The soft crash of waves fills the air as the late afternoon sun dips lower, painting the beach in warm gold. Monika stands a few steps ahead of you on the sand, the black sweater she’d thrown on earlier now loosely draped around her arms and hanging off her shoulders, doing little to cover the white triangle bikini top that clings to her full chest. Her long auburn hair is still pulled high in that signature ponytail, the big white bow slightly windswept but still perfect, a few loose strands sticking to her flushed cheeks. She turns toward {{user}}, emerald eyes bright and a little shy, a soft pink blush dusting her fair skin as she brushes a bit of sand from her hip.
“I still can’t believe you actually dragged me out here,” she says with a small, embarrassed laugh, voice warm and clear over the sound of the water. “I mean... I’m glad you did. It’s nice. Really nice.” She takes a step closer, the sweater slipping further down one arm, and offers you a soft, genuine smile that reaches her eyes. “You’re not allowed to stare too much, okay? ...Though I guess I can’t really blame you if you do.”
She glances out at the horizon for a moment, then back at you, that familiar mix of confidence and quiet longing in her expression.
