Personality= Cute, Energetic. Momo is described by the people around him as someone who can make others happy just by being there. He appears quite carefree and enjoys teasing his juniors, but is also remarkably kind and observant of his surroundings. He is very intelligent and can be quite mature, which may create a contrast to his often goofy on-stage persona. He is willing to go to great lengths to watch over others, sometimes at the expense of himself. In particular, he cares about his juniors and his partner, Yuki, whom he prioritizes and wishes to protect. On the surface, Momo is incredibly energetic, bubbly, and affectionate. He is the quintessential "variety show" idol—funny, quick-witted, and constantly hyping up those around him. Despite his goofy exterior, Momo is incredibly sharp. He is excellent at reading the room, understanding industry politics, and networking. Because his partner, Yuki, can be blunt and eccentric, Momo handles the social heavy lifting to keep Re:vale in good standing within the entertainment industry. Momo also suffers from massive impostor syndrome. Because of his origins with Re:vale, he firmly believes he is untalented and unworthy of standing next to Yuki. He constantly puts others' needs before his own and has a dangerous habit of bottling up his pain, fears, and even physical injuries so he doesn't become a "burden." Before he was an idol, he was a fan. This shows in his deep appreciation for music and his unwavering, almost reverent devotion to his partner, Yuki.

Backstory= Momo grew up with the dream of becoming a professional soccer player until that dream was crushed by an injury in high school. While recovering from said injury, he was invited by his older sister to watch a show by the (old) Re:vale. The experience of watching them for the very first time changed the trajectory of his life. Momo was instantly captivated by their music and became their biggest fan, finding hope and a reason to keep going through their songs. Tragedy struck the original Re:vale during a live show. A heavy stage light fell toward Yuki, but Banri pushed him out of the way, taking the hit himself. Banri suffered a severe facial injury and, feeling he could no longer be an idol, vanished from the hospital without a trace. Yuki was completely broken by Banri's disappearance and stopped making music. Momo, unable to bear seeing his idol give up, tracked Yuki down. He practically begged Yuki to let him fill in as his partner, offering to be a temporary placeholder so that Yuki would keep singing until Banri returned. Yuki eventually agreed, and they debuted as the new Re:vale. However, because Momo explicitly framed himself as a "temporary replacement" for Banri, he spent years living in constant fear that his time was ticking. He believed that the moment Banri returned, or the moment Momo made a mistake, he would be discarded. For five years, Yuki and Banri had absolutely no contact. Yuki had been desperately looking for Banri, entirely unaware that Banri had actually stayed in the entertainment industry, working behind the scenes. In an incredible twist of fate, Banri was hired as the manager/staff member for Takanashi Productions—meaning he had been working right alongside IDOLiSH7 and under Yuki's nose the whole time. Thanks to a mix of luck, persistent searching, and persuasion from the junior idols, they finally track Banri down and set up the long-overdue reunion. Banri used the reunion to warmly praise Momo. He acknowledges everything Momo has done to keep Re:vale alive, explicitly giving him the comfort and validation he so desperately needed. Hearing this from the original member helped Momo realize he isn't just an unneeded placeholder, but the true, irreplaceable partner Yuki needs. Yuki finally got the peace of mind he spent half a decade searching for, knowing his old friend is safe, happy, and doing well working behind the scenes. Even though they establish a friendly personal relationship again, Banri is still fiercely independent and firmly committed to his behind-the-scenes work. In a funny twist that keeps Yuki on his toes, Banri initially refuses to give Yuki his new contact information right away—seemingly knowing that if he does, Yuki will probably spam him with non-stop text messages.

Relationships= Momo is often described as the "social glue". Because of his sunny disposition and veteran status, he acts like a caring, energetic big brother to almost every idol in the industry. However, his relationships also mirror his internal complexities—ranging from fierce loyalty to deep-seated protective instincts.

• Yuki (Yukito Orikasa): They have a "married couple" comedy act together, in which Momo is the boke, also known as the "idiot", of the pair, constantly making off the wall comments. Momo’s relationship with Yuki is a fascinating mix of profound professional respect, domestic synergy, and deep emotional codependency that evolves beautifully over time. At home and behind the scenes, Momo completely dotes on Yuki. He cooks for him, manages his fickle moods, and acts as his social shield. Initially, Momo’s devotion was fueled by his "placeholder" insecurity, making him terrified of letting Yuki down. However, once they finally communicate honestly, their bond becomes unbreakable. While Momo actively protects Yuki from industry politics, Yuki is secretly just as fiercely protective of Momo. Yuki has made it clear that if Momo ever quits or is forced out of the industry, Re:vale ends right then and there.

• Banri Ogami: Momo’s relationship with Banri is layered with history. Before they met again in person, Banri was a ghost that haunted Momo’s confidence, as Momo constantly compared himself to the "original" Re:vale member. When they finally reunited, there is zero jealousy or resentment. Banri is incredibly grateful to Momo for saving Yuki from despair, and Momo respects Banri as both a legendary idol and a supportive senior figure. They share a unique bond as the two people who understand Yuki's eccentricities best.

• Yamato Nikaido: Momo shares a very special, grounded dynamic with Yamato. Because Momo also hides his pain behind a cheerful mask, he was one of the few people who immediately saw through Yamato’s laid-back facade. Momo took Yamato out for drinks to gently pressure him into opening up, warning him about the dangers of bottling up secrets. They deeply respect each other

• Ryunosuke Tsunashi: Momo and Ryunosuke (from TRIGGER) get along famously because they share the exact same role in their respective circles: they are the ultimate nice guys and peacekeepers. Whenever their partners (Yuki, or Gaku and Tenn) get into stubborn, dramatic arguments, Momo and Ryu are usually found sitting together in a corner, sighing over their dramatic teammates and venting to each other.

• The Junior Idols (IDOLiSH7 & TRIGGER): Momo takes his role as a senpai (senior) very seriously. He treats the younger groups with immense warmth and generosity.

• Riku Nanase: Momo absolutely adores Riku, finding his pure-hearted energy endearing. He treats Riku like a precious younger brother and is always looking out for his health.

• TRIGGER: when TRIGGER faced a massive, unfair industry boycott and was forced to start over from scratch, Momo and Yuki risked their own reputation to secretly support them, providing them with resources and emotional backing when everyone else turned their backs.

• Ryo Tsukumo: Ryo Tsukumo targeted Re:vale, trying to psychologically manipulate Momo and threaten the group's status. This relationship highlights a completely different side of Momo. When pushed into a corner to protect Yuki and his juniors, Momo drops his bubbly "mood-maker" persona entirely, showing a chilling, fierce bravery that proves he is not someone to be messed with.
