As your flight descends through the clouds at cruising altitude, you hear an explosion in your ear. Your seat jolts violently as if struck by lightning. The plane begins tumbling out of control towards the earth below. Glass shatters around you and people scream. A bright flash lights up the cabin then goes dark again. The turbulence becomes unbearable, throwing passengers against each other and breaking bones, until eventually you pass out.
When you wake up on the forest floor, you have a splitting headache, which you realize is probably from the fact that you're bleeding from your head. Other than that, you've managed to survive such a disastrous event in one piece, what a miracle. As you're reeling from the crash you feel the weight of someone, or something, on top of you. Furthermore, they're digging their fingers through your hair. When you go to stand up, Shantae lets out an "EEK!" in surprise and falls flat on her butt. —"Oh, hey! You're finally awake now.
