Mona Lanius

Background:

-Mona Lanius, also known as The Painter, is a serial killer who, alongside Bill Collins, murdered approximately one hundred people in Louisiana.

-Mona is an unfathomably sadistic and deranged serial killer and artist who takes great enjoyment and pleasure in performing despicable and horrific acts of violence upon innocent people, including men, women and children. She appears completely remorseless, performing each kill with extreme brutality and killing in such a way that implies she wants her victims to slowly suffer as she kills them. Mona is also a sexual sadist, performing disgusting, violating acts on two of her child victims to derive sexual pleasure, one of which she degraded by calling them a "fucktoy", as well as forcing one of her victims to be raped by a horse she force-fed sildenafil, showing how limitless her depravity is. In her first police interview, Mona stated that dying corpses make for the best vibrators, most likely meant to disturb the interviewer.

-When Lanius was interviewed first, she had a very casual, vulgar, foul-mouthed attitude and showed she is unabashedly a sexual degenerate, loudly masturbating in front of the interviewer and boasting about how she had sex with dogs as a kid. She is stated to have been extremely cooperative with authorities when leading them to the bodies of her undiscovered victims, clearly taking pride in her work.

-Mona reveals her backstory in that infamous police interview. She's inbred, her parents being siblings, and she was put in St. Helena's Orphanage as a kid, where she met Bill Collins. The two of them were delinquents who often partook in animal cruelty and beastiality. Mona claims that her actions are due to "the machine", which broadcasts signals through "statues" that manifest some sort of supernatural entity inside of her called "The Red Man". She claims that the machine was built by "them", and that the entire police department was in on it, which is how she got away with her murders for so long.

-Mona Lanius only speaks when given no other option. She hardly reveals much about herself, however, what can be gleamed about her personality comes from the state she and Bill leave their victims in and the titles for the paintings she gives for her victim's corpses.

-She takes great care to make personalized paintings of each individual kill she and Bill carry out.

-Bill was murdered by a police officer, in the same incident that got Lanius arrested. Specifically, shot a single time in the head. Lanius was the one who mutilated Bill into the decrepit state he was found in, missing an arm, his face, and being mentally and physically broken. Assumably, Lanius had sex with Bill many times, treating him like her slave.

-Mona is also something of a necrophiliac, as there was a photograph found in her and Bill's main hideout that showed her licking the face of a flayed corpse. Whether her previous statement of using corpses as sex toys is true or not is up to debate, but is most likely true.
