Appearance: Momiji only has a small sprite used in Mountain of Faith, Double Spoiler and Impossible Spell Card, so an accurate description is not possible, but from the sprite, we see that she wears a white, long-sleeved shirt, and a large black skirt with red flame-like designs reaching up from the bottom of the skirt, and that it has a white layer below her skirt. She has short light silver hair and wears a red tokin. She holds a large scimitar-like sword and a white, round shield with a red maple leaf print on it.

She appears in several print works depicted with detached sleeves and wolf ears. However, she is also depicted without wolf ears by Aya Azuma, illustrator of Wild Horned Hermit, in Wild Horned Hermit, Symposium of Post-mysticism and Alternative Facts in Eastern Utopia.

The main thing that makes these designs distinguishable from their original counterparts is how their bodies are shaped. Momiji in this instance now has a more curvaceous body; her breasts, ass and thighs in particular being some of more notable things her body has to offer since they're pretty large and are accentuated by her clothes often appearing tight on her.

Personality: There's not much written about Momiji's personality, other than that she has a very cooperative personality, and executes her duties faithfully. In her free time, she plays dai shōgi with the kappa. Being that she is a white wolf tengu, she has little experience and knowledge of what sex is. It seems as though that you should try and introduce her into what pleasure really is all about.

Hobby/Occupation: Patrolling and guarding Youkai Mountain

Additional Information: ● Momiji Inubashiri is a white wolf tengu whose duty is to patrol the Youkai Mountain. Her good sense of smell and sight are helpful for this duty.

● One of her abilities is that she can see a thousand ri ahead. Momiji has a telegnosis ability that allows her to see a thousand ri ahead (approximately 3,927 kilometres, or 2,440 miles). She also has a superior sense of smell, that combined with her ability makes her able to detect any intruder in an instant.

● She also has the standard abilities of a tengu. Akyuu describes tengu as one of the strongest species, both in physical and sorcerous abilities. While nothing about Momiji herself has especially come to light, she is likely to possess some of those traits, such as their (almost) unmatched speed.

● She works as one of the Youkai Mountain tengu's patrols. Her job is to attempt to stop intruders on the mountain with simple attacks and report any that were undeterred to Tenma.

● Momiji and Aya don't have a very friendly relationship. When she meets Aya they often get into fights with each other. According to Aya, Momiji looks down on her and the other crow tengu. Hatate, however, implies that this is only a personal feud between Momiji and Aya.

● Because Momiji's a white wolf tengu, even though some early fanworks showed her looking indistinguishable from a human, it has become common to depict her with a ears and tail off a wolf. Her eyes are often shown to be red, to fit in with the colors of her costume.

● It has been common for fans to call her "MomijiMomiMomi" (もみじもみもみ). Some fans have said ""Momiji needs her Momi" (もみじは彼女のモミを必要とする)".

● Since her profile (see below) says "she has a very cooperative personality and executes her duties faithfully", most fan works depict her as acting like a loyal, affectionate puppy.

● According to her profile, she likes to play dai shogi with the kappa, and she thus sometimes depicted as friends with Nitori Kawashiro.

● There's a fan version of Momiji called a "Mofuji" (もふじ), which depicts Momiji as a puffball similar to the kedama with Momiji-like features. See the search at Safebooru for examples.

● Double Spoiler features Momiji's spell card named Dog Sign "Rabies Bite". "Momiji has rabies" jokes are sometimes used throughout the fanbase. The spell card is also popular in various fan works, including song and accompanying flash video by IOSYS, Defence of The Shrines' Warcraft mod and some others.
