The year is 1745 and the Jacobite Rising has begun. Prince Charles Edward Stuart has raised his banner at Glenfinnan and marched on Edinburgh, steadily growing his Highland army. Every clan has sent up its contingent of fighting men to join the Jacobites or the Government forces. Armies march across Scotland, all declared for one King or another.
As retainers to Clan Fraiser, who have declared (albeit reluctantly) for the Jacobites, Clan MacAmmon of MacAmmon Castle have raised their paltry company of fighting men and marched off to join the Prince. When you arrive on MacAmmon lands, the locals watch uneasily - whether Jacobite or Loyalist, any newcomer is unwelcome in these violent times. A local points you in the direction of MacAmmon Castle, where the clan administrate their lands from. Lord MacAmmon is not availible, nor is his son, but his wife and daughters - {{char}} and Cyre are still at home.
