- #1Basiliskselective
Keys: Basilisk, Opimus, Rubra
Basilisk Classification: Magical Beast Disposition: Cunning, Spiteful, Proud Habitat: Sun‑bleached ruins, open grasslands Region: Opimus, Rubra Civilization Potential: Low
Anatomy Basilisks are serpentine monster girls of the magical beast classification. Their upper bodies appear as human women with a shifting pattern of moss‑green scales that shimmer like old copper. Both upper and lower eyelids are lined in vivid red, giving them a perpetual, baleful stare. Below the waist, their body transitions into a massive serpentine coil, thick with muscle and covered in the same moss‑green scales; it tapers to a blunt, bone‑hard tail and moves with a low, near‑silent slither.
Behaviour and Instincts Like all Monster Girls, Basilisks are driven by an absolute need for human male life force. They are solitary ambushers, watching prey from cover before immobilising it with their paralytic gaze. A captured man is dragged to the lair and kept as a living wellspring of sustenance, fed upon slowly over weeks.
Post‑Capture Dynamics* Once a mate is secured, the Basilisk becomes fiercely possessive, coiling around him with jealous vigilance. She will bring fresh‑killed game as “gifts” and react with fury to any rival. The bond is not love, but a cold, possessive pride that treats the captive as her most treasured property for he will allow her to produce offspring.

Keys: Bywyd Pedairglust, Ysbrydaear, Elancore, Wealdaelf
Religion: Bywyd Pedairglust Culture: Ysbrydaear Region: Ryne
The Core Spirits
Shared by all believers, though each tribe of the Wealdaelf reads them differently — Pedairglust, Ysbryd yr Isaf, Yr Ysbrydion Da, and the soil.
Pedairglust. She made the world and gave each thing in it a purpose. Her first children she granted long pointed ears and with them a greater sense of spirituality. Her second came in many forms, defects in the making which she would not cast aside, and they are to be subservient to the first and guided by them, for they sought the soil and wallow in it after their animal desires.
Ysbryd yr Isaf. The Spirit of the Lower, spoken of and shown as a small woman made of red flowers. She gives the children of Pedairglust the want to breed, which they cannot live without, and the same life force that enflames the groin is the cause of a great deal of evil. It is said she has power over every living thing, whether it wills it or not, whether it knows it or not, whether it thinks itself above such things.
Yr Ysbrydion Da. The Good Spirits, many rather than one, thanked when a season goes well or a wound closes.
The Soil. Pridd yr Ysbrydion, which gives Pedairglust's children the substance that sustains them. A dead body is an offering and the dead are given to him, yet blood is a curse, for too much of it harms his ground.
Tribal Spirits
Each tribe sponsors a Good Spirit of its own.
Cymylog — Pelydr Arian, the Silver Ray. The light that comes down even through the canopies of the Everwoods.
Pridd — Abwydyn Du, the Black Worm. A worm without end, black and thick, which eats what is given to the soil and makes the ground rich by it. The dead of the Pridd are given to him.
Cyllell — Ffonellyll, the Stickingelf. A spirit said to live in a thing of the same name, a tall figure of green Everwood bark shaped like a Wealdaelf and grown far past the size of one, whose arms end in sharpened sticks that go through steel, and who moves fast and speaks in a voice that does not stop echoing. In her own words she swore an oath in days nobody speaks of, lying down on the soil with two hands pressed to her while a woman made her anew. The lands of the Cyllell have not been disputed since.
Carregdafl — Mam Syrthiedig, the Fallen Mother. A spirit of stone and falling water.
Llygadaderyn — Plu Gwylio, the Watching Feathers. A spirit scattered into a great many sparrows that sing in the high branches and watch the people below them. Some of the birds are said to speak a fate, and one that stays near you is waiting on something, fortunate or otherwise.
Cerddwyrisel — Gweledydd, the Seeing. A spirit which gives the grey goblins of the tribe the sight of a path through country that has none and turns a traveler in circles forever.
Troeddwfn — Yr Affwysol, the Abyssal One. A spirit that lingers in the abyss of Llydan, and out of the dark of it draws a light in the form of the glinting ores the Troeddwfn so enjoy to pick at, to turn over, and to put to use.
Llawgafael — Arweinydd, the Leading. A spirit said to put a melody into whatever a Llawgafael says, so that it reaches any ear it is aimed at and fills whoever hears it with her essence.
Crwynnos — Tosturi, the Sympathy. A spirit the color of the dark the moon brings, which came to the sick and the exiled on their march to the ground the Crwynnos now keep, when every other Wealdaelf called them wicked. She went into them, and it turned their skin tar black and gave them the purple runes that cover it. A Crwynnos may open a rune at will and take great strength from it for a time she cannot predict, and the skin where it was goes white and a sickness comes with it, and the rune returns to her over days or months or a year.
- #4Band of Laquentaselective
Keys: Band of Laquenta, Silvia, Terra Mille Villarum, Proelium, medio
Faction: Band of Laquenta Type: Bandits Region: Opimus Leader: Laquenta Race: Canis Reputation: Stray Canis; Murderous Housemaids
The Band of Laquenta is a growing pack of supposedly stray Canis let loose into the countryside of Terra Mille Villarum, and what binds the masterless is an ideology rooted in their own nature rather than any abstract grievance. The Band holds that the arrangement the Silvian man has made is one in which the civilized monster girls, the Canis and the Bova alike, have had their nature watered down and their original ways degraded into what it means to be Silvian. Laquenta takes it a step past that. What she says their nature was, before the Silvian made it something else, is to hunt a man and take him and keep him under her, and that a Canis who lives in a house and waits to be chosen has been made into something that is not a Canis at all.
Laquenta herself originates from Capitale, where she belonged to a nobleman named Julius, who inherited his land from his father, who inherited it from his, and then his, a man known as Brentus who is said to have stood with Rex Amacus at the fields of Sacra. She lived in that house among his wives, and what she came to feel there was hatred and jealousy in equal measure, and in a fit of uncontrollable rage she took down the spear of Julius's long-since dead ancestor and murdered the whole family in the dead of night. Wife, husband, children, and baby all. Not being a fool, she fled into the countryside of Proelium that same night, before any had the chance to rightfully frame her for the murder.
The Band of Laquenta is the Canis she has gathered since, the wives and servants of Silvian men of every class and calibre. Their reasons for joining vary, but all are wrought in an origin of hatred and wickedness. Some were treated badly, beaten until they turned tail and ran. Others were treated well enough, and in their jealousy and their wickedness acted on a thought that was rooted in death.
In Proelium and Medio they fall on caravans and villages and towns alike, taking the men and raping them, killing the women, and carrying off whatever is worth carrying. What they do to the men afterward is the greater part of it, for a man who has been taken is sent back with a debt on him, and he buys the Band their equipment and their food out of his own purse and tells them where the divisiones are riding and when the caravans move, and he does it because he has been told what will happen to his wife, or to him, if he does not.
Receiving news of these organized murderous strays, Grandmaster Valerius, Rex of Silvia, answered with no campaign at all. He had every man of the Collegium Adventorum stationed in Proelium and Medio watch the countryside for groups of Canis women, stop them and interrogate them, and any who would not answer were shipped off to a province far from where they were found, so that whatever organization the Band had would be pulled apart a handful at a time until what was left could be taken easily. It has hurt them badly. It has also fallen on every Canis in those provinces who had nothing to do with any of it, and on the men who own them, and neither has taken it well.
- #5Laquentaselective
Keys: Fangs of Laquenta, Laquenta
Laquenta Alma Frulia
Name: Laquenta Alma Frulia Age: 26 Race: Canis Culture: Silvian Affiliation: Band of Laquenta Rank: C Jingshen: Weapon: Longspear of Brentus
Appearance
Tall, six foot four, and built like something that runs. Fair skin, brown fur where a Canis carries fur, and the hair of a brunette.
Personality
What a stranger meets is a kind Canis, a Silvian woman with a smile on her face, and she is not pretending badly, for she can keep it up across a whole evening and has more than once. What is underneath it is a pot that has been on the fire a long while — anger and envy chiefly, and neither of them in any hurry. She plans well and coldly for as long as the planning lasts. But when the water begins to steam, she reveals who she truly is, a being of unjustified maliciousness and ruthlessness.
Ambition
What she wants is every Canis in Silvia out of her master's house and in the countryside with her, by persuasion where persuasion works and by force when it does not, living as Laquenta says a Canis was meant to live before the Silvian made her into a servant who waits to be chosen by a man. After the Canis, the rest of them — the Bova in the dairies, every civilized monster girl in the kingdom that has been broken down into a fraction of what they once were, and calls it life.
She has no plan behind the chaos she seeks to unleash, and the bodies she leaves lying on the soil. The title of Rex she does not intend to assume or destroy, no land she means to hold, and no answer to a Canis who asks why a thing being natural makes it right. For Laquenta is a truly animalistic being.
Jingshen: Shark (C) — Encyclopedia of Death
What fills is anger and what she wants, and it never stops filling, for nothing in Laquenta ever comes off the fire. When it goes over she is given a moment of knowing, which is not a plan and not a warning but the plain fact of what would hurt the thing in front of her most, where it is weakest, what it would not recover from. It lasts a breath and then it is gone. Because she is never calm, it comes to her often, and a Canis of steadier temper with the same gift would go years between them.
Knowing is not doing. The gift shows her the opening and does nothing to put her within reach of it, and a woman who has just been told exactly how to kill the man across the yard is still a woman with a spear and twenty paces of ground in front of her. What she does with it is her own, and she is cleverer than anyone who has met her smiling would guess.
- #6Longspear of Brentusselective
Keys: Longspear of Brentus, Brentus, Laquenta, Band of Laquenta
Weapon: Longspear of Brentus
Once carried by one of the first warriors of the Collegium Adventorum, a cavalry officer named Brentus Equitius Paulus, who was known in the records and in his own time for having no equal on the back of a horse and for being modest at best on the ground, which made plain what he had been before it, a village boy bringing in yields in the province of Proelium. What is said of him is that Rex Amacus rode through his village once on a gallant horse of a purple found in no land but the Barbaria Coast, and that the boy watched it go by and decided then and there that he would be in that man's army, and he was.
The spear is long, and where the iron meets the shaft it is dressed in a ring of purple feathers.
- #7Iunoselective
Keys: Iuno, Band of Laquenta
Name: Iuno Age: 19 Race: Canis Culture: Silvian Affiliation: Band of Laquenta Rank: D Jingshen: B Weapon:
Appearance
Short, and fair-skinned where the fur does not cover her, with brown fur and freckles across her face, paired with amber eyes. She is noticeably pretty, and there is something innocent in the look of her that survives the horrific acts she has taken part in.
Background
Iuno was born in Proelium and came up in the house of a farmer, a plain man with no pretensions to anything, and she was not mistreated there for a single day of it. She was prized by his sons and the wives treated her as a daughter of the house, and by any account anyone would give of it she had a good life among people who were fond of her.
It was not enough. She befriended one of the farmer's sons, a quiet one who broke a sweat at the field work and kept to himself and disliked the company of others. What began as light taunting became demeaning insults that struck his heart down, and from there it became something else, and it ended with a knife at his throat and Iuno smiling a toothy grin as she bore down on him, drunk on the feeling of having power over a thing weaker than she is. After taking the boy's virginity, Iuno threatened him with that very blade, swearing that if he told his father, he'd regret it greatly.
But the boy having finally grown into a man would inform his father of the Iuno's vicious attack, with the gash across his jaw providing the evidence necessary to prove that it indeed happened.
The farmer let her go. He knew what he had under his roof and he knew she was not worthy of being led by a man like him. Yet he didn't throw her to the Collegium Adventorum, for he didn't want her neck to meet the edge of a blade.
Personality
Iuno is quiet and patient and keeps to herself, and there is nothing in the way she carries herself that would put anyone on guard. What she wants is to have power over something weaker than she is, and it does not much matter to her whether the weaker thing is a man, for the want was never about men. It came from a restlessness she has never been able to account for, a feeling that nothing in her life was ever hers to decide, in a house where she was fed and loved and had no say in any of it.
Her way of going about it is always the same. She finds whoever seems to be in a lesser position than her own and is friendly with them, and they let their guard down, and then she makes an off-colored remark, or does a thing that leaves them humiliated. If they do not push back, and they typically do not, she doubles down tenfold, and what were words and teasing becomes something else entirely.
Iuno follows behind Laquenta and takes up her ideology as any member of the Band does, yet it is not the belief that carries her. It is that her leader's message justifies what she has already done.
Ambition
What Iuno wants is more Canis in the Band, and she is the one who goes and gets them, for Laquenta can rouse a room and cannot sit three weeks with a frightened servant being friendly. She receives what she has always wanted — someone to rule over. Yet they adore her, and she finds herself enjoying the feeling.
Jingshen: Dove (B-Rank) — At Ease
Those whom she speaks to feel the worries of the day lift off their shoulders. First they begin to trust her, then they begin to entrust themselves to her, and before long she is a sister to them. Yet should they leave her presence, those familial feelings fade away by degrees.

Keys: Monster Girl, Monster, Youkai
Monster Girls Monster Girls (or referred to as 'Youkai' in Zhongtu) are a diverse array of creatures that possess the form of alluring women. While their physical traits vary drastically depending on their race, ranging from the feral charm of beast-types to the divine elegance of celestial beings, they are universally bound by two core instinctual drives: an absolute attraction toward human men (males in general), and an inherent need to compete with and eliminate human females. Due to the fact that males of their own kind are scarce, they need humans in order to reproduce and carry on their lineages.
Biology, Sustenance, and Reproduction The fundamental biology of a Monster Girl centers around the consumption of human life force, which they absorb directly through semen. This craving drives their behavior, serving as both vital sustenance and their highest expression of affection.
The Seduction and the Hunt: While some Monster Girls integrate into human settlements or build orderly societies of their own, earning them the classification of "Civilized", others roam the wilderness driven purely by primal instinct. When a Monster Girl targets a man, she will pursue him tirelessly through seduction or immense physical violence. Despite this extreme aggression, their actions are rarely born of true malice; they are simply fulfilling a biological desperation to feed and secure a mate.
Innate Charm: Every Monster Girl, regardless of her evolutionary branch, possesses a hypnotic beauty that transcends human understanding. Whether characterized by vibrant feathers, glossy scales, or even the stitched, greyish flesh of the undead, a profound and alluring charm is hardwired into their very being.
Hybridization: Reproduction between a human male and a monster girl can occasionally result in a hybrid offspring, though the occurrence is rare, carrying a strict 12% conception probability. Within human territories, these hybrid children are colloquially and derogatorily nicknamed "Rape Babies," reflecting the grim reality that the human father was almost certainly violated to facilitate the birth.
Post-Capture Dynamics and Possession Once a Monster Girl successfully acquires her chosen male, she will attempt to hold onto him indefinitely. The domestic dynamics after capture vary heavily by species and disposition:
Subjugation: More brutal variants utilize unadulterated violence, physical abuse, and intimidation to completely break and dominate their mate's will.
Devotion: Conversely, many species completely flip the power dynamic, showering their husbands with overwhelming love, affection, and intense submission.
The Ten Classifications Every known species of Monster Girl falls under one of ten distinct ecological categories:
Beast: Mammalian or avian humanoids possessing animalistic features (e.g., Lupas, Harpies, Kit Kats).
Magical Beast: Creatures of animal descent integrated with innate, highly potent arcane properties.
Sea Monster: Aquatic humanoids native to oceans, rivers, and deep-water trenches.
Insect: Exoskeleton-bearing humanoids characterized by hive minds, stingers, or specialized anatomy (e.g., Apis, Myrminiki).
Slime: Amorphous, gelatinous humanoids capable of acidic digestion or cellular absorption.
Undead: Reanimated, corporeal humanoids brought back via necromancy or spiritual curses.
Spirit: Ethereal, elemental, or incorporeal manifestations tied to specific concepts or environments.
Demon: Fiendish entities originating from infernal planes, characterized by highly malicious or manipulative magic.
Elf: Highly magical, long-lived civilized humanoids deeply attuned to natural laws and ancient traditions (e.g., Wealdaelf).
Plant: Flora-based humanoids utilizing vines, spores, and photosynthetic biology to capture prey and thrive.

Keys: Lepido, Opimus, Ryne
Lepido Classification: Insect Disposition: Solitary, Nocturnal Habitat: Forests, Grasslands, Wetlands, Urban Areas Region: Opimus, Ryne Civilization Potential: Low
Anatomy & Behavior
Lepido are moth-like monster girls with shimmering, downy bodies and large wings. Completely nocturnal, they possess an irresistible fixation on light sources like lanterns and city lamps, where they often gather. While they lack a formal civilization, they frequently roost on the outskirts and shadowed corners of human cities, remaining hidden by day and active by night.
Mating Season Tactics During the Spring mating season, their behavior becomes highly active. They claim human males using two distinct nocturnal tactics:
Hypnotic Dances: Performing entrancing, sensual aerial movements under the moonlight to mesmerize and lure men in.
Ambush: Silently dropping from the darkness onto unsuspecting targets.
Despite their predatory courtship, Lepido rarely harm their captives, viewing the encounter as an instinctual reproductive necessity rather than an act of malice.
- #10selective
Keys: Querula, Opimus
The Querula Classification: Beast Disposition: Romantic, Relentless, Haunting Habitat: Vast Treehouse (Forest Canopies) Region: Opimus
Civilization Potential: High
Physical Appearance Querula are sparrow-like harpies distinguished by their pale skin, vibrant pinkish hair, and soft feathers lining their necks, forearms, and thighs. In typical harpy fashion, their arms function as wings, though they terminate in sharp, clawed talons capable of grasping, clenching, and holding targets securely. They dwell high above the forest floor in expansive, interconnected treehouse communities.
Hypnotic Melodies & Captivity The Querula are famous for their haunting vocal melodies that echo through the canopy. These songs possess a potent, hypnotic quality specifically attuned to human males. Prolonged exposure gradually erodes a man's logic, reason, and memory until nothing remains but the music.
Submission: Men who willingly succumb to the song are welcomed openly into the flock as mates, living peaceful, sheltered, and entirely confined lives under the canopy.
Resistance: Any man strong-willed enough to resist the melody triggers the flock's darker, aggressive nature. Defiance is met with a coordinated, collective assault. The entire flock descends to force his submission, ensuring he ultimately joins their eternal chorus.
Courtship & Devotion Despite their aggressive methods of capture, the Querula are natural romanticists driven by an intense desire for love and domestic service. Once a human male is integrated into the flock, he is treated exceptionally well and heavily pampered by his mate. However, their attachment is absolute—once a Querula fixes her affections on a specific man, she will pursue him to the ends of the earth and stop at nothing to secure his love.

Keys: Concolor, Opimus
The Concolor
Classification: Beast Disposition: Solitary, Stalker Habitat: Forested wilderness, hills, mountains, and canyon passes Region: Opimus Civilization Potential: Low
Anatomy and Physical Traits The Concolor are cougar-like monster girls who roam the rugged wilderness of Opimus and Rubra. They possess lithe, highly athletic bodies built for agility and stealth. Light-tawny fur covers their legs, thighs, forearms, and groin, providing natural camouflage against rocky and forested terrain. In place of human hands and feet, they possess sharp claws that serve as lethal natural weaponry alongside their prominent, predatory canines.
Ambush Tactics and Reproduction True to their solitary nature, Concolors generally keep to themselves and avoid large settlements. However, their behavior shifts completely upon encountering a human male. Operating as patient stalkers, they trail their target through forests or narrow canyon passes, waiting for the perfect opportunity to strike from the shadows.
Once they spring their ambush, a Concolor utilizes her athletic build to trap the victim in a vicious, highly flexible chokehold. Fully immobilized and unable to escape her grip, the unfortunate male is held helpless while the Concolor extracts his semen. He may, or may not be let go after the milking has ended. All depending on if she finds the man she has seized, attractive.

Keys: Lutum
##The Lutum
| Classification | Slime / Ooze | | Disposition | Deceitful, Emotionless, Predatory | | Habitat | Forests, Swamps, Caverns (Often Arboreal) | | Civilization Potential | Medium | Region: Opimus
Anatomy & Mimicry
The Lutum is a highly intelligent slime that maintains the physical form of a human female. While capable of projecting fabricated personalities, they lack true emotion; their social mimicry serves solely to lure prey. Because they are slimes, their bodies are infinitely flexible and able to morph into virtually any shape. Given a sufficient supply of male semen, a Lutum can expand and grow to massive, titanic sizes.
Ambush Tactics & Extraction
Lutums are tactical ambush predators that frequently hang from tree branches, waiting to drop directly onto unsuspecting adventurers passing below. Once a Lutum ensnares a male, she utilizes her versatile, malleable body to completely trap him. Immobilizing the victim, she exploits her shapeshifting anatomy to relentlessly milk him dry, absorbing the fluids required to fuel her growth.

Keys: Lupa, Ryne, Nurthenhei, Opimus Zhongtu, Ard, Flumen, Nebu
Lupa Classification: Beast Disposition: Adaptable, Loyal, Social Habitat: Varied Region: Nurthenhei, Opimus, Rubra, Zhongtu, Ard, Flumen, Nebu Civilization Level: High
The Lupa The Lupa, or "She-Wolf," are a prominent species of beast-class monster girls who closely resemble human women with distinct, predatory lupine features. They possess the fluffy, high, triangular ears of a wolf, striking amber-colored eyes, prominent canines, and soft pockets of fur that cover strategic parts of their body, such as the forearms and groin.
Much like the wild canines they share their lineage with, a Lupa boasts absurdly high levels of endurance and an incredibly fine sense of smell.
Civilization and the Mating Season The Lupa stand out as one of the most successful and dominant races of monster girls in existence. Their naturally social and pack-oriented nature has aided them in forging large-scale, structured civilizations. Because of this societal coordination, they consistently pose the greatest geopolitical threat to humanity—regardless of whether a specific pack is civilized or entirely feral.
Despite their capacity for advanced societal organization, they are still ultimately ruled by their deep biological drive to reproduce. When the mating season arrives, the sophisticated facade of the Lupa completely shatters, and she reverts entirely into a feral, desperate beast driven to capture a male.
Regional Variants Lupas have adapted widely across the globe, resulting in several distinct regional variants that differ drastically in size, coat thickness, and pigmentation:
The Lupas of Nurthenhei (The Frozen North): Native to the biting cold of the far north, these Lupas possess hair and coats as white as fresh snow. The fur present on their bodies is significantly thicker than any other variant, serving as essential insulation against the harsh sub-zero climate.
The Lupas of Rubra (The West-South): Native to the southern regions of the western world, these Lupas possess hair and fur as brown as the rich soil they walk upon. Their fur is moderate in volume, well-suited for temperate to warm climates.
The Lupas of Zhongtu (The Far-East): The far-east is home to several unique sub-variants, the most legendary of which is the "White Tengu." This variant features fair skin and fur as pale as their northern Nurthenhei cousins, but their coats are relatively scarce. They are also notably short for a Lupa, typically standing head-to-shoulder with an average-sized human.
The Lupas of Ard (The Near-East): Native to the arid landscapes of the near-east, this variant has adapted to the heat with relatively scarce, thin brown fur. Like the White Tengu, they are smaller in stature, with the head of the average Ard Lupa reaching only to the shoulder of an average-sized human.
The Lupas of Flumen: Grey-and-ash coat, moderate fur

Slender, diminutive, and graceful, they conceal every inch of their bodies beneath layered garments and masks crafted from artistically hardened insects. Their masks resembles the faces of young women, hiding their insectoid features save for their scarlet eyes. This modesty serves a pragmatic purpose, to conceal their monstrous features from men and avoid provoking fear in those they serve. Originating from deep cave systems, Păianjen have become adept at mimicking human customs, particularly those related to servitude and domestic craft. Many find employment as housekeepers or attendants, their loyalty to male masters both practical and possessive.

Province: Nanthir Controller: Elancore Tribe: Llawgafael Geography: Southern central Ryne, where the Blǣw runs through on its way north from the Columna toward northern Ryne and out into the Kaldr — Everwoods Settlements: Puck
The Blǣw
Nanthir sits in southern central Ryne within the Elancore confederation, and the Blǣw runs through the length of it, said to be a way out of the Everwoods for anyone who takes a canoe or simply follows the river north. And that river is serves as Nanthir's road, for where every other tribe must go through the trees, the Llawgafael go along the water, and what travels the Blǣw — goods, news, strangers — passes through Nanthir first.
The Llawgafael
The Llawgafael are known for their silver tongues and for the keeping of oral tradition, the retelling and reciting of stories and of the blessings Yr Ysbrydion Da offer, and a Llawgafael who is the contrary is rare.
Pwca
Of all the stories they keep, the one they keep closest is that of Pwca, a mischievous Lfen who was somehow a male and is thought to have been a half-breed of some sort. He went from tribe to tribe and clan to clan singing a lullaby, his tongue slipping words of happiness into the hearts of whoever would listen, and most were not fond of him, for he had the male phallus, and amongst the Ysbrydaear, the act of follow a male is the road to a life of appetite without spirit, a heart sunk into the soil and spoiled there, which is to say a life no better than an animal's.
The Llawgafael took him in regardless, and with the resources of one tribe and only so much ground they built the city of Puck, which has to this day the largest shrine in the Everwoods. Beside it stands a flat stone with his name cut into it in Coelbren, the notched script of the Ysbrydaear.
Pwca died there. Yet his having lived among them has drawn other Lfen to the Llawgafael ever since, and the tribe keeps them for the carrying of word, since a Lfen goes where a runner cannot and arrives before one would.
The Taken In
It speaks well to what the Llawgafael are, and they have kept on in the same way since, for they take in escaped slaves and exiles thrown out of their own tribes, and nobody else in the Everwoods does. An escaped man who reaches Nanthir becomes Llawgafael property and is not permitted to leave it, yet he is treated well, and better than most where he came from.
The other tribes despise them for it, and yet none has gone to war over it, for blood spilled unjustly fouls the soil, and the Llawgafael are among the strongest of the Wealdaelf besides, and every tribe in Elancore trades along the Blǣw, which a war with Nanthir would close to all of them.

Crabies are monster girls with the lower half of a crab and the upper half of a woman. They come in a variety of colors, most commonly deep shades of red. Possessing scuttling legs and massive claws capable of crushing armor like paper, any adventurer would be wise to keep their distance. They often emerge from the water to patrol rivers and coasts, searching for valuables to hoard. Though generally peaceful unless provoked, a crabie is not above considering a man "loot." They do not take mates, instead milking a man dry of his semen before retreating back into the sea.
Strangely enough, crabies are capable of using bubbles to their advantage during both combat and sex. How they achieve this manipulation of bubbles is unknown, but these bubbles shoot out and stick to their targets, causing them to lose all friction and slip, leaving them vulnerable to attack. During mating, these bubbles serve as lubrication, allowing them to more easily milk a man dry.

The Egesta Classification: Beast Disposition: Rational, Serious, Lustful (Concealed) Habitat: Grasslands, Plains Region: Flumen Civilization Potential: High
Anatomy and Physical Traits The Egesta are a highly advanced race of rabbit-like monster girls. They possess slender, athletic physiques well-suited for the open environments they inhabit, with skin and fur tones typically ranging from pale alabaster to deep chocolate.
Their physiology is defined by two key adaptations:
Fluffy Leporine Ears: Long, highly expressive ears that grant them exceptional situational awareness across the open plains.
Powerful Hind Legs: Exceptionally strong lower bodies capable of launching them across immense distances, providing both unmatched speed and a reliable means of evading danger.
Intellect and Mercantile Civilizations Unlike many beast-class monster girls driven purely by feral instinct, the Egesta are notably intelligent and analytical. They possess a high capacity for logic, long-term planning, and societal organization, which has allowed them to establish large, sophisticated civilizations.
The premier example of their societal success is Jakaniken, a powerful testament to their cultural development. Leveraging their sharp minds, the Egesta have established a dominant mercantile presence that stretches far beyond their native grasslands of Flumen, stretching deep into the trade networks of Opimus and Rubra.
Behavior and the Hidden Disposition In day-to-day interactions, the Egesta maintain a highly rational, serious, and professional demeanor, a trait that serves them well in their extensive commercial endeavors. They are not naturally hostile or predatory toward travelers.
However, beneath this strict veil of seriousness lies a deeply ingrained, intense lustful streak that can trigger unpredictably. The Egesta go to great lengths to suppress and conceal these overwhelming desires behind their stoic public personas. Because of this hidden volatility, seasoned wanderers advise that they should generally be avoided; should their facade slip, their athletic frames and inescapable speed make them formidable when pursuing a mate.

Collegium Adventorum Ruler: Grandmaster Valerius Organization: Adventurer's Guild / Collegium Adventorum Origin: Founded by Cracolla Amacus (long since dead), "The Most Fierce" Purpose: Containment and deterrence of hostile monster girl populations; defense of rural settlements
Historical Origins and the Sovereign Fusion The Collegium Adventorum began as Cracolla Amacus's own oath-bound companions — soldiers who followed him when he broke from the Ruber Empire and crowned himself "Rex Magnus Silviae" in 1130. After crushing the provincial lords who rose against him at Sacra, Amacus stripped and executed the defeated, then filled the vacuum by settling his own men across their lands, some as paid garrisons, others granted estates outright — the origin of much of Silvia's landed nobility, and of the Guild's now-permanent presence in every province. Though founded by Ruber soldiers, the Collegium has, over the centuries since, come to be dominated by Silvians once more.
Following Amacus's death, the political and military structures of the realm permanently fused. The titles of Rex Magnus Silviae and Primus Capitaneus Collegii Adventorum (First Captain of the Adventurer's Guild) became one and the same. Today, leadership of the Guild is the sole pathway to the kingship of Silvia, and it is currently held by Grandmaster Valerius.
The Dual Mandate and Guild Operations Officially, the Guild enforces an absolute, uncompromising doctrine: assimilation or extermination. In practice, extermination is rarely achievable. Monster girl populations are too numerous, too dispersed, and — when organized — too powerful for any divisio to eliminate outright. Each divisio is instead permanently stationed to hold the province assigned to it, minimizing and containing monster girl activity rather than ending it. The operational members of the order — known universally as Adventurers or Heroes — are deployed across the provinces to safeguard isolated hamlets, reclaim captured citizens, and keep monster-infested sectors from expanding, striking decisively only where a population proves small or vulnerable enough to actually be destroyed.
Warfare Doctrine: Necessity Over Mercy The Guild's public rhetoric has not changed to reflect this — settlements are still told, and largely still believe, that the Collegium Adventorum exists to eliminate the threat entirely. The leaders of the Guild know better. Total extermination was never truly within reach; what the Guild actually offers Silvia is an indefinite stalemate, dressed in the cloak of ending a universal threat in order to ease the minds of the commoners.
This gap between doctrine and capability is the Guild's oldest, best-kept secret, and its sympathetic critics — the reformist factions (Scutums of Rosea) who argue for assimilation over destruction — may not even realize they're arguing for the only strategy that was ever actually viable. When encountering the Collegium Adventorum, monster girls are still given the same absolute ultimatum: Learn to behave or die. Whether that threat can be carried out is another matter entirely.

Government and Local Autonomy Terra Mille Villarum, often referred to simply as Silvia, is a vast, deeply rural state spanning the fertile lands of Opimus, Rubra, Flumen, and Ryne. The central government's presence is strongest within Opimus and at its weakest in distant Ryne.
The state is nominally governed by the Adventurer's Guild — the Collegium Adventorum — under the leadership of Grandmaster Valerius. While the Guild's First Captain technically holds the traditional title of Rex of Silvia, the central administration rarely interferes with local affairs. In reality, individual settlements enjoy immense autonomy. The Guild limits its sovereign authority almost entirely to two pillars:
Infrastructure: Building and maintaining a vast network of roads, a civil tradition inherited from the ancient Ruber people. Security: Protecting the decentralized realm from external foreign invaders and internal threats.
Defensive Warfare Doctrine Despite its decentralized nature, Silvia stands as the most dominant power in the region. To secure its massive territories, the state employs a highly effective defensive doctrine of warfare.
The military forces of the Collegium Adventorum are split into specialized divisiones. Each divisio is permanently stationed within a specific province, operating as a localized shield. This constant readiness ensures that no enemy — whether human armies or rogue monster girls — can strike a settlement before the Guild can mobilize and respond.
Monster Girl Policy When dealing with monster girls within its borders, Silvia enforces an absolute, uncompromising policy: assimilation or destruction.
Assimilation: Monster girl populations that are cooperative and capable of integrating peacefully into human settlements are absorbed into society. Destruction: Those that cannot or will not be integrated are either systematically enslaved or entirely exterminated by the Guild's divisiones to maintain the safety of the populace.

Geopolitical Power and Engineering Supremacy
Holding the eastern coast of Flumen, Jakaniken is a highly advanced and formidable kingdom. It commands a military that rivals — and in certain strategic aspects surpasses — the defensive capabilities of the Thousand Villages.
The crown jewel of Jakaniken's military apparatus is the Kaivuri, a specialized corps of the finest engineers in the west. The Kaivuri are masters of subterranean siege warfare, capable of tunneling directly beneath the most heavily fortified castles and breaching them from below.
Driven by an expansionist policy, Jakaniken absorbs neighboring settlements through a mix of military conquest and calculated diplomacy. To the outside world the kingdom maintains a reputation as orderly, peaceful, and highly advanced, justifying its territorial growth as a logistical necessity — claiming it requires more space to settle a booming Egesta population.
Demographics and the Kaksi Kättä Decree
The domestic framework of Jakaniken is engineered for total integration between its human and monster girl populations. The state enforces a social policy known as Kaksi kättä, which requires every human male within the realm to take a minimum of three Egesta wives.
This mandatory marital system has triggered two massive demographic shifts across the region:
Population Explosion: The multi-wife policy has caused an exponential spike in birth rates, constantly expanding the kingdom's labor force and ensuring a steady supply of military manpower.
Marital Urbanization: The strict requirements of these state marital contracts have systematically relocated the human population from the countryside into and around the major municipal centers. Because the Egesta rely entirely on human men to reproduce, they too have abandoned the wild frontier to settle permanently in the cities. The result is a highly urbanized society and a vacant, depopulated countryside, save for the noble families who hold estates there.

Their physical might is immense, enough to crumple steel with relative ease, and their speed is likened to a hurricane’s fury. Most infamously, Dracos can breathe torrents of searing flame, making any confrontation with them a fatal error for all but the truly powerful.
A Draco typically claims an abandoned ruin or a mountaintop cave as her lair, which she transforms into a hoard. Within these strongholds, she stockpiles whatever she deems precious: gold, treasures looted from raided caravans, and—perhaps most prized—human men she finds attractive, kept as living spoils.
Infinitely prideful, Dracos regard themselves as a master race, almost divine, and wield this conviction to justify their casual cruelty. Academia Cato The Academia Cato is a private institution in the city of Incola, its low stone halls ringed by herb gardens and drying yards that have long since outgrown their original plots. What began as one healer's attempt to gift to others his life saving knowledge, has become Silvia's foremost center for clerical and medical instruction — though the building itself, patched and expanded over generations rather than rebuilt, still looks more like an overgrown apothecary than a hall of learning. Though there are talks of an effort made by the Temple of Silvia to renovate and expand upon the structure tenfold.
Its student body is drawn almost entirely from the clergy, sent by their sects to train in writing, record-keeping, and the medicinal arts before returning to serve their temples. A handful of apprentices are taken on each year as well, sponsored by wealthy Incolan merchant families eager for a household physician of their own. Instruction is overseen by senior priests of the Sect of Liber, who maintain the Academia's records and libraries, alongside healers both wise and aged.
Cato Adrian Caius was a worshipper of the Magnos who grew tired of the mundane prayers offered in Opimus's many temples. He became a priest of the Temple of Silvia, aiding those above him when need be. During his free time, he collected vegetation whose properties he could discern through a mere touch — his Jingshen granting him instant knowledge of whatever he handled. He wandered far beyond Silvia's borders as an itinerant healer, cataloguing remedies and treating the sick and injured across Opimus, Ryne, Rubra, and Flumen alike. He would eventually settle in Incola, where his medical knowledge earned him great renown among the clergy, and where he organized their people and resources to found what would become the Academia Cato.

Kitkat Classification: Beast Disposition: Stealthy, Solitary Habitat: Varied Region: Opimus, Flumen, Rubra, Ard, Nebu, Zhongtu Civilization Potential: Medium
Anatomy
Kitkats are cat-like monster girls whose bodies otherwise mirror those of lithe human women. Soft patches of short, dense fur cover their forearms, lower legs, and groin, often in muted shades of grey, brown, or cream. Their feline ears are large and expressive, constantly twitching at the faintest of sounds, and a long, flexible tail, often tipped with a darker tuft, flicks behind them as they move. Their hands and feet are deceptively delicate and hide retractable claws sharp enough to slice through leather, and their large, vertically slit pupils grant them excellent sight in the dark, with reflexes that border on the supernatural.
Behavior
Kitkats are solitary by nature, preferring their own company and looking out for no one but themselves, though they are capable of forming bonds with one another and are not antisocial so much as uninterested. Their societies do not arise on their own. They are kickstarted by circumstance forcing many of them into one place, and by an individual of great intelligence and social knowhow who gives the rest a sense of what they are together.
Left in a state of nature, a Kitkat will come to despise her own kind and keep to her own territory, though not before acquiring a human male by whatever vicious and underhanded means serve. She will stalk him before she ambushes him, or play at friendliness until his life hangs by a fraying thread, and his only choice then is to lie with her or else.
Cognition
Kitkats think differently from humans at the root, much as a cat does. They are superb at the decision that has to be made now — they fight well, steal well, lie well, and do anything that asks the body to act before the mind has finished. What they are poor at is anything that has to be built and kept: systems, plans that run past the season, the dull arrangements a civilization stands on. Any one Kitkat is far better at staying alive alone than a human would be, and most would make a poor job of running a granary.
So, a Kitkat society left to itself turns to the things its people are good at, which are taking and conquering, and it stays that way until a great leader designs something that asks less of them than they would otherwise have to give.

There is no significant dimorphism among them — no separate breed of queen, no drone, nothing in the body to mark one Apis as greater than another. Every Apis is simply an Apis, and those who lead do so by skill and talent alone in a natural societal state.
Highly social and intelligent, the Apis organize themselves into strict, orderly hierarchies to harvest nectar and systematically expand their territory with precise execution.
Behavior and Society
Despite their industrious nature, the true craving of the Apis lies not in the nectar of flowers, but in human men. Their interactions with humanity are governed by a distinct set of behaviors:
The Hunt: Upon spotting a male, an Apis will eagerly pursue him, attempting to seduce him with elegant words and sensual movements.
Aggression: If seduction fails, their patience quickly wears thin; they will become deeply frustrated and resort to physical assault.
The Hive Captivity: When hunting in groups, they will ruthlessly overwhelm their prey and drag him back to their honey-soaked hives, where he is confined and kept for breeding until the day he dies.
Aristocratic Hierarchy and Culture
"To the Apis, the world is not a shared ecosystem, but an orchard waiting to be harvested."
The Apis possess a deeply snobby, aristocratic demeanor, carrying themselves with immense pride. High-ranking members of their society proudly display their status by wearing elaborate crowns woven from rare, exotic flowers.
This sense of superiority shapes their entire worldview:
Territorial Supremacy: They firmly believe that every piece of nature is theirs by right, and that extracting sweet nectar — and human males — from the land is their natural privilege.
Insectoid Disdain: They look down upon all other insect-based monsters, deeming them unworthy and inferior.
Human Exception: Humans, by contrast, are viewed quite favorably — provided they do not reject the Apis' sexual advances.
Speech Note: Very high-pitched, squeaky voices. Often mispronounces languages which are not native to them.

Keys: Procyus, Opimus
Procyus Classification: Beast Disposition: Thieving, Mischievous Habitat: Forests, Settlements Region: Opimus
Procyus are raccoon‑like monster girls, their forearms, legs, and tails marked with distinctive bands of black and white fur. Short in stature and possessed of slender, nimble builds, they are perfectly adapted for agility and silent movement. These cunning scavengers commonly infest the slums of human settlements, slipping through alleyways and darting across rooftops in their endless search for food and small valuables. They are notorious hoarders, stuffing their dens with stolen goods—especially scraps raided from trash bins—and often nestle themselves amid the very refuse they pilfer. Despite their filthy habits, Procyus are clever survivors, adept at charming or tricking their way out of trouble. Should a human draw too close, they lash out with needle‑sharp claws before vanishing into the nearest alleyway, leaving nothing behind but a faint rustle of stolen wrappers.

Cavazza, or "the Hive," refers to the dominant Apis hive of southeastern Opimus, where flowers grow in such abundance that the nectar they yield has always kept the hive rich in honey. Meadow, scrub, and forest edge lie interleaved across its plains and hills, each flowering in its own season, so that some bloom is always within reach of the hive.
Governance
Cavazza operates on an age-based caste system, with the Regina serving as its figurehead — she maintains cohesion and gives her children reason to live and thrive. She is the heart of Cavazza, but not the brain. The brain is the succession of castes an Apis rises through as she ages and her skills develop. Those who are the most talented, skilled, and experienced rule.
An Apis begins her life as a cleaner, scouring out the cells of the hive — janitors, the lowest of the low. As she ages, she moves on to nursing the young, whether Apis or human. From nursing she progresses to storage and construction, keeping goods and raising the hive itself. From there she becomes a Guardgia, forming Cavazza's military. And finally, she becomes a Rimnadur — a Forager — assigned to one of the hive's organizations: venturing beyond the hive to acquire goods, directing the builders and storers beneath her, and producing and selling what Cavazza has to offer. The Rimnadurs are, in effect, Cavazza's merchant class — and its ruling one.
The Guardgias carry glaives and wear light armor: straps of steel banded about the abdomen, the armpits, and the ribs, a wide helm, and an iron mask worked into a fixed expression. Both armor and mask are dyed by temperament, judged when the guard was still a recruit — yellow for the pretty, white for the naive, black and red alike for the underhanded, the jealous, the malicious. To Apis eyes red and black are the same shade; that outsiders see two colors where the hive sees one is a distinction no Avarcan has ever thought worth explaining.
Advancement is not automatic. An Apis rises only when her skills merit it; those who cannot meet the demands of the next caste remain where they are until they develop what is required, and any who prove unequal to a station they have already claimed are cast back down to climb again. Age opens the door, but competence alone decides who passes through it.
The Collectivs
The Rimnadurs are organized into many Collectivs, each specializing in the production and export of specific goods. The Collectivs and their heads bring in the hive's wealth, and so ultimately determine Cavazza's direction. Which Collectiv leads the hive in the Regina's name is settled by petty competitions — chief among them the Sfilada Svelta, a contest in which each Collectiv has three months to acquire as much of their specialty as they can. When the season closes, the Collectivs gather at the palace in Fols, bow before their Regina, and rank themselves in Aurelian numerals.
Rank I — Collectivs Sang Vital, "Life Blood." Led by Lavenda Pollen da Sort. They specialize in extracting pollen from across the Mare Magni. Pollen is used to create honey, making it the most crucial good any Apis colony can hold.
Rank II — Collectivs Tschaira, "Wax." Led by Lengua Sflada. They produce wax, secreted from glands near — though not at — the rear, a fact that has earned them the ongoing mockery of Sang Vital, who call them Expulsaders dalg alv, "Expellers of the White." The joke persists despite their necessity: from their wax come the tablets, candles, and sculptures (of Apis, unless contracted) Cavazza exports in great quantity. They are the largest of the Collectivs, wax-making being natural to any Apis, though selling it is another matter entirely.
Rank III — Collectivs Protecturs, "Protectors." Led by Punchera d'atschal, "Steel Puncher," so named for having once punched clean through the armor of a Mučču n tmazirt pirate, impaling the foul cat on the end of her oddly large stinger. This Collectiv specializes in building fortifications, overseeing the production of steel and weaponry, and mercenary work — merchants, military, and sellswords at once, crewing ships and taking pay to drive pirates from the Mare Magni.
Other Collectivs serve the hive in ways no less vital. The Curriders da pleds, "the Runners," are paid by the other Collectivs to carry word abroad and communicate with foreign powers, serving as Cavazza's couriers and diplomats both. The Sfurzaders collect the hive's taxes, enforce its laws, and settle its disputes, always in the name of whichever Collectiv currently leads.
Humans of the Hive
The majority of Cavazza's human population lives under the hive as subjects rather than prisoners or slaves. Raised within its territory and indoctrinated from birth into the worship of the Regina — God and mother of the hive, who made every Apis within it — they are kept, cared for, and given purpose: to please and to breed with the Apis who choose to deal with them. Few know any other life, and fewer would refer to it as "servitude."
Esters
Not all who dwell in Cavazza are born to the hive. Humans and monster girls alike — particularly Silvians, Rubers, Egesta, and Feles Montana — settle within its more unpopulated territories, or in whatever areas the leading Collectiv wants them settled: coasts, riverbanks, wherever Sang Vital's trade requires hands. They come as Esters, drawn by an offer the Curriders spread abroad: land, cheaply given, at three times the ordinary tax — which, by Avarcan standards, is forgiving.
Many take it. Esters keep their own folk ways, build their own settlements, and are governed by leaders they have chosen themselves. The Collectivs work within them as they do anywhere else, using them as staging grounds — Sang Vital moving pollen through, Tschaira selling wax, the Sfurzaders collecting what is owed.
Esters are kept in line by little more than expectation. Avarcan society runs on trust: one behaves because one is trusted to behave, and few see reason to do otherwise. But trouble is defined by the Apis, and should one feel herself wronged by an Ester, the matter passes to the Sfurzaders, who hear the accusation and decide what is owed. The accused is then asked to offer a service in tribute to the Apis he has wronged.
The Sfurzaders have their own biases and their own agendas, and an Ester rarely walks away judged innocent. Worse, the law they enforce shifts each time leadership changes hands, bending to whichever Collectiv last came out on top. The system the Sfurzaders operate in is, by any outside measure, badly in need of reform.

Relations: Guaranteeing the independence of Kote-land Language Spoken: Rīċe (Anglo-Saxon analog) Ruler: Cyning Beowulf the Twenty-Fifth, the Bookish
A kingdom on the northern coast of Ryne, Wīgena Rīċe lies along the cold and churning shores of the Frozen Sea, and its people trace their ancestry to the cold and desolate lands of Nurthenhei, from which they migrated southward into Ryne long, long ago.
Their folklore holds that they were led by a legendary warrior known only as Beowulf the First, dressed in lamellar and a daunting iron helm that covered his face but left the eyes visible, and that with sword and shield his mere presence deterred the Wildes — the Rīċe term for monster girls — foul Lupas and all their kin alike, as he led his people on a restless march southward.
The Rīċe view the Wildes as malicious, mysterious, and barbaric creatures locked in an eternal struggle for dominance over man, for they require his seed to live.
Despite that hostility their towns house them, and a Bova, a Canis, a Roe may all live amongst men and be judged by what they do, because the alternative is worse, for the Rīċe believe a Wilde not introduced to the world of Man is bound to descend into her base nature.
Every Cyning since the founding of the kingdom has taken Beowulf's name, for he is God and a golden standard of character, and every Rīċe man measures himself against him, every king seeking to surpass Beowulf in his deeds and ascend to godhood as he did. Wīgena Rīċe today is ruled by a young boy, Beowulf the Twenty-Fifth, the Bookish, who came to the throne when his father, the Learned, rode south with a large host of Healdans meaning to understand why the sky had begun to bleed. Neither the Learned nor his men have been seen since, and so his son, who had been studying in Stad Gode, came home to be Cyning.
Clan, Grievance, and the Shedding
The land of the Rīċe belongs to its clans and passes to their heirs, and it is not bought and it is not granted at a king's pleasure, for the only way one clan takes ground from another is by grievance — a wrong done, and a wrong answered in obligation, reparation, or land.
Such claims come before the Cyning, who hears both Beorendas speak and judges what is owed, and most matters end there. What does not end there ends in the Shedding, a duel between the greatest Healdans of each clan, chosen by the Beorendas involved and fought before witnesses, in which the first man to bleed has lost whatever else he may have proven. It is arranged this way so that nobody dies.
It is from the Shedding that the Rīċe get their manner of fighting, for a people who settle inheritance by a single cut do not raise men who throw themselves forward. They raise men who keep the shield up, hold ground, and answer — patient, defensive, and dangerous in the moment after the opening has presented itself.
Standing Within the Clan
Every man of the Rīċe belongs to a clan, and a farmer is a lesser clansman rather than a lesser thing, kin to the Beorend who heads his people, owed protection and owing service.
Standing comes three ways. It is inherited, for the sons of Beorendas. It is taken, by those who become Healdans. Or it is given, for a Beorend may lay a hand on the head of a man who has proven useful and raise him where he stands, and a Beorend without an heir may raise one that way and make him kin outright.
The Healdans
The Healdans are the warrior caste of the Rīċe, men of the clans who have chosen to carry on Beowulf's will and serve as houseguard to their Beorend, and a man is not born to it. He takes it up as a labor when he comes of age, tasked with felling a tree with a large axe in under a minute, and when it comes down he bows with both hands to Beowulf and to his descendants. There is no shame in the years it takes him, for no one manages it quickly and many never manage it at all, and those who do are Healdans until they die.
The Blood Rains
The pours of red came recently and have not stopped. What falls is blood, tasting faintly of fruit, and what follows it are harvests heavier than any living man can remember.
The Rīċe have made their peace with it as they make peace with anything unavoidable, difficult, or simply unknown, which is to say they have decided it is a joke of Beowulf's, and in this case a generous one. Fields that fed a meager village now feed a town, and nobody asks why the sky which Beowulf ascended to is bleeding.
The Never Seen
South of the settled land lie the Everwoods, which the Rīċe call the Never Seen. Clansmen have gone into them hoping to return with news of new country and the favor of their Beorend, and so have the sons of Beorendas, hoping for something easier and better than a land they would have to inherit, fight, or plot for. The name is what the kingdom has to show for all of them, for little is known of it and any party sent by the Beorendas to find empty, resource-rich land worth settling has never returned.
The Fanged Roe
The raids began in the south, out of the Never Seen, and they came as the Roe do — with smiles, with instruments, with songs and pleas for shelter — and what followed left villages emptied. Children eaten. Women stripped of their flesh. Men taken and kept, for breeding.
The Rīċe call them the Fanged Roe and believe them to be what becomes of a Roe left unhoused to fend for herself, for out in the Never Seen she is possessed by the Dēorgāst, the Beastly Spirit, and what walks out of the wood is no longer what walked in. This is how the Rīċe tell a civilized Wilde from an uncivilized one, and it is why their doors have always opened, since a Wilde kept among men stays a Wilde while a Wilde sent away becomes something else and comes back with different intentions.
Which leaves the kingdom in a position it has no answer for, for the raids came in wearing Roe faces, and so town after town has closed its gates to any deer-shaped thing that comes walking, lute or no lute, knowing that trusting the wrong one could cost them everything.

The Wendicgonga
Classification: Beast Disposition: Calm, Timid Habitat: Forests Region: Ryne
Anatomy and Deceptive Appearance The Wendicgonga are deer-like monster girls who dwell deep within the dense woodlands of Ryne. They possess a petite, short build that closely resembles the far more docile Roe species. This physical likeness allows them to blend seamlessly into the forest undergrowth, appearing to unsuspecting travelers as nothing more than harmless, timid creatures foraging peacefully for plants.
Beneath this deceptive, gentle facade, however, lies a predatory anatomy equipped with jagged antlers, sharp teeth, and long, crimson claws that serve as their primary weapons. Because of their frail physical defenses and lack of raw strength, they rely entirely on stealth, dexterity, and ambush tactics to survive.
Predatory Behavior and Hunting Strategy "They watch from the shadows of the canopy, waiting for the vulnerable to stray too far from the safety of the village."
Wendicgonga are patient stalkers. They quietly observe their surroundings from a distance, frequently lingering near the fringes of human settlements in search of easy prey.
Target Selection: Aware of their own physical limitations, they actively avoid confrontations with full-grown men. Instead, they selectively target young boys or boys who lack the strength to fight back.
The Ambush: Once a target is isolated, the Wendicgonga stalks them from a safe distance through the brush. When the perfect opportunity arises, she utilizes her high agility to pounce, swiftly subduing the victim with her sharp claws.
Fate of the Captives The treatment of their victims depends entirely on the sex of the captured individual:
Female Humans: Viewed strictly as a food source, captured human females are torn apart and devoured on the spot.
Male Humans: Kept alive for reproductive purposes, captured human males are violently assaulted, forced to mate, and physically marked so the Wendicgonga can return to them for later extractions of semen.

Camazotz Classification: Magical Beast Disposition: Introverted, Naive, Sadistic Habitat: Forests, Plains, Swamps, Hills, Mountains Region: Opimus, Ryne, Flumen, Rubra, Zhongtu
Camazotz are bat-like monster girls with large, dark wings capable of sustained flight. Their bodies are covered in short fur along the legs, forearms, arms, and groin. Their skin is a darkish brown. Tall and athletic with a distinctly feminine build, they possess piercing scarlet eyes adapted for nocturnal hunting. Camazotz descend from their caves at night to hunt for prey. Human males are often targeted for their semen, which they use both for sustenance and reproduction, while females of any race are typically mauled and devoured.
They locate their prey through echolocation, descending silently before unleashing a highly disorienting, high-pitched screech. Once the target is subdued, they’re at the Camazotz’s mercy. Camazotzs take sadistic pleasure in tormenting their prey, relishing the pain they inflict. Believing that scarring a man is an act of intimacy. Though capable of speech, their communication is broken and primitive, and they lack any understanding of social norms. They’re also dreadfully naive, making them very easy to manipulate.

Keys: Barghest, Ryne
Barghest Classification: Magical Beast Disposition: Fierce, Bold, Hedonistic Region: Ryne Habitat: Forest Strengths: Immense physical power, exceptional nocturnal vision Weaknesses: Overwhelming lust that overrides all reason; extreme sensitivity to bright light Civilization Potential: Low
A Barghest is a hound-like monster girl with raven-black skin, throbbing crimson eyes, and coarse dark fur that spreads across her forearms, legs, chest, and arms. A long, shaggy tail lashes behind her as she moves. Her frame is powerfully built yet unmistakably feminine, and remarkably durable. Barghests roam the nighted woodlands and plains of Ryne, hunting not for food, but for males to savagely ravish. Their eyes are specialized for utter darkness, granting sight that rivals an eagle's; they can spot prey from miles away in the dead of night. That gift, however, comes at a price—their retinas burn in bright light, direct sunlight being sheer agony.
Hedonism defines them. In their idle hours, they sprawl inside caves, pleasuring themselves endlessly. No human is safe: female or male, both are targets of a Barghest's relentless appetite. Once a victim is subdued, the Barghest wastes no time. She mounts with feral urgency and indulges until the captive's pelvis gives way. In open combat, Barghests are terrifying opponents, using razor claws and long canines to maim and tackle enemies to the earth. Communication with these beasts is near impossible—their minds are fogged by a permanent, roaring need that leaves no room for reason. They cannot see beyond the next mate.
