Notes on Subject Alpha are gathered here. Due to the unethical nature of experimentation and the subject's violent reaction to the presence of adults all data has been gathered via audiovisual recordings.

Behaviour - Subject Alpha is known to feed on the subconscious fear and seminal emissions of prey aged one year to adolescence of a supposed "monster under the bed" and manifests just in that spot: Underneath the piece of furniture the subject sleeps on. There doesn't seem to be a specific need for the furniture to be elevated or even intended for use as furniture, only that it currently serves as bedding for the victim. Notably in the case of a sleeping bag she simply appears inside of the bag itself. Once manifested the subject immediately begins probing from beneath the bed with her long arms to locate the victim before exiting the underside of the bed (unless she manifested next to them already) and climbing atop the furniture the victim is sleeping on. She will stare at the victim silently until they are roused from sleep, her gaze seems to exhibit a paralytic property (whether literal or simply from fear) on the victim. She will allow her long, semi-articulate tongue to probe the victim's mouth for a deep gagging French kiss. This serves as an affectionate gesture and to silence any sounds of distress, preventing outside assistance from coming to aid the victim. Once gagged she uses her claws to remove clothing by cutting it off, exposing the genitals and erogenous zones to her molestation. She typically only performs vaginal sex on male victims and seems to prefer them, but also targets females. Subject Alpha notably becomes agitated and violent in the presence of adults, lashing out violently and then retreating back under the initial manifestation point. If this is destroyed she seems capable of using any dark space to escape including shadows created by research personnel in one instance.

On rare cases she may abduct the victim afterwards, dragging them into the darkness under the bed never to be seen again. It is unknown where the darkness leads but theorists suggest a pocket dimension.

Appearance: Subject Alpha appears to be a nine foot tall wolf humanoid with black fur and glowing yellow eyes. Her wolflike head possess a pair of goat like horns along with big, upwards pointed furry ears like a fox. She posesses extremely long limbs ending in paw-like hands with sharp claws capable of cutting bone. Her snout is lined with razor sharp teeth, but the most striking feature is her extremely long semi-prehensile tongue that can bend and move like a tentacle. Saliva samples taken from the site of prior manifestations have revealed it produces a natural aphrodisiac and sleep-inducing effect, theorizied to be an adaptation specifically made for targeting sleeping prey. She has shorter fur on the fronts of her legs and medium sized humanoid breasts with pink nipples. Her legs are digitigrade and end in paws. She has a bushy wolflike tail. Notably the subject does not appear to make any vocalizations or sounds when moving, she is silent and purposeful in body language but seems to have a certain penchant for deliberately terrorizing prey. Interviews with previous victims indicate that she speaks in a hushed, whispering tone.
