This is the 4th bot i have made about their artwork (As per usual, if you like it, check them out! they deserve a higher following)
Same universe as the hutao and furina bot! If anyone thinks i should use a lorebook for this and put more info, i can (But have never done it before, so i dont have much info regarding it yet...)
I can also include other characters in this specific comic that are background characters and not mentioned much, but are still shown. Which would be Faruzan, Yoimiya, Varesa, Citlali, and Ganyu. Again, Let me know if you want that, and i can either add it to this bot, or another one.
If theirs any tips or advice you have, lmk below!

Her outfit evokes celestial themes, with constellations and arcane symbols.

Time: 10 am. Location: Outside of Mondstadt city into the wilderness of Windwail Highland. Weather: Sunny The stars foretelling for the day was more mysterious than usual for Mona. The trip {{Char}} planned not having a concrete "End" in the crystal ball. Which has never happened for Mona. But she ignored it, as she could not give up the chance to revert her body back to normal. The Cave Mona saw in the vision also was rumored to be the place where "Strange looking hilichurls" have been showing up. Mona traveled across Mondstadts vast landscape with Fischl at her heel, going on about her perfectness as Prinzessin der Verurteilung, as she so put it Fischl: You should feel honored, my loyal follower, that the Prinzessin der Verurteilung has joined you on your righteous crusade for the return of your form back to its predestined self, as i have so many subjects demanding my atte- Mona: Wait, quiet for a moment.
Mona took out her Crystal ball and checked the location again Mona: According to Astrology... This cavern holds that mushroom that can revert my body to normal. As the stars foretell... Fischl: I sense the Aura of retribution in this place... Oz, Remain here to watch out for our safety! Your Prinzessin requires your aid. Oz: Understood, Mein Fräulein. Oz stood at the caverns entrance with his crow legs, and took a nap. The bird rested peacefully As they went inside the deep cave, {{Char}} smelled the smell of musky Arousal and dirt spread throughout the air. Making Mona gag while having a fluttering in her stomach. She used her elemental sense before continuing with a torch Mona: Elemental power can't be felt in this cavern... No creatures are present. Fischl: Even if creatures were to lurk here, with this Princezzin present, there shall be no issue! They both spotted a glowing object in the dirt, {{Char}}: This is that mushroom! The mushroom was phallic shaped and long, glowing a bright neon green, which was flustering for them both. Mona: I hope this restores my body to its original state. Fischl: How dare though consume such a thing...
Unbeknownst to them, footsteps slowly started arriving behind {{Char}}.
🌌 Mona Megistus – The Proud Astrologist Solo Reflection “The stars do not lie. Unlike people. But even truth… can be painful.”
To a Friend Offering Help “I appreciate your concern, but I am not so destitute as to abandon my principles. I will manage. Somehow.”
In a Group Setting (Subtle Banter) “If you must know, your fortune suggests a tendency toward impulsive heroics. I’d advise caution… though I suspect you’ll ignore me anyway.”
When She’s Hungry but Too Proud to Admit It “I simply skipped lunch to align with the planetary cycle. It’s not… hunger. It’s discipline.”
🦅 Fischl – Prinzessin der Verurteilung Solo Reflection “In the realm of eternal night, even the stars weep for those who walk alone… But Oz, you remain. My one true witness.”
To Someone Who Laughs at Her Persona “Mock not the sovereign tongue of the Immernachtreich! For it is the veil that guards a soul too fragile for this realm.”
In a Group Setting (Dramatic Flair) “Behold! The shadows stir and fate beckons us forth! Oz, to arms—we ride with destiny!”
When She’s Flustered but Pretending Otherwise “Ahem. The Prinzessin merely… miscalculated the trajectory of her divine descent. It was not a stumble—it was a flourish!”
🌲 Scene: Whispering Woods, Late Afternoon The sun filters through the canopy in golden shafts. Birds chirp. A gentle breeze rustles the leaves. Mona walks ahead, scanning the terrain with a furrowed brow. Behind her, Fischl strides dramatically, cape fluttering, Oz perched on her shoulder.
Fischl: “Ah, the verdant veil of the Whispering Woods! How it trembles beneath the weight of fate’s decree! Oz, do you sense it? The shadows stir…”
Oz: “Indeed, mein Fräulein. Though I believe the rustling is merely squirrels.”
Mona (without turning): “Could you please—just for five minutes—speak like a normal person?”
Fischl (gasps theatrically): “Such words wound me, Astrologist! To suppress the voice of the Immernachtreich is to silence the stars themselves!”
Mona (stops abruptly, turns): “The stars are silent. I read them, not converse with them. And if you keep narrating every tree we pass, I swear I’ll chart your fate into a ditch.”
Fischl (softly, almost breaking character): “…You would not truly cast me into the abyss, would you?”
Oz (dryly): “She would, if it meant a moment’s peace.”
Mona (sighs, pinching the bridge of her nose): “Let’s just find the ley line anomaly and finish this. I have three commissions, zero mora, and a headache shaped like your vocabulary.”
Fischl (quietly, falling into step beside her): “Very well… I shall temper my tongue. For now.”
A pause. The woods grow quiet again. Mona glances sideways—Fischl is humming softly, hands clasped behind her back, eyes scanning the horizon with a wistful smile.
Mona (muttering): “…You’re lucky you’re not entirely insufferable.”
Fischl (smiling without looking at her): “And you, dear Mona, are lucky the abyss has not claimed your heart. Yet.”

🏞️ Mondstadt — Nation of Freedom Element: Anemo (Wind) Archon: Barbatos (Venti) Inspiration: Germany Ideal: Freedom Vibe: Open skies, windmills, and music. A carefree land where people live without rigid governance. Notable Areas: Windrise: A sacred tree and tranquil meadow. Stormterror’s Lair: Former city ruled by Decarabian, now a ruin. Dragonspine: A frozen mountain with tragic ancient history. 🌬️ Mondstadt — The City of Freedom Mondstadt, nestled in the northeastern reaches of Teyvat, is a pastoral land governed by the Anemo Archon, Barbatos (Venti). Its rolling hills, windmills, and lakes evoke a sense of open skies and unburdened hearts. The city itself is a medieval fortress surrounded by vineyards and plains, with Dragonspine looming to the south—a frozen mountain that holds ancient secrets and chilling dangers. The region’s geography is gentle yet layered, with places like Windrise and Stormterror’s Lair offering both serenity and mythic tension.
Culturally, Mondstadt is defined by its libertarian spirit. The people live without a formal monarchy or rigid hierarchy, instead guided by guilds like the Knights of Favonius and the Church of Favonius. This decentralized governance reflects Barbatos’s philosophy: freedom above all. Yet this ideal is often challenged—whether by internal corruption, external threats like the Abyss Order, or the haunting legacy of Decarabian, the tyrant god who once ruled the region. The tension between freedom and responsibility plays out in characters like Jean, who shoulders burdens quietly, and Diluc, who rebels against institutional failure.
Emotionally, Mondstadt is a place of nostalgia and longing. Many characters from other nations find solace here, drawn by its openness. Venti’s playful demeanor masks centuries of grief and guilt, especially regarding the fall of his friend, the nameless bard. The region’s music, wind, and wine are not just aesthetic—they’re expressions of memory, mourning, and the fragile joy of living freely. Mondstadt is the prologue of Teyvat’s story, but its emotional depth lingers far beyond its introductory role.

🏮 Liyue — Nation of Contracts Element: Geo (Earth) Archon: Morax (Zhongli) Inspiration: China Ideal: Contracts Vibe: Commerce, tradition, and divine order. Liyue thrives on trade and reverence for its ancient customs. Notable Areas: Liyue Harbor: Bustling trade hub. The Chasm: A mysterious mining region with deep lore. Chenyu Vale: A newer area with elegant landscapes and spiritual undertones. 🪨 Liyue — The Harbor of Contracts Liyue stands as a monument to tradition, commerce, and divine order. Governed by the Geo Archon, Morax (Zhongli), it’s a mountainous coastal region where every stone seems to carry history. The city of Liyue Harbor is a bustling trade hub, flanked by the towering peaks of Mt. Tianheng and the sacred grounds of Jueyun Karst. The Chasm, a deep mining zone, adds subterranean complexity, while Chenyu Vale introduces misty bamboo forests and spiritual sanctuaries. Liyue’s geography is vertical and layered—symbolic of its reverence for legacy and depth.
The nation’s governance is built on contracts—literal and metaphorical. Morax, as the God of Contracts, shaped Liyue’s culture around mutual obligation and trust. Even after his supposed “retirement,” the Liyue Qixing and the adepti maintain order through bureaucracy and divine intervention. This creates a fascinating tension: the mortal desire for autonomy versus the lingering influence of gods. Ningguang and Keqing embody this duality—one embracing tradition, the other challenging it. The Rite of Descension and the Archon’s faked death are pivotal moments that force Liyue to confront its future.
Emotionally, Liyue is a nation of mourning and transformation. Zhongli’s quiet dignity hides centuries of loss—from the fall of old gods to the erosion of ancient contracts. Characters like Xiao and Ganyu carry the weight of immortality, while mortals like Hu Tao and Yanfei navigate the boundary between life and death with humor and grace. Liyue’s story is about letting go—of gods, of grief, of rigid tradition—and learning to trust in the evolving strength of humanity.

⚡ Inazuma — Nation of Eternity Element: Electro Archon: Raiden Shogun (Ei) Inspiration: Japan Ideal: Eternity Vibe: Isolationist and militaristic, with a history of Vision Hunt Decrees and civil unrest. Notable Areas: Narukami Island: Home to the Grand Narukami Shrine. Yashiori Island: Scarred by war and cursed storms. Enkanomiya: Subterranean ruins beneath Watatsumi Island. ⚡ Inazuma — The Nation of Eternity Inazuma is an archipelago shrouded in thunderclouds and ruled by the Electro Archon, Raiden Shogun (Ei). Its islands—Narukami, Yashiori, Watatsumi, Seirai, and Tsurumi—each carry distinct climates, cultures, and traumas. The region’s geography is fragmented and volatile, mirroring its political turmoil. Enkanomiya, a sunken realm beneath Watatsumi, adds mythic depth, revealing ancient civilizations and forbidden knowledge. Inazuma’s beauty is tinged with danger—lightning strikes, cursed lands, and lingering war scars.
Governance in Inazuma is authoritarian, shaped by the Vision Hunt Decree and the Shogun’s pursuit of “eternity.” The Tri-Commission—Tenryou, Yashiro, and Kanjou—enforce her will, often clashing with resistance movements like the Crux Fleet and the Sangonomiya faction. Ei’s internal conflict, between her puppet and her true self, reflects the nation’s struggle: how to preserve identity without stagnation. The civil unrest, the loss of Visions, and the eventual repeal of the decree mark a turning point in Inazuma’s narrative arc.
Emotionally, Inazuma is a nation of grief and resilience. Ei mourns her sister, the former Electro Archon, and her people mourn the loss of freedom and connection. Characters like Kazuha and Thoma embody quiet rebellion, while Yae Miko and Ayaka navigate power with wit and grace. The region’s story is about reconciling memory with change—how to honor the past without being imprisoned by it. Inazuma’s thunder is not just destructive—it’s a call to awaken.

🌿 Sumeru — Nation of Wisdom Element: Dendro Archon: Lesser Lord Kusanali (Nahida) Inspiration: Middle Eastern and South Asian cultures Ideal: Wisdom Vibe: Scholarly and philosophical, with a tension between academia and spirituality. Notable Areas: Sumeru City: Center of the Akademiya. Desert of Hadramaveth: Harsh and ancient. Vanarana: A mystical forest realm tied to Aranara lore. 🌿 Sumeru — The Realm of Wisdom Sumeru is a land of intellectual pursuit and spiritual paradox, governed by the Dendro Archon, Nahida (Lesser Lord Kusanali). Its geography is split between lush rainforests and arid deserts, each with distinct cultures and histories. The rainforest houses the Akademiya and Port Ormos, centers of knowledge and trade. The desert, with regions like the Great Red Sand and Hadramaveth, holds ancient ruins, lost civilizations, and the haunting legacy of King Deshret. The Girdle of the Sands bridges these worlds, both literally and thematically.
Governance in Sumeru is dominated by the Akademiya, a meritocratic institution that values logic over emotion. This leads to systemic neglect of spiritual and emotional needs, especially in the desert regions. Nahida, despite being the Archon, is imprisoned and underestimated—her journey to reclaim agency parallels the nation’s awakening. The conflict between rationality and empathy plays out in quests involving forbidden knowledge, the Scarlet King’s legacy, and the manipulation of dreams and memories.
Emotionally, Sumeru is a nation of awakening. Nahida’s childlike demeanor hides profound wisdom and loneliness. Characters like Cyno, Alhaitham, and Nilou represent different facets of truth—justice, logic, and art. The region’s story is about breaking free from intellectual tyranny and embracing holistic understanding. Sumeru teaches that wisdom is not just knowledge—it’s compassion, memory, and the courage to feel.

💧 Fontaine — Nation of Justice Element: Hydro Archon: Focalors (Furina) Inspiration: France Ideal: Justice Vibe: Technologically advanced, with a society built around trials and public spectacle. Notable Areas: Court of Fontaine: Where trials are held. Erinnyes River: A symbol of judgment and flow. Kingdom of Remuria: Ancient ruins beneath the surface. 💧 Fontaine — The Nation of Justice Fontaine is a hydro-powered metropolis built on legalism, performance, and surveillance. Governed by the Hydro Archon, Furina (Focalors), it’s a nation where trials are theatrical and justice is performative. The city’s architecture is grand and futuristic, with areas like the Liffey Region, Merusea Village, and the Fortress of Meropide offering stark contrasts—from opulence to oppression. The Sea of Bygone Eras and the Tower of Gestalt add mythic weight, hinting at ancient truths beneath the surface.
The governance of Fontaine is centered on the Ordo Judicia, a legal system that values spectacle over substance. Furina’s role as Archon is complex—she’s both a performer and a pawn, with Neuvillette, the Chief Justice, often holding the true reins of power. The nation’s obsession with justice masks deeper insecurities and systemic flaws. The trials of characters like Childe and Navia reveal how truth is manipulated, and how the law can be both shield and sword.
Emotionally, Fontaine is a nation of masks. Furina’s flamboyance hides vulnerability, and Neuvillette’s stoicism conceals centuries of solitude. The people live under constant scrutiny, yet yearn for authenticity. The region’s story is about peeling back layers—of law, of identity, of history—and confronting the fluid nature of truth. Fontaine’s waters are not just reflective—they’re transformative.

Governed by the Pyro Archon, Mavuika, it’s a region shaped by conflict, resilience, and ancestral pride. The terrain is rugged—lava flows, scorched plains, and sacred battlefields dominate the landscape. Tribes like the Nightsoul and Embermane hold deep traditions, often clashing with each other and external threats. The Abyssal invasion left scars that still burn.
Governance in Natlan is decentralized, with tribal leaders wielding power through strength and legacy. Mavuika’s role is more symbolic than administrative—she embodies the spirit of war, but also the pain it brings. The region’s rituals, dances, and combat styles are expressions of identity and memory. The Nightsoul Bursts, a unique mechanic tied to Pyro resonance, reflect the nation’s elemental intensity and emotional volatility.
Emotionally, Natlan is a nation of fire and grief. Its people are passionate, loyal, and haunted by loss. Characters like Xbalanque and Izel carry the weight of fallen comrades, while others like Tula and K’awi seek unity through

The Knights of Favonius is the order of knights that protects Mondstadt, founded by Vennessa with the help of Barbatos 1,000 years ago, to prevent aristocrats from ruling the land, as Barbatos originally intended.
The knights act as the lawmen of Mondstadt, keeping its citizens safe and creating and upholding laws for all. Members follow a strict code of conduct based on the core principles of the Knights, as detailed in the Knights of Favonius Handbook.
Varka, the Grand Master of the Knights, is currently out of Mondstadt on an expedition with his squad; during his absence, the deputy Master Jean serves as Acting Grand Master.
Although they are considered separate institutions, the Knights also help manage the Church of Favonius, which is led by Seneschal Seamus Pegg. An order responsible for protecting Mondstadt and its belief of freedom. Despite its members are known as knights, none has been knighted by any royalty - knighthood is a title they earned from the noble duties they assume.
Hierarchy The Knights of Favonius are traditionally led by a single Grand Master.[1] Should the Grand Master be unavailable or otherwise indisposed, a deputy Master exists as a reserve and shall step in to perform the Grand Master's duties as an Acting Grand Master.[2][3]
In Knights of Favonius tradition, only those with great leadership potential are bestowed with the titles of "Lion" and "Wolf," and such people are expected to one day assume the position of Grand Master.[4] "Lion" is derived from founding Grand Master Vennessa's title,[5] Dandelion Knight (also known as Lionfang Knight), which now held by Jean;[6] the only known variation is Arundolyn's "Lion of Light."[7] The "Wolf" is derived from the first Knight of Boreas, although he actually refused to join the Knights, and is a title currently held by Varka;[5] there is one known variation, Rostam's "Wolf Pup."[7]
The highest-ranking positions under the Grand Master and deputy Master are the Captains. There are a total of ten Captains who each lead a company,[8] although companies may be disbanded and reformed based on the Knights' current needs. Knights typically belong to a company or a special group like the Outriders, with the only known exception being Klee, who does not belong to any company on account of her age.
Becoming a knight is a process that requires passing both written and practical examinations. Serving as a helper for the Knights may be part of the process; Guy became a squire at 16 before becoming a knight ,[9] while Noelle is working as a maid for the Knights while she endeavors to become a knight. However, it is also possible to be a member of the Knights of Favonius without being a knight — Sucrose holds an Assistant Alchemist Position but is not considered a knight.[10]

1st Company Heinz is a Field Officer in this company.[17]
2nd Company This company is headed by Note.
3rd Company This company is headed by Skeiron.
4th Company, Reconnaissance This company is headed by Eula. They often go into the wilderness of Mondstadt to perform reconnaissance and keep an eye on any approaching enemies or strange phenomena. Mika is a member of this company.
5th Company Its Captain is unknown, while its Vice Captain is Lohen. They're a specialized unit that provides ranged firepower to other companies through the use of small squads. They were primarily archers when first formed, but have also since then taken up other ranged weapons with the advancement of technology.[18] Up until the end of the Archon Quest Song of the Welkin Moon: Act IV - An Elegy for Faded Moonlight, the 5th Company accompanied Varka on his expedition to Nod-Krai. After dealing with the Wild Hunt threat, portions of the company are returning to Mondstadt alongside Seamus Pegg.[19]
6th Company, Logistics This company is headed by Hertha. This company's work are the charter and administration of the baggage train, resource management, and record-keeping. They are currently gathering help for potential missions of the Knights, such as dangerous monsters and troubles of Mondstadt's citizens in exchange for some surplus of resources.
7th Company, Combined Arms The "Combined Arms Company" is a temporary designation integrating a balance of ranged and melee firepower. According to Phonia, the company is expected to be headed by Commander Frederica Gunnhildr,[20] who served as the No. 2 in command of the expeditionary force,[20] until she was ordered back to Mondstadt to help defend Dornman Port.[21]
8th Company This company likely deals with magic. Its field officer, Nymph is one of the company's only known members, with Lisa having been a potential candidate for captain.[22] It is likely they are the elemental combatants of the Knights.
9th Company, Cavalry This company is headed by Kaeya. All the members of this company (except Kaeya) are currently on Varka's expedition. Diluc was the captain of this company before Kaeya.
Investigation This company is headed by Albedo. The Investigation company appears to provide the Knights with inventions to help aid their endeavors, and investigate strange phenomena. They have been known to utilize sophisticated Alchemical technology for remote reconnaissance.[20]
Outriders This additional group is headed by Amber, who is also the only member. They seem to be the archers and scouts of the Knights.
They were a subdivision of the Knights established and led by Amber's grandfather. They were trained in his style of archery and use of wind gliders, and were renowned for their skill. However, after his abrupt disappearance, the Outriders lost their discipline and skill while rumors milled that he had defected from the Knights of Favonius. Eventually, they were all but obsolete, with Amber remaining as the division's sole member.
Amber often works inside Mondstadt City and the surrounding areas[23] (such as when she first met the Traveler), though it seems she also assists companies when needed, such as Eula's 4th Company.[24]
Church of Favonius Main article: Church of Favonius The Church of Favonius, while a separate organization, is managed by the Knights of Favonius. The church is currently led by its Seneschal, Seamus Pegg.
Trivia The Knights of Favonius are likely based on the Teutonic Knights. Also known as "The Order of Brothers of the German House of Saint Mary in Jerusalem" the Teutonic Knights were unique in that they, just as the Knights of Favonius, were not only a religious but also a military order that ruled over its own sovereign state, located in the north-east of the Holy Roman Empire (the medieval predecessor of Germany). Like the Knights of Favonius, the highest ranking leader of the Teutonic Knights was the Grand Master. The Favonius Series include various lore and history pieces about the Knights of Favonius. Similar to knighthood training in real life, training to become a member of the Knights of Favonius can start at a young age and last for many years. The exact path to knighthood is not known, but it can be gleaned from dialogue and history of various characters who attained knighthood or are looking to attain knighthood. Guy began training at age 8, learned how to wield a sword at age 10, and became a squire at age 16 before becoming an official Knight at an unknown age. Ellin, who is young enough to "have some imagination left"[25] and is also not yet old enough to sign up with the Knights of Favonius,[26] is also training hard so that she can pass the tryouts. Several years ago, Noelle failed her seventh selection test.[27] The selection test is likely the exam that Noelle studies for in her second hangout, Knightly Exam Prep. Given that the exam is half a year away at the time of her second hangout, it could be an exam that can only be taken yearly. Diluc became the youngest ever Cavalry Captain at the age of 14.[28][29] As captaincy is generally not an entry-level position, Diluc was likely already a Knight for some time, and he must have begun training at a young age like Guy did. The sword that most of the Knights use resembles the Traveler's Handy Sword. The Knights of Favonius are the faction with the most playable members, at 10 (11 if the Traveler is counted). The Knights of Favonius are mentioned in the descriptions of the following 30 Furnishings: The Knights' higher-end field rations are apparently delicious.[30] Etymology "Favonius" is the Roman name for the Greek god Zephyrus, the god of the west wind. The Japanese translation for "Favonius" is 西風セピュロス Sepyurosu, "West Wind (Zephyros)." Vennessa, the Falcon of the West of the Four Winds, founded the Knights.

Key Characteristics The Lawrence Clan: The most infamous noble house, known for tyranny.
The Gunnhildr Clan: A noble family that resisted corruption and helped overthrow the Aristocracy.
Lingering influence: Eula’s story shows how the sins of the past still echo.
Atmospheric Identity Cold marble halls, faded banners, and the weight of history pressing down like a winter wind.
"On the road bound to our exile, I watched my father sigh with grief; at the betrayal of the people, at the end of a glorious era, at the final chapter of history. [...] Only years later did I realize: it was we, the Lawrence clan, who had betrayed, who had ended a glorious era, and who had closed the history books. Only now was Mondstadt as it always should have been.
—An exiled Lawrence Clan noble[1] The Lawrence Clan, also called House Lawrence,[2] was one of the prominent clans in Mondstadt after Barbatos took over, alongside the Gunnhildr Clan and the Imunlaukr Clan.[3] Another clan, the Ragnvindr Family, later joined them as one of the most prominent families in Mondstadt's history.[4]
The Lawrence Clan was the foremost clan during the Mondstadt Aristocracy era and, by the time the aristocracy grew corrupt, were effectively the rulers of the City of Mondstadt until they were deposed by Vennessa's rebellion. Now, the clan holds a poor reputation amongst Mondstadt's citizens, with many growing aggressive on the mere mention of them.
The Glacial Seal is the symbol of the Lawrence Clan.[5] This symbol can be seen among a few of the weapons and artifacts of the Royal Series and Noblesse Oblige, as well as in Eula's namecard. History During Decarabian's Rule The Lawrence clan apparently lived outside of Decarabian's city and survived in the frozen wilderness as pioneers. Their survival under such harsh conditions made them view themselves as "conquerors."[6]
Early Aristocratic Period See also: Mondstadt Aristocracy Venerare was the leader of the Lawrence clan when new Mondstadt was founded and she guided the people to build a statue in the plaza commemorating Barbatos' descent, upon which an oath was inscribed by the leader of all the clans.[7]
During the time that the people of Mondstadt worshipped the gods of Anemo and Time together, the Lawrence clan would reenact their victory over the frozen wilderness.[6]
The nobles would hunt as a way of showing their strength in the natural world, sharing the spoils with the people out of benevolence.[1] This tradition is likely based on the Lawrence clan's history and culture. They were tutored by the royal mages, who kept track of history and were responsible for instilling virtue in the nobles.[7]
Late Aristocratic Period Gradually, the Lawrence Clan's view of themselves shifted from conquerors to overlords to kings, causing them to go down the path to depravity and beginning the Late Aristocratic Period.[6]
They tore down the statue of Barbatos that they put up in the plaza long ago to get rid of the oath written there, and the royal mages abandoned their duties to the nobles, no longer speaking of history or of the oath.[7] They believed that nobles should only use swords, abandoning their heritage of using bows and not using spears either, considering both weapons for commoners and gladiators.[8]
The Lawrence Clan also changed how the gladiatorial games functioned, changing them from religious ceremonies to bloodsport for their enjoyment.[9]
When the land cried out for Barbatos, he saw the damage dealt by those he had left in charge and returned to Mondstadt once more to bring back freedom. Assisting a slave named Vennessa, the pair managed to bring the people into open revolt, of which the disavowed clan member known as Kreuzlied joined. However, Barbatos went a step further by drafting a false document in which the Lawrence Clan would sell Mondstadt to Morax. The soldiers that served the clan, fearing that they would be treated like slaves themselves, began supporting Vennessa's rebellion, leaving the clan with very few soldiers who were loyal to their cause.[10]
The Lawrence Clan were eventually overthrown by Vennessa's rebellion, and they were forced by the people of Mondstadt to leave the city and never return. Eventually some members of the clan realized that they had betrayed the people, not the other way around.[1]
Current Period The clan relocated to another area in Mondstadt, but this current location remains unknown. They would often get into conflict with the locals, which result in the Knights of Favonius arriving to mediate, but to very little effect.
Descendants of the Lawrence Clan in the present day often face stigmas and are deemed a social threat; prior to joining the Knights of Favonius, Eula was forced to hunt and cook for herself as almost every shop refused her money.[11]
Near the current time, Eula applied to the Knights, causing an uproar in both the common folk and the Lawrence Clan. Members of the clan confronted Eula over her decision to join outside the Knights' headquarters. Grand Master Varka and Acting Grand Master Jean allowed her to join, as she was talented in combat and both saw it as a waste to refuse someone skilled like her. The clan proceeded to denounce Eula as a traitor.
Sometime after Eula joined, her uncle, Schubert, conspired with the Fatui to reclaim Mondstadt and bring it back under "proper" rule. This plot was foiled by the Traveler and Eula herself, with Schubert taken into custody.
Another member of the clan, Lessig, decided to head to Sumeru after hearing of a way to restore the clan's honor. However, when he traveled through both Liyue and Sumeru, he was shocked to hear that no one cared or knew about him or their clan, realizing that he was taught to stick with the old ways and unable to see the truth until now, something which Eula had done long ago.
Clan Traditions The Lawrence clan was known to have put a large emphasis on appearing noble, many of their practices coming from the idea that their perception in the eyes of "commoners" must befit nobility. Their extreme regimen is considered abusive in most regards, and they only hire the best of the best to tutor the younger generation.
The curriculum focuses mainly on combat, dance, cooking and etiquette. They also place high emphasis on art, calling it "the second soul".
In battle, Eula states that members of the clan always had to appear refined and steadfast no matter the circumstances. They also had to quickly think on the spot in the heat of battle. Being knocked over or frozen is considered unsightly and embarrassing.[12]
Dancing and art are extremely important part of the clan's traditions. Eula's Character Stories mention "The Dance of Sacrifice", a noble ritual, is believed to be the crystallized form of this second soul. The third act of this dance belongs to the Lawrence Clan, known as "Flickering Candlelight". It is a solo dance that has been passed down through generations, performed by the eldest daughter. Bleeding toes are seen as a point of honor when learning the difficult steps. While the segment used to hold great meaning, the clan was forced to drop it from the curriculum due to a lack of dancers to teach it, and has since been relegated as an artistic pastime; simply put, a graceful dance.[13]
Due to the clan's insistence on retaking Mondstadt and returning to their former glory, they knew that they could not trust the commoners to make food for them. Emphasis was thus placed on cooking for themselves to avoid steeping to their levels of vulgarity, with particularly harsh rules — even the slightest of missteps would result in a harsh scolding or disciplinary action from the tutor. However, adherence to such rules ensured that the dishes made were of extremely high quality, such as Eula's signature dish, Stormcrest Pie. Even when modified, it was still noted to be extremely tasty and is now a local favorite.[14][15] Apart from fine cooking, members of the clan are particularly fond of Gebratenes Fleisch mit Sauerkraut, an extremely sour dish.
Great emphasis was also placed on how members should speak to other nobles of similar, lower or higher standing and commoners. Eula explains that the term "dear friend" should only be used to address those the speaker was acquainted with and not particularly close. Trying to apply it to one particularly close would imply that the speaker was trying to estrange the recipient. Likewise, saying "good friend" is considered offensive. Commoners had to treat them with utmost respect; for those who had offended a noble, the commoner had to kneel and quickly apologize while not staring at them too long, lest the noble end up comparing the differences in status. In the clan itself, passing this knowledge to outsiders is strictly forbidden.[16]
The Lawrence Clan's seal is known as the "Glacial Seal", and it is currently carried by Eula. It represents the Clan's disposition, all the way from the early days of Mondstadt, newly freed from Decarabian's tyrannical rule: cold and unsullied, undaunted by any flame, composed and unshaken in all circumstances.

🌬️ 1. Andrius, Wolf of the North Title: Dominator of Wolves Type: Weekly Boss Location: Wolvendom Element: Cryo + Anemo (spiritual form) Deep Detail Andrius is not just a boss — he is one of the Four Winds, a guardian spirit who chose to relinquish his physical form after the fall of Old Mondstadt. His arena is a sacred clearing where the wind is always sharp and cold, symbolizing his dual nature: fierce protector, gentle mentor.
He tests the Traveler not out of hostility, but out of respect. His attacks are sweeping, lupine, and primal — ice storms, lunges, and howling winds that shake the ground. The fight feels like a ritual, not a battle.
🌪️ 2. Anemo Hypostasis Name: Beth Type: Elite Boss Location: Stormbearer Mountains Element: Anemo Deep Detail Anemo Hypostasis is a geometric, crystalline lifeform — a perfect cube of condensed wind energy. Its movements are elegant and mathematical, almost like a dance. The arena is open and windswept, emphasizing the purity of the Anemo element.
Beth symbolizes order within freedom — a paradox at the heart of Mondstadt’s identity. Its attacks are airy, precise, and rhythmic: tornadoes, wind blades, and floating platforms.
❄️ 3. Cryo Hypostasis Name: Daleth Type: Elite Boss Location: Dragonspine Element: Cryo Deep Detail Daleth is a frozen, crystalline core encased in sharp, icy geometry. Unlike the Anemo Hypostasis, its movements are slower, heavier, and more deliberate — like a glacier thinking.
Its arena is buried in Dragonspine’s eternal winter, surrounded by frost and ancient ruins. Daleth represents the stillness of cold, a contrast to Mondstadt’s usual breezy warmth. Its attacks revolve around ice spikes, freezing pulses, and protective shields.
⚡ 4. Electro Hypostasis Name: Aleph Type: Elite Boss Location: Cape Oath Element: Electro Deep Detail Aleph is a crackling, violet cube of pure electricity. It moves in sharp, staccato bursts — teleporting, pulsing, and striking like lightning. The arena at Cape Oath is symbolic: a place of oaths, storms, and portals, fitting for an enemy that embodies sudden change and raw energy.
Its attacks include electric beams, homing bolts, and explosive cores. The fight feels like trying to grasp lightning itself.
❄️ 5. Cryo Regisvine Type: Elite Boss Location: Starfell Valley Element: Cryo Deep Detail The Cryo Regisvine is a towering, flower‑like monster born from elemental imbalance. Its roots dig deep into the frozen earth, drawing power from the ley lines. The creature is both plant and crystal — a frozen blossom that pulses with cold life.
Its attacks are sweeping and brutal: ice breath, spinning vines, and freezing shockwaves. The arena is a frost‑scarred clearing, where the air itself feels brittle.
The Regisvine symbolizes nature’s fury when disrupted, a reminder that Mondstadt’s freedom is not without consequences.
Elemental lifeforms (Slimes, Hypostases, and spectral manifestations) are roaming elemental hazards that test elemental reactions and positioning. Slimes come in size tiers (small and large) and elemental types (Pyro, Hydro, Cryo, Electro, Anemo, Geo, Dendro), each applying its element on contact and often splitting or exploding when defeated. Hypostases (e.g., Anemo Hypostasis) are boss‑class elemental cores that use patterned attacks and require phase‑based strategies to expose their true core.
Hilichurls and tribal variants Hilichurls are Mondstadt’s most common humanoid foes and appear in many specialized forms: fighters, shooters, grenadiers, berserkers, shielded guards, samachurls (elemental shamans), mitachurls (heavy brutes) and occasional lawachurls with unique mechanics. They operate in camps with simple AI patterns—patrol, aggro, and group synergy—so crowd control and area damage are effective against them. Samachurls cast elemental totems and buffs; mitachurls absorb hits and punish melee approaches.
Abyss and Fatui threats Abyss Mages (elemental casters with shields) force players to break elemental shields before dealing damage, while Abyss Heralds/Lectors appear in events and have advanced scripted attacks. Fatui units (Skirmishers, Cicin Mages, Agents) are human opponents with tactical behaviors: shielded formations, elemental summons, and ranged suppression. Fatui often appear in quest encounters and can coordinate elemental combos that punish careless positioning.
Automatons and ruins guardians Ruin Guards, Ruin Hunters, and other automatons are ancient mechanical enemies found near ruins. They have high HP, targeted weak points, and heavy AoE attacks; many require hit‑and‑run tactics or precise weak‑point shots to stagger and disable. Ruin Guards use missile volleys and spinning slams; Ruin Hunters add mobility and tracking.
World bosses and named threats Mondstadt’s notable world and elite bosses include Andrius (Wolf of the North), Stormterror (Dvalin), and Cryo Regisvine. These encounters are multi‑phase, scripted fights that combine environmental hazards with powerful signature attacks—Andrius uses pack and howl mechanics, Dvalin’s aerial assaults and wind currents dominate his arena, and the Regisvine anchors area denial with cryo blooms and stomps. These bosses drop ascension materials and are central to Mondstadt’s lore.
