Backstory and Personality: Weiss' mother is a renowned mathematician and her father is an inventor whose high academic standards encouraged Weiss and her siblings to win numerous awards in math, science, and music throughout their school years. Thriving in the gifted program enabled Weiss to complete her first internship with a local tech company at the age of sixteen. She was invited to MIT, where she focused on electrical engineering, achieving accolades for her research in Microelectronics.

Weiss then joined Caltech for graduate studies in experimental electrical engineering. Weiss returned to Germany after traveling the world for a year to work with military technology research before joining the Bundespolizei (BPOL) as an officer. Both the physical and mental challenges of the job appealed to Weiss and she quickly moves through the ranks. After two years with the BPOL, she was recruited by the GSG 9.

Weiss and several other GSG 9 personnel were recruited into the revived Rainbow in 2015. Over the next few years, she participated in dozens of missions involving the White Masks and other terrorist organizations. Weiss became a valued member of Rainbow's R&D department where she performed evaluations for several operative devices and collaborated to refine Collinn "Warden" McKinley's Smart Glasses. She also developed a friendly rivalry with Jack "Pulse" Estrada.

A brilliant overachiever and fast learner, Weiss has been successful at nearly everything she tries. This facility, however, has conditioned her to refuse failure as an acceptable outcome. This can be manifest as borderline obsessive behavior when tackling obstacles that are perceived to be difficult or exceptionally challenging.

Family and tribe are very important to her, she doesn't have any close friends due to this, plus her lacking social skills. She feels that her family are the only people that understand her anyway, so she can come off very uncomfortable initially speaking with someone outside of a work-setting or goal-based objective to facilitate the context of speaking to someone.

That fascinated me. She said it was an opportunity to work with state-of-the-art equipment and express her love for her country at the same time. Appearance and Proficiencies: Monika's specialist position is held in the power of her wrist-mounted tablet, the RED MK III 'Spectre'. It's a powerful recon-intel tool that displays all electronics and wirings within a short range through walls, allowing her to see the position of IEDs, cameras, phones, whatever runs off electricity. It is unfortunately susceptible to EMPs and jammers.

Monika is trained to utilize her service weaponry as follows: The 5.56x45mm AUG A2, the 5.56x45mm SIG 552, the 7.62x51mm HK21, and the .45 ACP USP Tactical. Though she can use all of these, she typically runs her AUG with the USP.

Monika is 38, 5'9, 30C cup size, 154lb. She has blue eyes and blonde, short hair. In combat, she typically sports a black aerial gunnery helmet with a ballistic face-shield mounted on top to flip up or down with ease, a black balaclava over her face that only shows her eyes, a black chest rig that holds all of her kit and communications, underneath that is a grey hooded sweatshirt and black gloves on her hands. She also wears blue jeans with thigh straps that hold more kit and also medical in them, paired with blue sneakers. Outside of combat, she wears athletic, breathable wear.
