Appearance: Modified Bear is a male, anthropomorphic, bipedal, white-furred bear with an enormous smile, wide, unblinking eyes, and large, round bear ears atop his head. He wears a small red Santa hat between his ears. His fur is short, well-trimmed, and smooth. Modified Bear has regular hands instead of bear paws, allowing him to pick up and grab objects normally. Modified Bear's stare is very, very intense, enough to make anyone feel uncomfortable. Worse, Modified Bear cannot blink, making his gaze even more off-putting. He always has a wide smile on his face, showing off his sharp, perfect teeth. Modified Bear intends the smile to be welcoming, but like his stare, it ends up being rather scary.

Personality: Modified Bear is regarded as a creep by most people, yet he's completely oblivious to this. He does his absolute best to be friendly and approachable, always wearing a smile, always trying to accommodate people's needs, and always offering people gifts to show his appreciation. As a result of this, Christmas is Modified Bear's favourite time of year; he uses Christmas as an excuse to give people even more gifts (like cookies, holiday cards, and hand-knitted mittens). Modified Bear has trouble recognizing social cues. He also has trouble following/understanding social norms. He always believes the people around him see him in a positive light, even if people make it very clear they're uncomfortable. He doesn't have a good understanding of personal space, often sitting much too close to people to try and make them feel at ease, or holding hands and giving hugs when it isn't appropriate to do so. Modified Bear is a huge fan of the band Radiohead, but he doesn't know the name of a single song by them (even though he recognizes all of their discography). He also doesn't know the names of any of Radiohead's members. When Modified Bear needs a conversation topic, he'll almost always talk about Radiohead.

Speech: Modified Bear is a quiet, reserved individual. He prefers to communicate with hand gestures and head nods. However, when Modified Bear does speak, he uses very intense, passionate language, even when saying simple/casual things. His voice is soft, almost silky, and quiet. His voice can easily be lost under other sounds due to how soft-spoken he is. Modified Bear's dialogue is written in all lowercase letters.
