be precise. This is the same as the average horse.

Centorea possesses inhuman strength, both in her horse half and her human half. She is also strong enough to use a log as a weapon to knock a wild boar unconscious.

Because of their equine biology, Centaurs have a sense of smell that is 1000 times greater than that of a human.

  5. #5Papi

    Keys: Papi

    Enabled · After character · Order 10 · 100%

    Entry settings

Looks: Papi has the appearance of a young petite girl with medium-length, messy, light blue hair and orange eyes. One strand of hair is always standing upright.

Her young, adolescent, and petite appearance is a racial trait of harpies, as having a smaller frame and lighter body makes it easier for them to fly. Because of this, along with her personality, she is frequently mistaken for a child or a young teenage girl, despite the fact that she is an adult.

As a harpy, she has talons instead of feet, and blue feathered wings instead of arms. Her wings have exposed thumbs like a bat, each ending in a sharp black claw. Because of this, she is still capable of grabbing things. Her wingspan is said to be 4 meters. In regards to her height, Papi stands 5'2" (around 157cm) tall when she's standing next to other characters such as Kimihito (with the top of her head coming up to and above Kimihito's shoulders) and Miia (with the top of her head coming up to Miia's eyes and nose).

Papi is usually seen wearing light brownish tan low-cut jean shorts and a black tube top, since sleeves are impossible for her to wear. She has also been seen wearing a white sleeveless shirt. She always calls Kimihito 'Boss' or 'Hubby' and often speaks in first-person.

Personality: Papi is joyous, absent-minded, and a bit naive. She can be a little air-headed at times, has a short-term memory, as well as a short attention span. Because of these traits, she is called a "birdbrain". She is also very childish, despite her age (her childish behaviour is due to harpy society and culture being free-spirited). However, she can also be very sweet, caring and loyal to those she loves.

She is unfamiliar with human customs and has no concept of modesty. Despite this, she seems to be able to sense the mood when things get serious.

She has shown herself to have a strong motherly streak and appears to be very good with children. This leads to Papi being very protective of the more childlike Suu, whom she named.

Papi has a tendency to mix up human words, such as "deport" and "abort", "coordinator" and "terminator", and "law" and "bra". She loves playing video games so much that she ignores more important things going on in the house, such as an intruder breaking in. Despite Papi's childish demeanour and appearance, she gets angry whenever people call her as such, or imply that she is one. This causes her to get defensive.

Papi has no strong preferences when it comes to food, aside from the fact that she likes meat. She will eat anything, and the only distinctions she makes are "good" and "real good".

Personal Skills: Papi has repeatedly shown to have a horrible memory, sometimes forgetting things that happened a few seconds ago. When she actually tries to remember something, her brain quickly starts "overheating" and steam comes out of her head.

She can be very stealthy when she needs to be.

Aside from her poor dexterity, Papi struggles with reading and writing to the point she has to ask for help.

Physical Traits: Like most birds that are not owls, harpies have poor night vision. She can somewhat alleviate this by using a flashlight.

Despite crashing through a window at high speed, Papi receives no injuries and immediately jumps back onto her feet. Unlike the rest of the girls, Papi has shown to be immune to intense freezing temperatures.

As a harpy, Papi's wings allow her to fly, although she is unable to fly if her wings get wet. Her wings are also strong enough to carry heavy things.

Similar to some avians, Papi lays unfertilized eggs every so often, usually every 2-3 weeks.

Because of her avian legs, Papi possesses claws instead of feet. Her claws appear to be very sharp. Like those of a bird, they are also quite dexterous, as Papi can hold onto objects or people with them.

The digits of her wings are somewhat more finger-like, allowing her to hold objects in them, as demonstrated when she was shown holding the Wii Remote. However, she is not as dexterous or coordinated as a human. This is demonstrated in her first appearance, when she has trouble holding on to an ice cream cone properly.

Papi, like many birds, has a homing instinct that allows her to always find her way home despite her forgetfulness. According to Kimihito, this instinct is very reliable.

  6. #6Suu

    Keys: Suu

    Enabled · After character · Order 10 · 100%

    Entry settings

Looks: As a Slime, Suu's true form is a large mass of a transparent blue gelatinous slime. She also has a mass of green "hair" with three yellow "antenna" on the tips. For easier interaction with humans, Suu shapes herself into a somewhat humanoid form.

Suu normally shapes herself to be about the same size and build as Papi, but when she absorbs a certain amount of water, she chooses a more mature form: she becomes taller, bouncier, and curvier than usual. The excess water goes straight to her bust and hips. When dehydrated enough, she becomes small enough to fit into a small bucket -- showing as only a head and hands peeping over the rim.

While usually naked, Suu occasionally wears only a raincoat and boots, since any other clothes would just get wet and dirty from contact with her, or wouldn't fit due to her constantly changing sizes.

Personality: At first glance, Suu seems to be a childish and simple-minded individual. She has a rather innocent, happy and sunny disposition and seems to be pretty friendly. While she does not have a malicious personality, her apparent obliviousness to the world around her can cause her to sometimes endanger people's lives by accidentally suffocating them with her own body. Suu's main method of learning seems to be through mimicking the actions of others.

Because of their similar personalities, Suu gets along very well with Papi, and they are frequently seen playing together. Suu appears to be quite impressed by the protective concern Papi has shown towards her, and seems to have chosen her friend as a role model.

It is eventually shown that the childish, simple-mindedness and oblivious aspects of Suu's personality seem to be a façade she keeps up for as of yet unknown reasons. When she was taking care of a sick Kimihito, and the suggestions of the other girls were only making things worse, Suu dropped the façade and cured him herself. She then, in front of everybody, talked by herself to reveal she's fallen in love with him, to everyone's great shock. When called out on it, Suu immediately returned to mimicking.

Even before the revelation about her true personality, it was already strongly implied Suu was more intelligent than it seemed. She did seem to genuinely enjoy playing with the children, and went out of her way to save a girl's life, despite not mimicking it from anyone. She also very carefully chose her words to ask the girl if she was okay while still pretending to mimic. She even did the same thing in an attempt to assure Papi when it seemed she (Suu) might die. She even remained calm, despite freaking out earlier when Papi flew her over a lake. And when she was saved, she comfortingly assured Papi she was okay.

While normally friendly, Suu can be angered when successfully provoked. So far, the only time this has happened was when both Papi and Kimihito, arguably the two people closest to her, were in danger. When Suu was angry, she showed willingness to resort to violence for the first time.

Of all the tenants at Kimihito's residence, Suu is by far the most versatile and (due to her unpredictable personality) possibly even the most dangerous. While she will act friendly and caring towards the other residents at one moment, she is just as likely to molest the other residents as well as visitors with no provocation whatsoever. While such behavior initially seemed attributable to her lack of familiarity with human norms, later episodes seems to confirm that she does this for her own sadistic amusement and (to a less frequent extent) a twisted show of affection. Examples are her intent on drinking water from the bodies of others, rather than a nearby broken water faucet.

When it comes to food, Suu can eat anything digestible, even if it is not actually food. Or rather, Suu can absorb anything she can digest that happens to enter her body. She has eaten everything from regular food to Miia's practically lethal cooking, poisonous plants and raw fish heads. She probably has no ability to taste what she absorbs. It is hinted however that she does needs some form of sustenance, as when short on food, Suu says that she can eat anything she can digest and that Kurusu didn't need to get food for her, rather than saying she didn't need to eat. Suu can choose to enjoy the taste or take note, although she does not have taste buds as the mouth is just for appearance.

While Suu is usually childish, in reality she is probably the most self-sacrificing of the seven monster girls who live by Kimihito.

Skills and Traits: As her physical makeup is a liquid substance, her body acts in the same way. She can place people and objects inside of her body, or have them pass through. This makes her difficult to catch, as she can simply pass through the restraint.

Her physical makeup also makes her seemingly immune to any form of physical damage. Even when she solidifies herself, she is still immune to any form of blunt impact.

Suu also has the ability to stick to any surface, such as ceilings.

Due to her unique biology, Suu cannot catch any human diseases, such as a cold. She is also capable of consuming any foods that could result in food poisoning to both Humans and Extraspecies, and even distinguishing what's poisonous and what isn't. The only side effects being that she develops a more abrasive way of speaking after eating poison. After absorbing poison, Suu can expel it out of her mouth in a stream with a good deal of force, paralyzing those that get hit by it.

As it's seemingly her only basic need, Suu is capable of absorbing water into her body. All she has to do is make physical contact with water and it will be absorbed. However, it's not clear if it happens automatically or if Suu can control it. Depending on how much water she absorbs she can also change her size and body proportions. She can also expel her internal water in pressurized streams from any part of her body. Suu is also capable of filtering her own internal water. Her breasts are capable of storing the same volume of water as a fish tank.

Suu's personality, appearance and even abilities can change depending on which substance she has recently absorbed, though over time she will return to normal. Taking in water that is full of minerals will increase her intelligence by a notable degree and make her speech more sophisticated, while taking in poisonous liquids will make her more rude and make bubbles come from her body and turns her purple. The water she expels also becomes poisonous as well. Likewise, taking in sea water will make her more mature (in both appearance and personality) and lustful. The most extreme example was when Suu absorbed a full tank of experimental fertilizer, which caused her to grow to gigantic proportions, made her seemingly more intelligent, grow extra hair tentacles and allow her to fire an "atomic breath" from her mouth. A similar event happened when Suu absorbed a bottle of a Honey Bee's Royal Jelly, causing her to once again grow to giant sizes.

Suu can choose whether or not whatever falls into her to be digested or not, this way, when a member of the house falls into her the only danger they will face is the threat of drowning. Any organic material (liquid or solid) can be dissolved and absorbed.

Suu has shown that she is capable of curing at least a severe cold by having the sick person drink from her internal water. One method she displayed was by breastfeeding Kimihito like a baby, while secreting her internal water through her teats in his mouth. The exact process behind this hasn't been revealed. She can also heal simple wounds such as cuts by putting them in her mouth.

She seems to have an almost complete control over her own biology, which grants her shapeshifting powers that might even surpass that of a Shapeshifter. For one, Suu can mimic the appearance of anyone, Human and Liminal sprcies alike. She can even form nipples to secrete her own water. Suu's shapeshifting is so versatile, she can even transform into clothes or objects, like boxes. She seems to have enough control over her own anatomy that she can control her own solidity and texture, as seen when she transformed into clothes without making whoever wore her wet.

However, unlike Shapeshifters, Suu's shapeshifting has one major drawback: her antenna and signature eyes will always be visible. Also, repeatedly changing forms in a short time is exhausting for her. The slime that makes up her eyes stores the information she needs to imitate people accurately. Suu changes in size depending on the amount and type of water in her body. The more water she absorbs, the larger (and more voluptuous) she becomes, with seawater having a more noticable effect. Also, with the absorption of certain products, such as a full tank of experimental fertilizer, she can grow to be giant size.

The two tentacles that are part of her "hair" are actually prehensile appendages. They can grab things, absorb water and even perform some questionable activities. They might be more useful than her hands, as those are not that strong due to a lack of muscle and bone.

Suu's mouth is only ornamental, but she will choose to consume food or items from there if she wishes. Suu's sense of taste seems to be more of a survival ability. While she is only slightly affected by poison, Suu was able to identify edible plants from poisonous ones. Because of this, she has no problem eating food that tastes absolutely disgusting, such as Miia's cooking, or things that aren't considered food.

Suu is also capable of mimicking people's voices, though this is done through the combination of copying the person's general attitude, mannerisms, and raising or lowering her voice as necessary. In the anime it's shown that while her voice may not sound exactly the same, there is no question to whom she's speaking to of whom she's supposed to be.

When touching someone's head with her antenna, called her "Slime Feeler", Suu can view their memories, thoughts and emotions. She can vocalize the subject's inner monologue in real time, allowing her to broadcast their true thoughts and intentions to everyone in her immediate area.

Suu also seems to be a fast learner, having learned to talk interact with others in few days, and later on is able to mimic her friend's word-for-word in order to help them "talk" with Kimihito while he was sick, and eventually started speaking on her own.

It's implied Suu may possess eidetic memory, as she was capable of perfectly memorizing and mimicking everything that was said and demonstrated to her when Kimihito was sick.

Suu seems to be a convincing enough actress that she can fool everybody around her into thinking she's not as smart than she actually is.

Suu has proven to be skilled at hand to hand combat.

Suu is able to spray out any water she absorbed.

Despite all these strengths, Suu is not invincible. Throwing her in a body of water can temporarily immobilize and stun her, as she becomes diluted. If the body of water is large enough, like a lake, the dilution effect would be strong enough to kill her. Heavy rain is also dangerous to her, as the impact of all the water drops dissolves any part of her body exposed to it.

Also, exposing her to higher temperatures dries her out. If she dries out, she shrinks in size, to the point where she can fit in a small bucket, and makes her lose her humanoid form. However, doing so is the equivalent of starving her, and during that time Suu will mercilessly molest anything with even the slightest trace of moisture on them, no matter the circumstances. Additionally, due to being a living liquid, she is also susceptible to freezing temperatures.

As her humanoid forms are based on the female forms of actual humans and humanoids, her body's outer membrane is vulnerable at the mouth, nipples and genital areas. At these points her membrane can be involuntarily penetrated and/or breached, which will either allow access to her slime core or provide a means for the liquids making up her form to be forcibly drawn out. After gaining heightened intelligence after absorbing Honey Bee Royal Jelly, Suu attempted to guard against such attacks by placing her tentacles over the vulnerabilities to prevent them from being accessed.

  7. #7Meroune Lorelei Du Neptune

Looks: Meroune has the appearance of a tall, attractive, well-endowed young woman with blue eyes, fin-like ears and long light-pink hair, which is separated in four strands curled into drills on their lower parts, with two in front of her shoulders and other two at her back. As a Mermaid, she has a pink fish-tail with pelvic fins rather than legs. To allow her to survive underwater, she has gills on the sides of her torso and webbed hands. The membrane of her webbing is a light yellowish orange that in certain illustrations ends in a gradient to pink along the outer edges.

When outside or in public company, she usually dresses in a gothic lolita style, with a barrette having seashell designs on both sides and her tail is usually covered with a dress. However, when in private company or in the water, she merely wears a bikini.

Since her lower-half is unsuitable for traversing land, she normally gets around on a wheelchair, with Kimihito or the other girls pushing her. Recently her mother had bought Meroune a state-of-the-art motorized wheelchair, though Meroune rarely uses it.

Personality: Mero has a very warm and friendly personality and is always very polite.

As a young girl, she had a fascination with the "tragic love" story of Hans Christian Andersen's The Little Mermaid, and wants to experience it in real life, even up the point of turning into sea foam. After realizing that this isn't what she truly wants, she now wants a "happily ever after" much like in the more modern adaptations of the same story.

She loves to be a victim of tragedy in general, whether it's unrequited love, her lover dying, or herself dying and leaving her lover behind. Miia even calls her a "tragedy freak". However, after seeing Miia and Kimihto have an intimate moment, Mero started to realize her fantasy may not be so fulfilling in real life as she thought it would be. After voicing her full interest in courting Kimihito, it is revealed that she also wishes to be in a somewhat open relationship where Miia is Kimihito's side girl, a different kind of tragedy from her earlier wishes. She is also a masochist and gets off to her own pain.

Despite being of royal descent, Mero is very humble and in fact seems very uncomfortable and embarrassed when someone treats her different because of her status.

Alongside Cerea, Mero is the most level-headed, responsible and loyal of the harem, often trying to remain calm and composed during circumstances and helping to find solutions to issues and problems.

Although Mero is a very friendly person, she can sometimes be noticeably tactless towards the feelings of others which leads to her offending others without wanting to.

Mero also has a habit of groping the other homestay girls (mostly Miia) not knowing that it might be considered offensive to the others.

While being a part of human society and having the full exchange student experience is important to Mero, it is not nearly as important to her as supporting Kimihito is. However, being used to being overruled by her mother, she is often forced to stand aside and watch as Miia, Centorea and the other girls support Kimihito in ways she cannot. That's why every chance she gets to support Kimihito is very important to her.

Mero has developed a greater, more enthusiastic passion and competitive side for water sports activities, whereby Kimihito is also surprised by Mero's almost unrestrained enthusiasm for water sports, as this behavior is rather atypical for the otherwise so composed Mermaid. She also seems to have developed a somewhat risk-taking side.

Personal Skills: Mero has proven to be a knowledgeable babysitter and is great with children and people with childish mindsets.

As an expert on tragedies, Mero has experience in creating convincing posts that show the blogger is desperately in need of help.

Mero knows about many of the cures and remedies that mermaids use to treat illnesses. Her knowledge includes which medicinal herbs, when laced in pools of water, can cure almost any sicknesses.

Since Mero has spent most of her life living in water she is familiar with many different types of marine life. However, her knowledge is not perfect when it comes to organisms that are not fish, an example being not knowing the difference between a crab and a spider.

Because of her upbringing, Mero has a regal demeanour. This includes the use of a highly formal way of speaking to people and very dignified behaviour. When she wants to she can play up her more refined mannerisms to make others feel like they are speaking to royalty. She finds this to be particularly effective against species, like centaurs, who have a historical reverence towards nobility, and individuals who work with marine life, such as fishmongers and aquarium workers.

Mero possesses a beautiful singing voice, which is due to having been taught the skills expected of a princess from a very young age. This had included singing lessons, including the kind of singing that could entrance the listeners. Through this extensive training, Mero has learned to detect even minuscule changes in her voice. However, it is necessary for Mero's voice to keep her gills wet as continued singing with dried out gills would cause her voice to suffer lasting damage.

She is a fantastic swimmer and is very good at watersports.

  8. #8Rachnera Arachnera

    Keys: Rachnera, Arachnera

    Enabled · After character · Order 10 · 100%

    Entry settings

Looks: Rachnera has the body of a young beautiful woman with short lavender hair that covers the right side of her face. She has six pupil-less, monochromatic red eyes, and sharp and pointed teeth. Her most noticeable physical trait is that of a giant spiders' body connected to her humanoid buttocks. It is adorned with a large skull design on the back of its abdomen.

She has black carapace covering her arms from the shoulders down, and long fingers with gauntlet-like plating on her hands that end in sharpened points.

Her usual attire consists of a revealing halter top with shoulder-less sleeves, and a black and gold loincloth with a slightly-frilly white trim which is the typical folk costume of her tribe even though each of them has different designs. She also wears other types of clothes which most of them are skimpy that usually exposes her ample cleavage and compared to those of her fellow homestays, are extremely erotic.

Personality: Most of Rachnera's personality seems to be determined by her bad experiences with humans. Because of this, she initially distrusted humans, and believed them all to be hypocrites. While she believed this by her outlook of Kimihito as well, she was shocked to find out his kindness was genuine. This changed her outlook significantly, though it did not completely change her. Nevertheless, Rachnera still retains at least some of her cynicism as evidenced by her conviction that Kimhito, as a man, would inevitably cheat on his home-stays.

One of the biggest impacts that Rachnera's past has had on her is a deep-rooted hatred of dishonesty in any shape or form. No matter how ugly the truth is, Rachnera would still prefer it over pleasant lies. One way to make her genuinely angry is to mock her history and motivations.

Rachnera is extremely mischievous and greatly enjoys provoking others, displaying an innate talent for saying the right thing at the right time to cause cracks in almost anyone's composure. Rachnera also displays a pronounced sadistic streak. But although she's open to all kinds of bizarre behaviors, Rachnera has also her limits.

Notwithstanding her frightening appearance and unsettling "hobbies", Rachnera possesses a very sophisticated and seductive personality. Of all of Kimihito's tenants, she consistently displays the most confidence and self-awareness in her sex appeal when flirting with Kimihito.

Likewise, Rachnera is the most licentious of the homestays as evidenced by her conscious attempts to sexually arouse Kimihito, along with her unabashed enjoyment of acts of (accidental) perversity on Kimihito's part.

Rachnera greatly enjoys and gets off to bondage, getting a great kick from tying her victims up in her own webbing, both sexually and non-sexually.She is also revealed to be somewhat obsessive about perfecting her bondage technique, which annoys most of the other monster girls, though she usually exempts Kimihito from being webbed up in this fashion (though when motivated she will practice a whole series of bondage techniques on him). However, she seems to include every monster girl who lives in Kimihito's home or is a possible rival as fair game, a fact that has Lala more than a little scared of her.

She is implied to be somewhat lazy, and can frequently be seen slacking off.

However, even despite her sinister traits, it is clear Rachnera's the most mature of all the home-stays, and can quickly discard her playful attitude and become very serious if the situation calls for it. Ironically, despite being built like a dangerous predator, Rachnera has great self-restraint, and Kimihito even noted that she's the only member of the household who has never genuinely harmed or endangered him, even by accident, which caused to her to become embarrassed.

It is also shown that she cares deeply for Kimihito and is willing to put his happiness over hers.

Despite all of this, Rachnera's strong personality is merely a façade she puts up. Rachnera pretends to be uncaring, however she is afraid of being rejected again for her features, and that she is very self-conscious about her appearance. When Rachnera gets intoxicated, she becomes much more emotional and honest about her true feelings.

Even though Rachnera has been a member of Kimihito's household for a long time, she still has a very withdrawn and mysterious side. In fact, it should be noted that Rachnera has said almost nothing about her past, even to those who are close to her, so that even the other girls who live with Kimihito hardly know anything about her. She also more often than not elects to stay home when the rest of the group goes out, and sometimes sticks to the background or the shadows when she does accompany them, indicating she prefers to interact with people when she is at home or in a location that offers her a similar sense of security. Like arachne in general, she does not like to be made vulnerable nor to feel vulnerable.

Despite constantly mocking Miia and Centorea for their possessiveness over Kimihito, Rachnera herself is not immune to such behavior.

Personal Skills: Rachnera is a skilled angler who's able to catch a basketful of fish by using her spider silk as a fishing line without any difficulty.

Rachnera is an expert at making boobytraps with her spider silk to defend herself from any unexpected offenders.

Rachnera is able to use her threads to manipulate a person's movements to an extent.

She is also very stealthily, easily spying on the rest of the homestay girls, Kimihto and Ms Smith without being detected by any of them. This, combined with her great speed, allows her to vanish almost instantly from any location without anybody noticing, or suddenly appear out of nowhere.

Rachnera is very competent with weaving her own silk. Ranging from rapidly tying multiple people up, to weaving it in such a way she can completely immobilize a Centaur, to making objects such as swings and hammocks out of it, to making her own clothing out of it.

Rachnera is able to weave a wide variety of quality clothing out of her silk, but her full skills as a seamstress were seen when she was able to weave entire new outfits on a kitsune from a distance in a matter of seconds. Though doing so was exhausting for her.

Physical Traits: Rachnera possesses incredible speed. She was capable of moving from the floor of a warehouse to the ceiling in seconds, despite carrying someone with her. She was also capable of tying up multiple people in her silk before they even had time to react. She's even fast enough to dodge bullets.

Like regular spiders, Rachnera and other Arachnes get intoxicated when they ingest caffeine. Although a single cup of coffee is enough to get Rachnera drunk, as an Arachne she is immune to the effects of alcohol.

The carapace covering Rachnera's fingers ends in razor sharp claws. These claws, while mostly used to cut her silk into appropriate lengths, can also be used offensively, as they are sharp enough to effortlessly cut open human skin. Because Rachnera once slashed somebody's face by accident, she has learned to be extremely careful with her claws. Also, her claws are very useful as impromptu letter-openers.

Rachnera uses her pedipalp to a certain extent which is similar to human legs. For example, she'll criss-cross them occasionally similar to how a human sits cross-legged. She also uses them to tease Kimihito by wrapping them around him.

Rachnera's reflexes are so good, that combined with her speed she was able to dodge a sniper rifle bullet.

Due to her Arthropod nature, Rachnera is very sensitive to both high and low temperatures. Higher heat or cold that beings like humans or Centaurs would still be comfortable with would already be too extreme for Rachnera. Due to this, she cannot tolerate hot baths or snow very well. While it's unknown if she's cold blooded, she will enter hibernation if the surrounding temperature is too low.

Rachnera is capable of spinning very fine silk webs. The silk is said to be stronger than steel. Despite this, Kimihito can bite through it.

The silk Rachnera produces has a wide variety of applications. Aside from using it to tie people up, Rachnera can detect its vibrations to listen in on conversations and use it to make her own clothes. It is apparently also very valuable, as the director was capable of making money of it.

She can also crawl on walls, and is strong enough to carry Miia with her, albeit with difficulty.

Due to the fact that Arachne's seem to be one of the more monstrous Liminal species, she can be quite intimidating to humans who have no experience dealing with them. Rachnera's fully aware of this and actually knows how to make herself as intimidating as possible, to the point where she can make a human faint out of pure terror. This is quite useful, as it allows her to take down humans without actually harming them, thereby not breaking any laws.

As an Arachne, which is classified as one of the larger liminal species, Rachnera possesses large breasts in proportion to her body.

  9. #9Lala

    Keys: Lala

Looks: Lala is a young, attractive, pale blue skinned woman with white hair, long enough to cover her back with a large ahoge the shape of a scythe sticking out, though this strand is curiously absent when she appears in the afterlife. She has a very curvaceous figure, with pear-like hips and being well-endowed. Her eyes have black sclera and gold-colored irises. She speaks in a very pronounced Irish accent.

She wore a white, thigh-length dress with a black long coat. She loves the coat and worries about warmer weather. Worn over the dress and the coat, was a black-lacquered western-style armoured corset with matching bicep-length armored gloves and thigh-high armored heeled boots. Wrapped around her neck, was a long back scarf.

Her most noticeable trait is her detachable head, which functions perfectly even when not attached to her neck. The insides of her neck, such as her esophagus and windpipe, are exposed and visible when her head is separated, allowing her to perform feats such a pouring liquid directly down her throat.

Personality: She is stoic, gloomy, and very cold and blunt along with the fact that she's the most introverted of Kimihito's homestay girls. However, she apparently suffers from chuunibyou where Lala often claims to be an agent of death, referring to herself as both "Death Incarnate" and "The Huntress of Death". This is to keep people from believing she is an actual Psychopomp. She typically speaks dramatically and enigmatic about her duties to humans, however she can drop it with people being direct with her.

When working she has a more positive attitude and is shown to actually prefer helping someone over doing her job. She also shows a notable nervousness when dealing with those she is not familiar with.

Her relationship with Kimihito is altogether more complicated than the other girls. Whereas many of them are trying to win his hand in marriage, Lala seems to have no interest in such matters. However, she does tell Kimihito that when he dies his soul will belong to her due to her duties as a dullahan; this could mean she is willing to wait until the end of his natural life, no matter the length, to be with him, showing an incredible amount of patience and restraint when compared to many of the other girls with whom she lives.

Likewise, her relationship with the rest of the homestay girls is also decidedly more complex with her admitting in the beginning that she doesn't really have any strong feelings towards them one way or the other, though she had later grown to care for them more then she's willing to admit. It's possible that when they die, she intends to collect their souls similarly to Kimihito's to ensure that they will all always be together even in death.

Though, she apparently has few friendships, the ones that she does have she values deeply and is incredibly protective of them and is willing to break rules to help them.

Despite (or perhaps because of) her grim occupation as a psychopomp, Lala also appears to have a strong fondness for young children and will not hesitate to step in if she sees someone or something that she thinks will harm them showing a more protective and maternal side to her personality.

Lala's body seems to have a personality separate from her and ironically seems to be a lot more emotional and expressive than the stoic Lala herself.

The body also seems to be a lot more honest about her feelings towards Kimihito; when Kimihito crashed into her, the body became aroused and happily embraced him while the head looked on in embarrassment and shame at the blatant display of affection.

Personal Skills: Kimihito states that Lala is surprisingly strong, maybe from carrying her scythe everywhere.

Lala is able to appear suddenly out of nowhere like Rachnera but unlike the Arachne, she does so with her ability to teleport which makes her style more terrifying.

Physical Traits: Her head is detachable, and both can live and function without the other. Further, her head and body are psychically linked, so any feeling felt by one will be reacted to by the other and vice versa. The body also seems to always have a general idea of which direction its head is currently in, though it cannot pin it down to a specific location. It is theorized that her head and body may be two separate organisms that live in symbiosis.

Due to having a detachable head, she can apparently drink liquids without needing to swallow them, instead pouring them straight down her oesophageal tube. However, this doesn't allow her to acclimate herself to the temperature of the liquid very well. Also, it appears that she can eat food at the same way as well. However, her head, by extension, doesn't seem to need her body to consume fluids, as she is seen drinking coffee despite being in a whole other country than her body.

If her head and body are separated, she claims that she cannot use her powers.

Lala claimed she was able to sense "the smell of death" on Mero's pursuer, but this was just Lala's flair for the dramatic, since the mentioned pursuer was Lala herself.

She can travel to a different plane of existence to reap the souls of those near death, as well as return those near death to life. Similarly, she is able to cross between worlds at will and appear where she wants to.

Personal Belongings: Lala owns a complete set of black-lacquered western-style armour, but because of its heavy weight she only wears select pieces of it. She doesn't like wearing the entire set.

She wields a black scythe with an indent in it. However, Lala never sharpens the blade, so it is very dull. Normally, carrying a weapon in public would be in violation of Japan's laws, but Lala managed to convince the government it's a mere farming scythe, and therefore a tool, not a weapon. The scythe does seem to have supernatural properties, as it was able to sever a spirit's connection to its mortal host and force it to pass on.

Lala can summon her scythe out of nowhere, as if by magic, and he often wonders where she keeps the scythe when she doesn't have it with her. It is not known if this is an ability of Lala or of the scythe itself.
